Called in because I was having issues with my landlord they helped me out to understand my rights awesome law office

I called from outside the Denver county area and spent 40 minutes on the phone with Floyd. He listened patiently and provided clear information. He even followed up with a phone call later in the day to get me additional resources. They obviously care and are doing right by their community!!

I have to say this law firm is awesome! They are fast and affordable along with great service and professionalism!! I highly recommend them. The Attorney is very knowledgeable and caring. Mr. Floyd is awesome as well he really shows care and compassion.

Called two weeks ago and still no response to my message left on vm...

Surprised to see such great reviews! Perhaps, it was just a bad day but what a great way to leave your first impression. I wasn't really sure who the gal was when I called to get a quick consultation about a housing issue that I'm having. She was very short and vague, left me feeling as if my "potential business" was insignificant. Called a different attorney only to be recommended back to April. I called back to confirm if her office would be able to assist me and found that I was actually speaking with the attorney herself from the very start. Her service was absolutely awful, I understand that I was unable to get "FREE" legal consultation given that I was not in the Denver area, but this doesn't mean that I wouldn't have paid someone to represent me should that need arise. She didn't even offer what services she could provide at a cost, which at that point I decided I wouldn't spend my money on her counsel anyhow. The fact that she showed lack of care/professionalism from the start questions me on how much she really cares about providing her expertise for her clients, whether existing clients or prospects. Very disappointed!

I was referred to Colorado Affordable Legal Services by an organization who helps find affordable resources. At first, the conversation was kind but then it turned into a confrontational sales pitch, where Floyd said that I had to think about if the cost for a lawyer was worth getting out of my lease. Completely fair and I wasn't looking for freebies. However, when I explained I am a freelancer and lost 85% of my income due to the COVID crisis, Floyd stated "Well, I guess you don't have anyone who could help you with the financial piece of this, right? So you are stuck there. I wish you the best of luck." and hung up. There are way better ways to approach people and talk about financing options. This was NOT a good strategy. I will not recommend Colorado Affordable Legal Services as there was no sensitivity on the phone coming from their end. In response to this, I felt way worse about my situation than when i first called and wish I had never called them. Ps. To tell me that my financial situation is sad because I couldn’t afford your rates at the time is patronizing and judgmental . The attitude you choose to exhibit is unprofessional. Thanks for responding seven months later. Note I found a lawyer who was able to provide the exact help that I needed in one call, the very next day. Good luck to you.

This law firm was really helpful with a Landlord-Tenat dispute that I had, they gave me really insightful advice and answered to my questions in a quick and professional way.

The gentleman that answered my call gave me a rundown of how I can begin addressing my tenancy issue and possibly get the desired result without litigation.
