Your credit card will be charged. I was charged over $10,000 in one month for a contested divorce. I do not recommend this large firm, as they are looking for billable hours. Effie was distant from me and made no effort to get to know my story. I chose the Limited Representation and when you Google this, there should be a partnership. Instead, she did everything and didn't even know how to use Dropbox. I would not recommend this firm.

Attorney Cummings was wonderful. I went to her for a prenuptial agreement and this was my first experience with a lawyer. She was personable, responsive, and explained complex terminology in layman's terms. She helped us create a fair agreement within the necessary timeframe. My inability to give 5 stars (I would say 4.5) results from some lack of communication from the firm, and I will preface that I am an anxious person by nature. Attorney Cummings was out of the office for an unexpected amount of time due to a significant personal emergency. While I would not have expected communication from her or continued work on my case during that time, I do wish someone from the firm could have been more communicative about what to expect. With more communication, I would have spent less time worrying about finalizing before our deadline. It made the experience a bit more stressful than it should have been. I provided this feedback to Attorney Turco and do believe it was well received. Overall, I would fully recommend Attorney Cummings. She went above and beyond for my prenuptial agreement. Additionally, Attorney Cummings and the firm were communicative about the closing out process and when I would receive my retainer.

I chose Ms. O Mailia, with others from the internet, reached out to all and she was the one who followed up in a timely manner. Throughout the whole process she responded quickly using the online portal and, having this portal, I was kept in the loop every step of the way even I am from out of state.
Kate is knowledgeable and presented her ideas and requests in a very supportive way. She is diligent, analytical and very resourceful. She was extremely well prepared and had me well prepared, all the while communicating with me empathetically. She cares about her clients.
She has a reasonable fee with an extremely transparent billing system.
She assured me, yet did not tell me we would win. Throughout it all she remained confident and calm and we won!

Nick is the best! You cannot beat him when it comes to an attorney who gives it to you at 150%: blunt honesty, understanding, compassion, exemplary legal abilities, kindness, friendship, humor. While he was unable to handle my potential claim, he still took time out and provided great referrals.

I had retained Heather in 2003 while going through a tough Divorce. It was a very difficult time and that's when I realized just how much she fought for me and my young son. Her tenacity and work ethic is top notch!
Twenty years later, my ex-husband had me back in court and without hesitation, I immediately contacted Heather's firm, and she took on my case, yet again. She fights for you, and fights hard. She has done so much for me during the tough times of divorce battles, etc..

Hands down the best lawyer I've ever worked with!!! She makes Johnny Cochran look like a scrub. Honestly though, Heather is professional and if you simply push the I believe in her button she will advise and assist you, then crush your case.
I had little hope in winning my custody case. I am an out of state father, going for full custody against my ex who looks amazing on paper since she is a teacher and licensed professional counselor. Nice place, however would not recommend Kourtney Simmons as a point of contact for an attorney. I experienced her as very quick tempered. Talks more than she listens and gets flustered easily during problem- solving - resolution tasks. I also don’t appreciate her openly discussing the matter in the lobby area of the firm instead of in her office when she got frustrated . Her voice began to rise first , and her facial expressions were flustered . Meaning, everyone in the office heard her and heard us . Not client confidential at all .
I believe if she could be more empathic in nature , and patient she could assist clients better with the needs of all parties involved , which could strengthen her reputation for the brand of this office .
Maybe it was due to her busy schedule so she wanted quick - cut - paid - deal when I finally got to see her, bringing my dad .
There was a misunderstanding - and instead of using critical thinking skills , to identify the root , she immediately jumped into defense .
I have an elderly father with 2 strokes, I already communicated that to her , a little slow in understanding , and she tried to spin my questions of clarity into coercion .
Other than that, I believe the staff are quite friendly and are awesome at following up and scheduling .
I hope in the future Kourtney can treat all of her clients with disabilities and non disabilities , black or white , young or old the same care as it’s given in previous reviews .

I had a great experience with this firm, specifically with Christopher Vaccaro representing me in traffic court. I was extremely nervous and Mr. Vaccaro was incredibly reassuring and comforting while answering all my questions about what to expect in court. I called Mr. Miller to seek his advice as the plaintiff in a commercial landlord-tenant dispute that was scheduled for small claims court in a couple of days. He spent over two hours on the phone with me during our first phone call gathering the details of the case and advising me on how I should proceed representing myself in court…without charging me a dime!
I decided to hire Mr. Miller for which he charged me a very reasonable fee. Mr. Miller understood the facts of the case very quickly and represented me during the trial with the utmost competence and professionalism. I ultimately won the case and attribute the court’s favorable decision to Mr. Miller’s representation.
I highly recommend Mr. Miller to anyone needing a competent, caring attorney!

I feel really lucky that Smith Law Group represented me. I have heard so may horror stories related to friends of mine going through a divorce and not having a good attorney. Everyone told me I would not get custody of my kids because I’m a father living in Washington State. Well, that is not true! Jordan, Rosé and the entire team were AMAZING from day one! I can not say Thank You enough. From the moment Rose answered my call in May 2018 to when we settled in the Fall of 2022 they treated us like family and made my daughter and I feel as though we could always trust them. We had gotten in a head on car accident in Vancouver, WA that I was not at fault. I was driving and my 13 yo daughter was in the passenger seat. STAY AWAY FROM ANY FIRM THAT EMPLOYS KELLY KILROY! She knew she was going to be disbarred and still took our case. We lost huge amount of money because of missed opportunities. She was too focused on saving herself. She would have lost malpractice lawsuit but "had no assets." (This is our opinion based on the facts we experienced).

I was told several months ago that it would take three months for the pay out it has now been way over that time and I still have not received anything every call I make to my attorney he never wants to answer and when he does he says he's still waiting for a response from certain appointments which is not true because they all responded already , interesting that attorneys can take a bigger percentage out of the settlement the longer they have it in their hands do not come to mvp accident attorneys!!
