Learned the hard way through an unfortunate experience that company HR is not the employee’s advocate. HKM will be. Corey Asay represented me in my case. He was very responsive, honest, and professional. He took care of everything and was able to get me a settlement. After an auto accident I got Mr Berman's number from my brother. Their legal team immediately went to work. Amanda was exceptional. Similar to wanting a doctor with great bedside manner, she was an outstanding lawyer. She is intelligent, calm, kind and methodical. Unlike many lawyers, she isn’t interested in racking up your billable hours; she works efficiently and only in your best interest. She always responded quickly to calls and emails. I hired attorney Carima to handle my case. She was great. Christine is very knowledgeable was always professional and prepared. I know nothing about divorce and was scared and upset. She id very easy to talk to and calmed me down; answered all my questions. She got me the best outcome that I could have asked for. I definitely took way too long to write this review, however they helped me back in 2021 with a bankruptcy case, and i had no idea what i was walking into. Not only did they get everything cleared up, but they also held my hand through the whole process and made me understand what was going on and how to do things step by step. Definitely never left my side.
As with most lawyers go, I dont wish to work with them again, however, I do wish i had a reason as they made it all so simple.

I had a consult with R.J. yesterday because I was concerned how my current divorce lawyer was handling my case bec she seemed a bit too friendly with my ex's lawyer who she knew. R.J kindly gave me his time and listened to my concerns and told me that he would gladly accept my case, but he thought my lawyer is doing the right thing by me and my kids. Now, that is a response from a highly intelligent, fair-minded attorney. If anything does happen with my current lawyer, I will be retaining R.J. because he's honest, straightforward and cares about the children involved in high conflict cases. I've interviewed at least 25 lawyers over my case and R.J. definitely stands out in a very good way.
