I had been significantly harassed by two collection debt companies that I neither owed money, making the debt a mute point. In one case, they had the wrong name with wrong social sec. #. I contacted Mr. Malone and his legal parnter Mr. O Connor have been professional, helpful and successful.
The collection agencies went to my neighbors looking to see if I was the person they were looking for. Mr. O Connor put a stop to that quickly. This office restored my dignity and vindicated my just cause. They really care about their clients and show an incredible interest of personal concern, which is rare these days. Lord Bless all his staff.

I had a bad accident in July of 2010. My leg was broken in five places. I was heliported to the hospital and needed three surgeries over 18 months. Thank god I hired John to handle my case. As a person who have never needed a Lawyer for any reason, I had a situation recently I met with alot of lawyers and most of them were only concerned about the payment for the services they provide, now I understand a lawyer is not free. Mark Downton went above and beyond on our case. He took the time to talk to us put together all the details, and build a strong case. He was honest in telling us what to expect and how the legal system works, and did not sugar coat anything or promise something that he could not do. He has compassion for people and it shows in his work, the myth that lawyers don't have a heart is so not true with Mark Downton. Mark Downton may be the smartest person I've ever met and he's the best lawyer in the country if you ask me. Not only is he a good soul he genuinly cares for his client as if they were his kin. He's not your typical lawyer, he doesn't see you as a bunch of dollar signs, he sees you as someone who needs his help. He's the underdog who always comes out on top. Why? Because he can out lawyer any hot shot lawyer he goes against...seriously! This guy is the geniune article. Choosing any other attorney would be a mistake.
If you're lucky enough to him you should thank your lucky lucky stars....Think of him as the short Perry Mason or Matlock...only much better and actualy real.
I would choose Mark Downton over any other lawyer in Nashville without hesitation.

Michael Ronemus is everything you would want to find in an attorney. patient, knowlegeable, detailed, and caring. Mr. Ronemus represented me in a legal malpractice against my former personal injury attorney who mishandled a class action, product defect action. Mr. Ronemus, through appeals brought this action to a successful conclusion. I felt so comfortable with Mr. Ronemus that he even handled a trademark infringement action for my family and myself even though he did not specialize in such. This action was also brought to a successful conclusion.

I write from the perspective of someone who has not only hired half a dozen lawyers in prior years, but as someone who is now in law school. In short, I have been around many lawyers.
There are many fine lawyers and so a lawyer who does a good job for a client doesn't necessarily stand out. Thus, while I would give a good review to many lawyers, Mr. Holt is the only lawyer to whom I would give an unqualified five-star review; not only is he an exceptional lawyer, but he is someone who genuinely cares for his clients.
I have sat here for a while debating the best way to explain my opinion of Mr. Holt without digressing into either a list of commonly-used adjectives that could be written about anyone (and by anyone), or into the multiple ways that he has consistently exceeded expectations as my lawyer for the past five years. I think the following most accurately conveys my sentiments:
Despite being a profession that is the recipient of more than its fair share of jokes and pessimism, a lawyer -- at his or her best -- has a higher calling. The lawyer is a champion of the rule of law and a zealous advocate for his or her client. In these roles, a lawyer necessarily inhabits a special position of trust and should be deeply mindful of the fact that his or her efforts may profoundly affect the lives of other people. The best of lawyers recognize these facts and thus they do not approach the practice of law as merely a job.
And so, when I think about these facts within the context of soon embarking on my own legal career, I cannot think of a better embodiment of the virtues that all lawyers should strive toward than Mr. Holt. He therefore has my unqualified highest recommendation.

Let's face reality-- having to call a criminal lawyer at 3:30AM on the 4th of July because someone got arrested is NO FUN. But, Richard picked up, was on the phone with me the entire holiday weekend, guided me through what is otherwise an awful & traumatic experience with true compassion and concern that no amount of money in the world can buy. I don't want to abuse it, but 7am, same day, at night, he answers. Because when you need an answer you don't want to wait. I've got to say I consider Richard more than our lawyer-- I consider him a friend. And, when facing criminal charges you want someone who actually cares about the outcome for you and your family. His legal expertise is wonderful. The Bail Bondsman referred by someone else knew his reputation and said, "he's amazing." I hope not to need Richard too much in the future. Hell, I wish to never NEED his services, but it's good to know now I do and he's there for me.

Excellent attorney and very personable. Victor Ruiz is the type of person you want in your corner when dealing with a situation you feel like you cant handle. From the beginning, he makes you feel at ease, he has control of whatever you're facing and guides you in the right path. Mr. Tidwell handled a "slip and fall" case for us. We could not have made a better decision regarding attorney selection. We found him to be genuine, honest, ethical, trustworthy, and extremely knowledgeable. We had hired an attorney previously, and he sat on our case for almost two years without ever contacting us, so it was great working with an attorney the caliber of Mr. Tidwell. He apprised us of potential pitfalls and possibilities relative to our case and was sincerely interested in our needs.
