The estate planning advice from Maria Jonsson was off-the-charts superb in every way. There were significant complications in previous estate documents (established by a different attorney) that Maria Jonsson detected right away and explained with calm clarity, while also enumerating (in language a layperson could easily grasp) the steps to be taken to set things right. In addition, the entire process was completed far more quickly than we could have anticipated. One couldn't ask for a more personable and friendly guide through the thickets of estate law nuances--a realm certainly not for the faint of heart, but one we were able to navigate smoothly under this attorney's expert guidance. Lane & Lane helped me with a prenup and were fantastic. From being upfront about what the costs would include, why not to go with much cheaper, online options, and then the follow-through, I was in good hands the entire time. I reached out to her about my situations and she was rude and unprofessional. I was explaining my situations and once I mention the companies she tried to argue me with PROCEDURES and I stated I know I'm not a professional but I just read laws on contract repudiation/breach, then i was interrupted, she went on more about the procedures then I asked well what about this statute and that one and since when does procedure triumph the law. Being that the loan was sold makes the contract an actual breach, she interrupted and said. Look you called me asking for my help and if you're going to try and tell me how things go and don't want to listen then I may not be the attorney for you and if you're not going to listen I will terminate the call in a very aggressive and annoyed tone, like I was her child. I replied you need to watch your tone and I will find another attorney because you don't even want to hear me out, you keep being rude trying to talk over me and interrupting telling me about the procedures. I'm very aware that loans get sold on the regular but there is still a correct procedure that should be done and the North Carolina General Statutes speaks on them and I can read and comprehend very well. As I was speaking she was interrupting by attempting to speaking over me which annoyed me, like where is the professionalism. And I ended to the call because I let her actions take me out of character. And all I was trying to do was get advice.
Then I get on here and see she has a mediator title as well, now that's hilarious.

Where do I even begin! From the very first phone call/interaction I had with California Lemon Lawyers (who came HIGHLY recommended) I knew I was in the best hands. Julius was very informative, so helpful in getting me divorced. It was quick and easy. If you have limited childcare he does consultations over video chat, and his office is right in town for meetings, to discuss the simplest way to get your needs taken care of. I had been told by other lawyers that the credit card company to whom I owed money "never settles, always sues". Then I found Robert Mouradian here on Avvo. He explained in detail what needed to be done and gave clear, concise answers to my questions, which were many because I have no background in legal matters. He got me a settlement of my debt for 45% less than I owed, and I didn't need to appear in court. He's the best!

Brian Walters is not on your side, nor is he an honorable person. Very dirty tricks. Bait and switch schemes. Majority of his time, he spends funneling people through his podcast. In court, he was completely unprepared. He promised to help me through a jury trial and then backed out not fulfilling his word and tricking me into waiving away my rights to a jury. I don’t think I’ve met a sensible person that actually think divorce courts are fair and honest, and it’s largely because of cowards like Mr Walters.

Quite Frankly, I can't think of a better attorney in the state of New Jersey than Phil Stern. He got my case dismissed against one of the biggest collection Law Firms in the business and a Judge who always seemed to side with the collectors. I thought I hadn't a bats chance in h*ll. I signed on to the suit thinking it was my last hope. I was so happy I framed the dismissal letter. I can't recommend Phil Stern enough!!!!

Gary knows the debt collection industry and how to deal with both the collectors themselves as well as their attorneys and adjuncts. He not only went out of his way to get me the best outcome possible but he tried to figure out all possible ways to make them pay ME for not following the rules and laws concerning debt collection possible.
