Melanie is very professional and capable. She fits the role of attorney perfectly. She is fair and friendly, a fast thinker with an excellent brain, she knows her business inside and out, she can be aggressive when necessary and she is available and responsive to questions concerns and emails. My previous attorney treated me like a second rate client, like she was squeezing me in to an already heavy case load, treated me like an afterthought. But not Melanie, she made me feel like my case and my concerns were her priority and they were. She is the attorney you want on your side to fight for what's fair and right for you. Also, my previous attorney did not have the experience and knowledge necessary for my complicated case. Melanie jumped right in and was able to lead and direct my case properly. I can't say enough good about her she's did everything exactly right. I couldn't imagine being in my very terrible situation without someone capable and strong like Melanie to stand in front of me and fight for me.

I would like to share my most positive experience regarding CalWest Law (Ali Nader).
I must say that Ali worked wonders for me in my bankruptcy case, I was scared and stressed before the outcome of my case. I had plenty of debt where as Ali Nader relieved my stresses, not only did he remove huge debt, he educated me on each step before committing to filing and through the accepted process. He was always available speaking directly with him, whether he was at court or in his office he always was there. I had a second and a third and it was amazingly removed freeing me of those predatory lenders. My life has been great and I am able tomaintain my life just from the education alone from Ali.
I recently contacted Ali Nader and he still remembered me without a charge, he educated me on some questions that I had. I LOVE Ali and his firm and I hope and pray that he will always be available (which I have no doubt). Lastly, very pleasant staff.

Amanda and team were Great. They took lots of time to be help me understand my case. Walking me through each step they ensure that I was well informed through the process. I hired Brian Lattimer to terminate a permanent alimony obligation.
I interviewed four attorneys as part of my process. Brian proved to be competent, realistic and calm. He understands the emotional turmoil that you go through in an adversarial conflict as well as what needs to happen on the legalside. My case was settled in mediation, with a fair settlement that permanently ended the obligation. I highly recommend Brian. He is a competent attorney and a genuinely caring person.

Brian is a great attorney that guided me expertly and skillfully throughout my divorce. Brian was actually my second attorney, after my first attorney failed to meet my expectations.
He was always available for questions, and answered them knowledgeably and thoroughly. He quickly responded to anyissues arising from the court or the other side, and treated each issue with great care.
Brian was able to negotiate a final settlement agreement that I could live with. Having to pay your cheating ex wife money for breaking your marriage is never fun, but Brian skillfully negotiated probably the best possible outcome for me given the circumstances of the current laws.
Overall I greatly recommend Brian to anybody going through divorce and would hire him again if I ever need a divorce lawyer again (which is hopefully never).

I hired Attorney Robidas to represent me in a motion for contempt in a tough co-parenting situation, and I can honestly say she went above and beyond. From the beginning, it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing. She took the time to really understand my case and made sure every detail was covered. By the time we got to court, it felt like she knew my situation as well as I did—maybe even better.
Watching her during cross-examination was something else. She was incredible—completely prepared, sharp, and in total control. Teresa Beyers is a go-to for your divorce and family law needs. I have read some reviews and disagree with the very few bad reviews. She has a ton of knowledge and a great ability to navigate a divorce case. Many reviews are written about charging too much for a divorce, but people don't understand she is more reasonable than most. Divorce is never cheap, Teresa will get you what you want and then some.

I had a lengthy property settlement & divorce. And it was because of her that we were able to keep it as amicable as possible. She first helped me through the Property Settlement. Followed by guiding me through the Divorce that followed. Patience was the key to my particular situation. But I know ifthe situation had called for more feistiness, she would have been right at my side for that, too. Everything is finalized now. And I know things would have been far worse and more stressful if I hadn't had her in my corner.
Everyone at NOVA Legal Professionals that I've spoken with is kind and knowledgeable. I spoke most often with Corrie and Brenda Membreno (paralegal). Separation and divorce are, by their nature, unpleasant and emotional situations. But they were amazing at helping that sometimes complicated situation feel less overwhelming.
She was the only attorney I have ever hired on my own, for any situation. But I did a lot of research before I did so and I read a lot of reviews. Her specialties and the other reviews seemed to say she'd be a good match for my situation. And the consultation I had with her confirmed that for me. Corrie was incredible to work with, you can believe everything they say on their website. She treated me and my divorce case with compassion, respect, understanding, and honesty. In my opinion, honesty shouldn't be understated in today's world. I happily settled in mediation. She was very well prepared for any eventuality that could come up. We used most of her preparation too. The opposing attorney wasn't as well prepared, and it made all the difference in the world for me and my case. One believes they will be married forever and then after several decades, circumstances can change leading to the end of ‘forever’. In the beginning, my husband and I agreed we would do a quick online divorce without lawyers so we created our own separation agreement. I started to feel uneasy when his amicable behavior changed, he stopped communicating and began wavering on our agreement. I soon realized that I needed legal representation to protect my interests. None of my friends had legal recommendations so I did an internet search.
I came upon the website for the Law Office of Shelly M. Ingram and started researching the firm. I was impressed immediately with the backgrounds of all the associates and reviews were spectacular. I was equally impressed when I made my initial inquiry with the Legal Assistant, Laurie Danko. She made the intake process over telephone and email seamless and had quick response time to all my inquiries. Jessica Gillespie, Associate Lawyer was assigned my case. I had never needed a lawyer before so I was really nervous and intimidated prior to our meeting. The law office is in a secured set of rooms in a professional building, giving me sense of safety. The conference room was designed with chic and beautiful features, yet it was warm and inviting. I was put at ease immediately when Jessica arrived. She was down to earth, approachable, and most importantly to me - empathetic. I had no reservations about hiring this firm.
My initial separation agreement needed to be revised in a few areas to protect my interests. I had very specific concerns about the wording of this document to ensure that my husband would not find a legal loop hole that would enable him to stop his financial obligations for me in the future. Jessica recommended a specialty law firm that could work in concert with her firm to address these specific items. Revising the agreement was a collaborative process that took a few weeks, which was important for me. She alleviated all my concerns, which made me feel that I was in control throughout this process. When we had our settlement conference at the Court house, Jessica negotiated a settlement that was very agreeable to my husband and me. Thankfully, everything was quite amicable, so much so that both our attorneys commented that they had never had a divorcing couple who were so friendly and agreeable to one another.
Ms. Gillespie has a busy caseload, yet she made me feel like I was her only client. She kept me apprised of everything that was happening with my husband’s attorney, the specialty law firm and all aspects with the Court process. I was concerned about this being a financial hardship, but she was very upfront and realistic about my retainer and expected legal fees. My divorce is now final and my concerns about my ex’s financial obligations were resolved as of this week. I even have a balance of my retainer that is being returned!
Nobody gets married with the intention of getting divorced. This process could have left me feeling defeated, however, I feel validated and empowered. I am so glad I decided to seek out legal advice. Hiring the Law Office of Shelly M. Ingram was the best decision I could have made.

David is very knowledgeable and nice. We had a customer who had conflicts with the available closing dates, and the only date that they are free to sign the closing document was on a Saturday. I felt very rude to try to ask David if he could accommodate, because I am afraid none of the escrow officer would like to work on their weekend, but David did. He is actually the one who values the customer service like me and will be willing to do everything to close the deal and make the deal done. Going through a custody battle is hard as it is, it’s stressful and emotional. Working with Alicia on the day to day and being represented by Amanda took almost all of the stress away. Mr. Randy Medina was very professional and really knowable in regards to child custody and moving orders. He was very detailed in explaining what could happen if the decision was to go one way or the other. He made sure we understood what we were getting ourselves into.
One of the biggest attributes we loved from Randy was his research of the many previous cases that has happened and utilizing those examples to your specific case. During our court hearing for our final decision, we loved that he walked us through our stressful experience and really explained why this process would be best for our case. I had a two hour consultation with Mr. Lastra concerning my pending divorce and custody matter.
I have multiple children with my spouse, including a stepchild from their previous marriage whose life I've been a part of since they were very little. Shortly into our meeting, Mr. Lastra asked me about my children and whether our relationship was biological, and then explained very compassionately that - unfortunately - if it were contested by either or both of their biological parents, he would not be able to guarantee me custody of or access to my stepchild as a de facto parent. He assured me that if he were representing me and I truly did want to pursue it against all odds that he would do everything in his power to help, but cautioned that it would likely be a long and costly uphill battle with an uncertain outcome.
As heartbreaking as that was to hear, Mr. Lastra was the first lawyer to really prioritize and ask about my concerns for the children rather than choose to focus on my spouse and our finances and marital property. His honesty about that - the one outcome I care most about - gave me peace of mind that he wasn't just telling me what I want to hear to get me to sign his retainer.
Additionally, while his consultation was not free, without my even having to ask, Mr. Lastra was extremely considerate of my budget. At the very beginning of the meeting, he verified the hourly rate that I had been quoted previously and told me how long his consultations with other people typically lasted. Then, every twenty minutes or so, he was kind enough to let me know how much billable time had elapsed and allowed me to set the pace of our discussion accordingly.
Throughout the rest of our meeting, Mr. Lastra was both extremely inquisitive and educational. Rather than simply listen to my account of events, he engaged frequently, asking regular questions and taking notes. He also shared a wealth of his own knowledge, pulling from both general law and process as well as experiences gained from similar cases he'd handled in the past. During our consultation, I felt both well listened to and that I was speaking with an obvious expert.
Prior to our meeting, I had discussed this matter with a few other lawyers, and while they were all quite professional and empathetic, none of them felt like they were being as realistic with me about the possible timelines, outcomes, costs, and the availability of themselves and their associates to adequately represent me and my family's interests as Mr. Lastra did. Though his rates are above average, my first impression from my consultation is that there is very good justification for it. He has absolutely earned my endorsement.

I needed a Temporary emergency (ex parte) order because my ex-wife was unstable and on drugs and left in the middle of the night with my two daughters to a different County 5 hours away.
