I had 3 charges and a bad lawyer who I later realized didn’t care about me and only wanted money. I felt doomed and could only envision loss of a job and a jail cell. SC Tickets especially in Charleston county are difficult to deal with. I spoke with Mr Seibert, who had an excellent reviews for traffic violations, and he dealt with the speeding ticket at a very reasonable price. All other firms' prices were completely ridiculous and they could not even guarantee to reduce it.

Matt Touhy is in a league of his own. On the surface it seems like he is too good to be true and I typically dont write reviews but Matt has shown up to the plate time and time again. Matt will put you at ease with his experience. He actually cares about his clients and is willing to put in the work and proves himself to be a class act. Ryan Lane and his office staff are to be commended. Mr. Lane represented me to modify a divorce regarding child support. I truly experienced justice with him. I want to share a few words about David, who handles my uncontested divorce.
He is a high-level professional with a positive attitude and excellent work ethics. He is very responsive. David is the type of lawyer who would always call you back or shot you an email on the same day no matter what type of question you have. This attitude from the lawyer is very important for me as I'm going through some difficult times in my life.
I would add that he is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise and if there is any difficult question he would go above and beyond to find the right answer for his client. Where do I start? With less than ideal circumstances during this pandemic, Fawn has been able to be there by my side literally every step of the way. Searching for a trustworthy lawyer is painstaking because who would want to waste their money on an unreliable lawyer with no credibility? Hiring Dr. Calev was the best decision I made concerning my immigration issues. He and his assistant Pepe were very professional and easy to work with. They were very proactive in preparing me for everything--they would call me for updates even before I could call them. They treated me like I was their most important client, for a fee that's more than reasonable. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. I got my greencard before the anniversary of my filing.

I had been separated from my wife for over 5 years, 2 of them trying to get her to sign Uncontested divorce papers. I left her the house and everything in it + I leased her a new car and more. One of her clients happened to be a divorce Attorney and decided to take her on Pro bono, now she wanted all sorts of things never mentioned before, I had only 1 stipulation on the paper work, that she is 100% responsible for any money owed at end of car lease, that's was it but her Attorney insisted that she not be.. I would not agree and she would not sign, we could have signed the paper work that I paid a paralegal firm to prepare, I even went to the courts and paid for the Index #, everything was done, we only needed notarized signatures and we would be divorced, No Attorneys needed but NOPE, almost 3 years later NO divorce. We were at a total standstill for a year and then I was speaking with a customer of mine and I asked what he did for a living? He answered Im an Attorney, immediately I said can I ask for some advice? He said ofcourse...... LONG STORY SHORT- I retained Benjamin Calev as my Attorney to represent me in my divorce, He said Mike all you need is to give me my retainer and I will take care of everything, you just get me any information I ask for and I will have you divorced in *6 months*- *MUSIC TO MY EARS*...( Might I ad his retainer was INCREDIBLY reasonable, and the total cost when all done? Let's just say he loves what he does and he is not all about the money... I could have easily been charged triple or quadruple what he charged me, I actually had another Attorney quote me triple). Today is January 4th 2021, Benjamin text me on December 23, 2020 Congrats your divorced, My favorite Christmas present I could have received which was just about 7 months later, not the 6 months that he said but not his fault, the papers were signed and in the courts 2 months ago waiting for the Judge to sign them. So my last words are if you have a legal issue or a unfortunate situation of any type call Benjamin Calev, he is caring, sincere, honest, hard working and a PIT BULL when needed, you would never know it when you meet him or get to know him but TRUST ME - (PIT BULL).... My son found himself in a terrible situation that neither he nor I ever imagined he would be in. It was devastating, and we didn’t know the best way to proceed. A friend highly recommended John, and hiring him was the absolute right thing to do. He advised, counselled and supported us through the entire court process. This is my first time working with Lawyer Victor and I'm impressed with the result. His communication with a client is superb! I got a ticket for disobeying a traffic sign in The Bronx of which I didn't even see the sign and there wasn't any pavement marking also, so I was left with two options either to plead guilty and pay the ticket with "2 points on my license" or give it a try by giving the case to a Lawyer. Upon a recommendation from a relative, I gave the case to Lawyer Victor A. Bernace. I got the ticket dismissed yesterday. November 2020 I had a slip and fall, I spoke to a family member, believing that this could have been preventable, he referred me to The Wharton Law Firm, I have never been in this situation before so I contacted the firm. All this happened during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, I received a phone call advising that the attorney wanted to conduct a zoom consultation, during the consultation I advise him of what had taken place on that day, I was then advised that the firm would except my case, I was grateful. Not knowing what to expect, I went to all my doctor visits, obtain any evidence that I could, Andrew kept me up dated on every aspect of the case, if he emailed and stated they needed anything such as medical records, medical bills ect. I was able to obtain them. anytime they call, emailed the first thing they ask was how was I feeling. I woud receive some emails asking certain questions about that day, to clear up a few unanswered questions. As time went on I was still continuing treatment, I would advise them of every appointment I had, what day, who I was seeing, afterwards I would email Andrew advise him of my visit, what will happen next, I just kept him up to date on everything that was going on. Once we got to the near end I was advised of the starting offer, he advise me on each and every one through the end, he consulted with me about what to expect and how this negotiaton would take place, after mutipile offers and at that time which I agreed to settle. I have talked about this firm to my family and would highly recommend The wharton Law Firm, because I was completely satisfied. Mr Bogen was assigned my son's case as a public defender in Kaufman county back in July of 2022. My son faced serious charges that sadly he was guilty of. However the focus of Mr Bogen from day one was to get my son the help he needed to get over his addictions and live a successful life without this mistake being held over my son's life forever. When Kaufman county refused to help my son, Mr Bogen fought them hard and got them to dismiss the charges in a short 2 months. He also gave a dose of reality to my son's mom and made her realize that she had to step up or see her first born in prison for up to 40 years.
He went above and beyond and got the best possible outcome for my son. He fought hard for a client that the county was paying for, at no point did I feel like he was not fighting 100% with all of his tools to win.
My only regret is he does not handle Family Law cases.

I want to recognize the best attorney on this planet, Joseph is definitely God Sent . He worked so hard on my brothers case in Kaufman County, not only did he bring everything to light and laid it all out for the jury to see he used facts and told the story of what happened that night. I had a felony charge back in 2013 and had another lawyer who said my only option was 5 years probation or jail time. I was lucky enough to find Mr. Bookstein who took my case and immediately I saw that it was the best decision ever. I was offered one year probation, which after successful completion, all charges were dropped to just a misdemeanor.
