I had tried myself, and it was turned down. Over fairly small things I didn't realize would be an issue or I would have done things differently. So it was recommended to me to talk to him. SO glad I did. He is VERY focused on details. Which is needed or you can get rejected for simple things. So he made sure everything was together, and any detail that could be potentially questioned was backed up with info on it so the secretary of state could have a full and accurate picture of everything. He was amazing from start to finish. He also is very to the point on what may be looked at as an issue and to let you know ahead of time so if you do get questioned on certain things you know what to expect. Also, very easy to reach and stays in contact throughout the process and gets back to any call or email quickly. He is very invested in presenting the best case possible for his clients and does care about his clients- rare from my experience with lawyers. He is amazing and very good at what he does.

Mr. Langscheid is truly the best there is out there, for what he does. He has been doing this for a long, long time... And is so good in fact, that he does it all by himself and isn't part of a group. He doesn't need to be, that's how successful he is at winning cases. His attention to detail when it comes to catching errors in paperwork and cross examining a story so all the pieces fit correctly in the case before being put before a hearing officer or judge, is astounding. He caught details that even my husband and I didn't catch, and it was our own case and paperwork, our hopes and dreams at stake. Most lawyers just leave it up to you to not make any errors, take your money and word for it, file whatever you give them and don't check anything... Putting you at risk to lose your case. Not to mention they are very hard to get ahold of, don't respond for weeks or follow up, and are likely to allow their personal opinons get in the way of their client's chances of success, because they develop certain attitudes when it comes to places or events surrounding your case. Not Mr. Langscheid. He is very attentive, responds quickly within a few days at most, answers his phone if for some reason you have a question or concern, and is dead serious when it comes to winning your case. When you are serious and ready to find the one who will help you get your DL back, call him. Be prepared to be completely honest about your story on the intake call with him. He will not take your first payment if he doesn't feel like the case can be won, and if anybody can win your case, it's him only. Don't omit any nasty details or try to smooth things over on the intake call, because if you do that you'll only be fooling yourself and he needs to realistically know the absolute truth before any money is taken. At some point all the dirty details will need to come out anyway and nobody needs to put themselves or others in that position for failure.
After 13 years of being without a DL, a few days ago my husband went to the DMV and got his license back thanks to Mr. Langscheid. All I can say is be prepared to be sober and honest, do EXACTLY what he tells you to do without argument, and remember that he has your best interest in mind. If you do that, you will get your license back.

Mrs. Bunn is an excellent Attorney. She was the difference between me going to prison for over 28 years in my court martial case for several crimes I did not commit. I came to Sherry for some issues i had in the military, she worked with my budget and worked morning, noon, and night to get all of my questions answered no matter how big or small they were. She explained things to me like i was an adult and was very reasonable with her fees. it felt more like a donation than a charge. I was recommended to Ms. Bunn by a friend. I was so impressed with her Military Experience in the court room as a soldier, but more recently as a civil lawyer. The quote above is one I wish had come to mind before retaining the first attorney in my criminal case. It is never a good decision to make a decision from anxiety and fear of unfamiliar circumstances.
What prepares a person without a criminal record to take the next step in the judicial process after bonding out of jail? Nothing.
Living an honest life for 60 years means little when falsely accused of domestic violence. Watching as mandatory arrest and no-drop prosecution policies implemented to protect victims of domestic abuse were skillfully exploited and manipulated by the mother of my son's young child was staggering.
The hurried decision after being released from the mandatory Metro Jail 12-hour hold to pay legal retainer fee was a novice's mistake. Choosing from a list of private counsel found in the reception area of the Public Defender's Office without researching experience and case results almost jeopardized my rights and freedom. Unlike my accuser, there was no army of advocates waiting to guide me through the process.
Thankfully, I was able to find Mr. Horst's website in my online search for highly-rated experienced criminal trial attorneys. After watching Mr. Horst's video “My Client My Fight”, I knew he was the person for my defense.
The most repeated characteristics of successful criminal defense attorneys mentioned in articles I read online were:
Credibility, Communication Skills, Knowledge, Confidence, Civility, Personal Involvement and Courtroom Demeanor and my addition to the list - Backbone. Mr. Horst possesses them all in spades.
From the beginning, my decision to have the case bound over to Criminal Court was non-negotiable. Many people said to me, "Why not just accept the General Sessions hallway offer of judicial diversion, conviction, 16 week offender program and no jail time just to be done with the stress?"
Mr. Horst said me, "Why?"
Words cannot describe the feeling of waking up the morning after my case was retired. For the first time in almost a year the anxiety and thoughts of an emotional trial were gone.
I am very grateful for Mr. Horst's endless patience, understanding and guidance during the judicial process.
Hopefully, I will not need a criminal trial defense attorney in the future. I would, however, without hesitation, recommend Mr. Horst to anyone facing charges in criminal court.

Sunday is hands down one of the best lawyer I had the privileged of defending me. She was very open with her communication and knowledgable in the criminal defense space. I spoke with many lawyers and after speaking with Sunday, she was the clear choice. All the other lawyers were money hungry and didn't seem to care as much as Sunday did. I was living a nightmare for almost four years. I sold my home and the buyers' attorney fell for a scam e-mail, wiring my mortgage payoff to a fraudulent account at my servicing bank. All of the funds were completely withdrawn from the fraudulent account in a few days. I had no idea that any of this happened until the bank deducted a mortgage payment from my account weeks later. After my real estate attorney discovered what happened, the bank was notified of the fraud and told me not to worry, and that they would freeze the account until the situation was rectified. The buyers' attorney refused to take any responsibility, claimed to be a victim, and never notified the buyers that their home was subject to a lien from an unsettled mortgage. The local police and the FBI were notified and investigated and found that the scammers succeeded in getting the funds overseas. Everyone involved in the transaction denied responsibility and then the bank denied saying that they would freeze the account and referred me to collections, destroying my credit and putting my security clearance and livelihood at risk. I hired Tim and PLG to represent me in this matter, and when the bank refused to even discuss what had happed, he filed a civil suit on my behalf. Tim and PLG were relentless in fighting for me and helping me navigate through dealing with my employer as my clearance was in jeopardy. Were it not for Tim, I would have lost my clearance and my job. Unfortunately, there is little recourse for victims of this type of fraud and it is impossible to fight major banks, insurance companies, and attorneys without having the best on your side. I was lucky to have Tim and PLG on my side and I received a favorable outcome. Tim is passionate about what he does, seeking justice for his clients, fighting for "the little guy"! I hope no one ever has to go through what I did, but if you do, you need Parlatore Law Group in your corner!

I first contacted Ms. Havens after being charged with a violation on a deferred prosecution agreement in 2014. The agreement had been set up by a previous attorney in the summer of 2012, and due to the new charge, he no longer wanted to work with me. After explaining my situation through tears on the phone to Ms. Havens, she asked why my case had not been referred to King County District Court Mental Health Court (KCDC MHC).
It was the first time that I had even heard of the institution, and after a quick Google search, I began to wonder the same thing. I had been diagnosed with an axis 1 mental health disorder in March 2012, and it was the reason that my case was previously granted a deferred prosecution. However, there was no structure to hold me accountable for my own actions besides the occasional probation meeting.
After a consultation at her office in Seattle, my family and I hired Ms. Havens to represent me. She was successful in having the new charge referred to KCDC MHC, where it remained in probation and monitoring until the case was closed in 2017. There were a lot of ups and downs in the case, and Ms. Havens remained on the entire time.
I cannot recommend Ms. Havens enough for anyone seeking criminal defense help. She works tirelessly, and is a fierce advocate for her clients. From the moment she came on board, she made things clear: she would help me, as long as I was willing to help myself.
Ms. Havens made it very clear that this would be my final chance to make things right and really pushed me to be honest in seeking help through psychiatry and therapy. In advocating for me to be a part of the Mental Health Court structure (which was not easy, given the reservations of the other parties involved, and yet she still worked to get me the opportunity), I was given the chance to learn about what true accountability means. The MHC required me to take a rigorous domestic violence intervention program based on my probation officer’s recommendation, to which I was resistant. However, Ms. Havens advocates that people go into situations with open minds and willing to learn. I feel that I matured greatly in my time working with Ms. Havens and really learned from her, and the tools she advocated that I have.
In short, Ms. Havens is highly empathetic, yet provides tough course correcting guidance to her clients. She is intelligent, eloquent, and advocates for people as if they were one of her own. Anyone in a sorry situation would be lucky to have her as their legal defense. I know I was.

Shumika is an amazing attorney. She is not out to do anyone dirty or lie about anything. She was very honest with me and I was with her.
