we hired Lisa after someone referred her. Being tired of attorneys that were in our town, they all were in each others pockets. Lisa was fresh and went straight in and took care of the problem. She's not cheap but worth every penny. I will never hire another attorney but her if I need one again.

I was refer to Ms Puleo from a different lawyer.
When I talk to Ms Puleo on the phone she understood and hear me.
She took my case. I did everything she requested of me.
She kept an eye on the court date.
The court date change and she was on top of it and notified me. I change my plan to the new date. - I read of nightmare when lawyers don't know if the court date change - it was not the case with me.
The case got dismiss ( yes you read correctly)
I still pay child support voluntarily. I believe a child should be taking care of with a fair amount.
If the child mother decide to take me to family court again, I will hire Ms Puleo again.

For fathers that are very involved in their kids lives and have to deal with the nightmare of divorce I would highly recommend Bryan Fagan and request specifically Jessica Horace and her paralegal Estrellita Ventura. Jessica is a strong and true advocate for fathers in the courtroom and has an assassins' vibe where opposing counsel has no idea what's coming. Jessica enabled me to win primary possession of my kids in a very long divorce case that lasted 17 months!? Jessica, Estrellita were very open minded, patient, professional, and prepared me well for the trial, expected tough cross examination from opposing counsel, and were open to my ideas for the trial as well to ensure I got what I wanted.

I needed a lawyer for my divorce, and a few years later to file a custody suit. I found Ms Weaderhorn very compassionate and caring about the situation I was in and the stresses I was feeling. She always responded promptly to my emails or questions, and with answers that indicated to me that she had really listened, thought about and considered her response. She guidede me through the sticky processes I mentioned above with professionalism and savvy. However, Ms Weaderhorn also would listen to my suggestions for alternate plans or solutions and was open to working with me even if it was a different direction than she had suggested. I liked the fact that Ms Weaderhorn was willing and able to go to bat for me, toe to toe with opposing attorneys, and in the courtroom. I always felt confident that she was doing all she could to protect my interests. I also liked that when we encountered some resistance, she asked for my opinion about what I wanted her to do, so our professional relationship was clearly based on mutual respect. I felt that she was not just my attorney, but a valued member of my team.

Ali is a dedicated, knowledgeable and hard- working attorney. She has the ability to look at a situation from multiple angles and to assess the best strategy to implement. My sincere thanks to Susanne Bonilla Harrold and David Henry for doing a fantastic job in handling my child support case. This was my first experience with a court case and the entire process. I did not know what to expect; especially being abroad; it was very hard on me, but Suzanne tranquilized me through the entire process.
Suzanne was professional, and although we only talked on the phone, she was genuinely empathetic, competent and most importantly, honest. Her compassion towards me was unique. She did not set false expectations, and she was very patient, taking care to explain every step of the process to me so I was able to make informed decisions. Everyone at Suzanne’s Law Firm was professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. They took care of all the stressful phone calls and emails which made it less complicated as possible! When I had questions, no matter what they were, they responded quickly by telephone or email.
In court, for my case, I worked specifically with her associate David Henry, he was knowledgeable, assertive when necessary, and patient with my questions, keeping me updated the entire time. Cindy took over my divorce case from my former lawyer and she quickly learned all the details of the case. My divorce was not amicable or simple. We owned several properties together and our finances were very complicated. Cindy's knowledge, professionalism and efficiency kept my ex and I focused on the negotiations. She skillfully mediated difficult, touchy topics and she kept the process moving. She is well-versed in handling divorces and clearly explained my options each step of the way. My ex didn't have a lawyer so Cindy had to deal with him directly, as he was pro se (representing himself). She's great with people and summed up my situation with him pretty quickly. She dealt with him perfectly. We were able to sign a fair agreement that I was happy with and we avoid a costly trial. I am incredibly grateful to Cindy for her advice, understanding and diligence, especially for being persistent with the judge's office in getting the divorce paperwork filed.

Cindy Sanchez has been my lawyer since 2005. She was referred to me through a legal plan I had at my job. I hired Cindy to help me obtain a shared physical and legal custody of my children. My case was fairly complicated since my children's mother took them to another state with the intention of relocating to that state just before the beginning of the school year. My children were supposed to go back to school in September 2005 in New York City. However, their mother enrolled them in a school in another state, 700 miles away from New York City. Cindy was able to convince the judge to schedule a court hearing early in September 2005. This was extremely important because the longer my children stayed in the school out-of-state, the smaller the chance that the judge would order to bring my children back in their school in New York was. Cindy was extremely helpful to ensure that my children's mother could be served with the order to appear in court. My children's mother was very difficult to find. I first try the local police to serve her but it did not work. Cindy advised me to hire a local professional to do the serving. In a matter of minutes, she was able to identify this professional. It was critical to do the serving during the appropriate time window. Otherwise, the court date would have been postponed to October 2005. As I mentioned before, this would have tremendously reduced the chance of having my children back in their school in New York for the year 2005-2006. During the court hearing in September 2005, the judge ordered that my children had to return to their school in New York. I was relieved by this decision. I can say that without the expertise and responsiveness of Cindy, my children would not have returned to New York.
Cindy was resourceful, insightful, and supportive at every stage of the divorce process. She helped me obtain a shared physical and legal custody of my children. She has also successfully helped me with a few custody issues since the divorce. Cindy is a very intelligent and knowlegdeable lawyer who has the ability to listen to the client and fully understand his/her needs, concerns, and fears. I have also appreciated her very pleasant and balanced personality. I highly recommend Cindy.

This has been my first experience meeting with a lawyer. Surprisingly, my meeting with Jason went so well. It was very informative and educational. After listening to my situation patiently, he advised me on what steps I need to take to protect my children and myself in my pending divorce case.
Jason believes in being there for his clients when they need him. If he is occupied for a period during the business day he returns phone calls and e-mails as quickly as possible, the same business day, using the technology he has in place to stay in touch.
I believe Jason listens to his clients and really understands what the client wants and needs, and works within that framework. I went to him concerning a custody issue after I was pretty much told by another lawyer that my children's emotional feelings were irrelavent & I had no argument as long as they were not coming home bruised or physically broken. He took the time to talk with my children. He fought for my children's rights & he is - in my book - a child advocate. He was very informative & great with the kids. He made a scary situation not so scarey. I trusted him with my children and they are getting the help they need. He made the law work for the little people.

Jim and company represented me concerning a frivolous lawsuit.He was always punctual for meetings, hearings, court dates,filing of documents with the court, He was great with answers to my questions and when he was not sure of the answer Jim would take whatever time he needed to look up the answer, always returning phone calls,emails, and texts. The first thing Robin McCarty did was lay out my case, the possibilities - both good and bad - with straight forward, even if brutal, honesty. Many people have ended up with dire consequences because their case was sugar coated and made to look like no problem. Robin sits with you and tells you the truth.
Robin then carefully, patiently, guided me through the process for almost two years - the end result was a full dismissal of charges.
One unique thing about Robin, he was a former peace officer and previous prosecutor - so he understood both sides of the system. This was tremendously helpful.
I call him Robin because he is a really great guy and it didn't take long before I realized he truly cares about his clients and is just as concerned about their future as any loved one would be.
Overall, I would highly recommend Robin McCarty.

Ms. Spielvogel was recommended by another girl friend that have been through a tough divorce that had dragged out few years. I have no qualm to hire her as she was highly recommended in The Woodlands and Spring area. She is a tough lady, but fair and honest as well. When I was in an emotion wreck, she was honest to me about what would help and what wouldn't help my case. Could appreciate more than anything about her work. Janet is such a great lawyer - the process of divorce is so hard, but it makes it so much easier when you can trust your attorney. She is very ethical - and that was very important to me. I could trust her judgement. When I was upset and suggested stupid things, she would rein me in. I heard horror stories of other attorneys charging their clients for every little thing - Janet never did that. Her bills were accurate, and her work was worth every penny.

My divorce became entangled with accusations and charges that faced overwhelming consequences and losses that no person is prepared for. It was impossible for me to see any possible resolution or hope of a happy future. Meredith was able to take on all the emotionally charged fears and concerns and help me understand that nothing was ever being conceded, but that her process was a method of reducing risk. Not only did each “Step” improve my life, but the entire process exonerated me too. It also allowed for a dialogue that prepared me for things to look out for in the future, how to safeguard myself and greatly lower my stress and anxiety. Overall, her efforts improved the quality of life for me and my children. At one point, I had to put my entire life and future in her hands. Meredith is one of those rare finds: she listens and she understands. She's reachable and she returns calls immediately. She knows what it's like to go through a divorce, especially the impact on the kids. Meredith fought for me and she helped me see so many things I had no clue were important, all of which meant a better settlement for my children and me. I was hit by a drunk driver and had some significant injuries. Mr. Hagerty was referred by another attorney and it was the best thing that happened. Mr. Hagerty and his assistant were always responsive. Besides representing me on the civil case against the drunk driver and his insurance company, Mr. Hagerty took the time to make sure I understood what was happening in the drunks criminal case and he showed a lot of compassion with the feelings of anger and frustration I was experiencing. He also kept me updated on our civil case. He understood my concerns and understood why it was important to me that the driver contribute to the settlement, not just his insurance company and he made that happen. That meant so much to me and I was grateful.

Catherine was a great "partner" to help me through my divorce. I had a fairly difficult situation with custody and she helped navigate through very skillfully. She is extremely smart, consultative and will always shoot straight with you.
One of the things I like most about Catherine is her "get it done" attitude. With most attorneys - the clock is their friend. With Catherine - she always did what was in my best interest and did it efficiently. Just one telling example - we needed to file a document early on in the process and instead of taking handwritten notes (like most attorneys would), and having her paralegal type it up later, review it, etc... Catherine turned around to her computer and just hammered it out. It saved time because it was done then, and it was done right the first time. I'm not saying this will happen all the time - but its a good example of her personality.
She didn't always agree with what I wanted to do, but was always able to calmly explain the possible implications and we always came out with a solid strategy. All in all, the best outcome was achieved for me and for my children.
I highly recommend her.
