Disabled veteran and first time reviewer of anyone. Stay away from this law firm. If you read the low reviews on Google, you'll get the most accurate outlook on the work ethic of this lawyer. I had a restraining order filed on me based on false claims. I had a police incident report practically proving the claims made were false and on my initial meeting, he was quick to say that he would subpoena the police officer that responded to the incident and that he would get the case dismissed. For this he wanted $1,500. As it was part of a divorce with no kids and complicated finances, he charged a total of $3,500 for both. I spoke with a half dozen law firms before going with his since the task was simple enough that even I myself could have done it but since I couldn't afford mistakes, I instead made the mistake of hiring this lawyer. The day before the hearing I had to call him since he had not contacted me regarding the case or his process or anything at all. The reason was that he hadn't done anything- He walked in to the court room less than 5 minutes before the hearing began and asked me questions about the restraining order which I provided to him weeks before. Apparently he took the time to read it right before the hearing itself because instead of fulfilling his promise, he just asked for a continuance or postponement if you're unfamiliar (and billed me for his appearance). The next hearing went exactly the same way, except it was the other party that requested the continuance (and he billed me for his appearance). After I contacted him demanding he file the evidence I provided to him and ask what his plan was for the next hearing, his response was that he was "hoping the other party doesn't show up". He got his wish (and billed me for his appearance) and the case was dismissed without prejudice after him having done nothing and with a smile that implied a victory, said that even though it can be filed again, he would just take care of it then. The next problem was the response to a divorce filing. His paralegal called me multiple times the day it was due, the last of which occurred after 4:00PM while she ironed out the details. The response was filed shortly after that and less than an hour from the deadline, which tells me he wouldn't even have time to proofread it. Although his staff is very diligent , friendly and competent, the opposite is all that can be said for this lawyer. In the first hearing dealing with jurisdiction of my divorce, he lost. For context, the other party represents themselves and is a person in their early 20s with zero college and legal training and that's who he lost to. (and he billed me for all of this) I arranged a meeting in person after this to try to understand why all of this occurred the way it did. The first thing he did in the meeting is remind himself of who I was and my case (he never took the time to learn either of my cases), and after my first query that questioned his level of competence, he immediately offered to withdraw from my case. Having already made the decision to fire him, I pressed forward in the conversation asking him why he failed to get my restraining order case dismissed, to try to get reassurance that he wouldn't lose to court against this person a second time. Instead of providing any explanation, he just reiterated that he would withdraw from my case. I haven't been invoiced for this month yet but I have a feeling I was billed for that as well. The conversation took place over 8 minutes and what I have written here was all he said. The ordeal I've just related cost me over $3,000. And due to his failure to withdraw from my case within a deadline, the opposing party is filing a complaint with the BAR. I am filing one of my own for obvious reasons. I don't see any responses to either positive or negative reviews on google, so use that as reference to his method of addressing really just about anything.

Jason was phenomenal! He listened to my issue and provided cost-effective solutions for my debt. I must admit- It is very difficult to come face-to-face with debt; It hurts the ego and has left me with sleepless nights of worry and impending doom. The fact i have to even give 1 star to write this is pathetic. Should be 0. Exactly what Meagan Love reviews below. This was awful representation. No formal intake, no questions. Everything I would talk about I had to remind of constantly because he wouldn't remember, which was billed for his memory loss. I could tell no notes were ever taken. He is very unorganized, even his office. Did nothing I requested. Didnt even guide me on anything Awful at communicating or representation me. Prejudice because I was the mother and not the father even though I had so much proof of dealing with a deadbeat liar of a father to my child. I regret not changing lawyers soon because he was a red flag early on my case but I felt stuck and he assured me and started communicating better. I was fed up when after mediation when we chatted he forgot yet again of anything he and I agreed on in mediation. I do not recommend his representation. Maybe he is better with representing fathers but he is a waste of money and just awful. I'm better off representing myself as I was doing that the whole time anyway. New counsel (Brighter Day Law Firm for anyone looking for someone to actuallt represent their best interest and most importantly-their childs) I hired did more for for me in weeks than him in a year. Everything i would say was in one ear and out the other and all my ideas and request. He's a total joke and should retire. good luck! Post court update: I did better than he could've ever done for me, by myself. Reassured what I did pay him was a waste. Also learned during final orders stuff he did not do such as filing financials when I sent them to be filed as well as not setting up temporary orders to protect me and my child. Although we as individuals and parent at the time did agreed on temp orders he did not guide me and did not care (Example is back child support he said would be calculated but he never put that in there so it didn't matter and was not granted). Thankfully I was not out for father of my child's money and don't care but shows total neglect as a hired attorney to represent me. He's out of touch with how to do his job. Some of it I'm sure was on purpose as he favored the other party that did not hire him. I have filed a state complaint against him. And looking at options to sue him for a refund of the waste of money he was. Please seek other counsel especially if you are a woman and mom. You'll be happy you did and I should've switched sooner with the continuous red flags. He is known to do bare minimum and settle out of court and not take cate of clients. I've also learned alot about him after the fact and he should let himself go off my case as there was a major conflict in interest with my lawyers.

I just don't feel like he put forth any kind of effort. He wasnt even prepared the day of my final hearing. Every time we spoke i felt like i had to remind him of my case. He did absolutely nothing to help me get literally anything I wanted so now my kid gets to stay with a drug dealing absent parent simply because i dont live locally and im stuck paying more child support than I can afford. I feel like I wasted so much money to have to deal with a lawyer that didn't even try and he still wants more!

I am so grateful that I chose to utilize legal services with this firm! I would highly recommend, here's why. Firstly, I had multiples cases to resolve and felt very distraught about the whole thing. Jason was comforting and I felt I was in the right place from the start. He sat down with me and had a thorough discussion about the processes and listened to all my questions and concerns without hesitation. He was incredibly knowledgeable and I really felt like he would be able to take care of everything and I could just let go of my stress and doubt. Exactly what I needed! Jason seems like one of the most hard working, thorough lawyers I'd ever come across. He was ontop of everything and to make me feel priority when he had other clients as well was just icing on the cake. With the courts being constantly shut down he also made sure I was ready for the call ins and he always showed up on time. Thank you Jason, Incase you see this I really appreciate all that you've done. The reception team always answered the phones, and I was always able to get connected to someone who could help me along the way, even if Jason was in the middle of a court session with another client. I ALWAYS felt priority which was amazing. The communication rather via email or phone call was so relieving, I never felt left in the dark or confused about what was going on. I could email them and receive a response within 24 hours, usually much sooner. I also worked with Mark and Sabrina on another case while Jason was dealing with my other ones and I was nervous at first. I did some research on Mark to see where he came from and studied etc. But everything turned out great. They were able to communicate with eachother and myself well, and get all the required paperwork turned in. Sabrina reached out a lot to make sure everything went smoothly. Mark was kind in making sure I was getting what I wanted and not being taken advantage of. All in all, everything went about as smoothly as it could given the circumstances.
