Our 16-year-old son was facing some very serious felony charges after a motor vehicle crash claimed the life of his passenger. Our son and his passenger were best friends and had been since shortly after birth. The crash was a result of swerving to miss 2 deer. The Colorado State Patrol was quick to pick up the sword of "justice" and come at our son and our family with a head full of steam. I called several lawyers and honestly was not impressed, they seemed sympathetic to a short degree but primarily were focused on telling us what their cost would be. I called Scott's Office and Scott called me back quickly for my first consultation.
