I’ve spoke to Dwight now two separate times about two different issues I was having and he was able to help me out with both!! He doesn’t charge you hundreds of dollars just so you can ask a few questions. He actually listens to what’s you’re going through and lets you know if he can or cannot help you out. He’s knowledgeable. He’s honest and fair and lets you know if something is going to be a waste of time, for you or him. He doesn’t sugar coat things, he tells you how it is. At the end of the day, if you NEED someone to represent you, Dwight will be there!! Now keep in mind, you get what you pay for so, if it’s important to you, it’s important to him but Obvi, it’s going to come with a cost. Just like ANYTHING worth having!!!

I did not hire Mr. Orr due to extreme financial difficulty. However, after completing a free consultation with him and explaining my situation, he walked me through how to ask the court for more time to respond to the lawsuit filed against me anyway. When I contacted him again a few weeks later he also walked me through how to actually respond to the lawsuit and how to handle it myself so that I can stand a chance fighting it even though I could not afford an attorney. He beats the bad stereotypes that people have about lawyers. Thank you Mr. Orr for everything you truly saved me!

I will keep it short and sweet. Ofir impressed me from the get-go and continued to up until the end and it wasn't like he was the first person I called; I initially reached out to maybe ten local attorneys on this matter while doing market research. He was easy to talk with, not slimy, didn't have an attitude nor was he condescending (unlike many of his peers), no hidden fees, and always quick to respond / highly communicative which equally is a rarity among lawyers of any sort. For me, I think critically evaluating Google reviews of any business, service, etc — myself & my own business included — a lifeskill.
I am a big fan of basic respect, clear communication, & thorough professionalism. I myself make mistakes; I own them, 200%, made knowingly or unknowingly.
Some of Arpita Legha’s practices on the “uncontested legal separation” I initiated did not sit well at all with me OR with my former legal spouse either.
I tried to see all angles of Arpita’s actions & manners — very often extending benefit of doubt for her choices. I reasonably participated in how Arpita went about things. Then, I chose to take pauses as I needed from her obvious unprofessional (sometimes inhumane) behaviors.
My feedback for Arpita & the Oxner Legha Law Firm:
• I found Arpita’s conduct unprofessional on several occasions & accounts.
• Arpita laughingly mentioned a client’s identifiable name & case info — in front of them — with me present — on my 1st call with her & Madeline. I did not find it funny at all. Neither did the other client.
• I felt pressured by Arpita for my time, responses, & outcomes way too many times to count while conducting my paid services.
I liken her toxic behaviors to that of an alligator.
If I initiate a process — as humanly & professionally possible, shouldn’t I reasonably decide the pace of my OWN case — under the guidance of the “professional” I hired???
• I communicated in writing about my life-threatening documented illness & how I needed time (which was provided to me first), then it went back to the same pushiness for possibly meeting the firm’s targets, Arpita’s schedule, the court’s schedule, whatever else, etc.
It was literally sickening for me, at times, to deal with Arpita’s behaviors — despite making my voice heard in writing & by my actions.
• Once, over phone, after listening to how the situation was evolving, Arpita mentioned an additional service I needed — communicating very clearly to me over phone that she’d include that service under my retainer.
When I put that service in writing over email, it appeared Arpita’s language changed. Arpita went back on her word.
I found myself with an additional bill, albeit some deducted off at the conclusion of my services. A sales & an I’m-sorry tactic, if I may?
• At the end of my services, I still did not get a breather. I noticed Arpita’s calls & emails, pushing for rapid responses within 24-48 hours each time.
I think I am a pretty responsible grown up who paid upfront for (un)professional services.
I believe I am aware of exactly how things work & when, for whom. Especially through my experience with Arpita & her firm.
I kindly asked questions & kindly responded to those asked of me. I believe my former legal spouse chose to behave the same as well. How would I know? It was in writing.
I am not sure what Arpita’s main issue was — maybe my former legal spouse & I never reached the “contested” stage?
I believe in decent trust between client & service provider.
At the end, I relied on email alone with Arpita because I was tired of keeping up with her calls. Why? I found it hard to trust her word.
• In the end, after I completed my items — rather than own up to her chosen behaviors & style, I found Arpita did not close my case hospitably at all. It appears I was literally dismissed with an attitude.
• I am unaware of what Arpita’s deeper personal or professional issues may or may not be. I do not desire to know.
I wish I could speak about the positives. I wish I could share those things that stood out to me.
Unfortunately, the areas for improvement weigh heavily on my experience with Arpita & her firm. I neither recommend Arpita Legha’s services nor the Oxner Legha Law Firm.
I find basic professionalism & hospitality priceless. I believe no matter how much I pay, the 2 may or may not be guaranteed anywhere.
My experiences with Arpita Legha & through her, the Oxner Legha Law Firm, was one such stark example of that. For both my former legal spouse & I.

Nothing has been done on my case for over a year, and the dude still held on to my balance and refused to give me a final invoice, adding to the emotional stress. I cannot get another lawyer until I am cleared from him financially. But he won't give me a final invoice and the balance so I can move forward. How are these things right?. Sanaz has a good team and thorough system to ensure your bankruptcy gets finalized.
I am self employed, my case was more in depth.
I interviewed several attorneys in San Diego and LA area and they were suggesting Chapter 13 and avoiding chapter 7 because of my equity in my home, they said I was limited on exemptions ie and my vehicle and personal property were at risk!
Sanaz is very creative with creating and interpreting exemptions that the other attorneys NEVER mentioned and or understood, interpreting exemptions is very important, ie “Commercial Work Vehicle” (Truck) verses “vehicle”, that changed the game, the trustee wanted more money for my work truck and was also trying me on personal property and Sanaz put them in check!
She got my Chapter 7 discharged, I kept my condo equity, I owed nothing for my commercial work truck and personal items.
The other attorneys I interviewed were ok with having me agree to make an uncomfortable stressful payment plan to make it easy for them to file chapter 13….
Sanaz and her team tolerated all my calls and emails = STRESS and got me through it.
Sanaz and her team are the ones you want to represent you!!! Worth every dollar!!!

It is hard to overstate how positive my family’s two experiences with Atty. Asaf Sarno have been. If one were to sit down and describe the qualities of a great criminal defense attorney, you would describe Atty. Sarno.
In the first case, a close family member with substance use issues was already on probation for non-violent related offenses when he re-offended. His case was referred to Superior Court where he was indicted and faced up to 5 years in a state penitentiary. He even failed to appear for a hearing. Fortunately, Asaf was available to take the case. Asaf deftly took advantage of errors and weaknesses in the state’s case. He also researched the sentencing history for similar cases, including that of the assigned judge. He also employed a PI to obtain relevant info to bolster the case. Although the DA’s office refused to make an acceptable plea deal, Asaf was confident that the case would resolve acceptably. In the end, the accused received extended probation – far better than jail time.
At all times, Asaf remained positive and optimistic. With his client’s permission, he kept us family in the loop so that we could be appropriately supportive. (We also attended every court appearance which Asaf assured us was very helpful.)
Meanwhile, another case (i.e. a different non-violent offense while under the influence) had been simmering for 2 ½ years. The original defense lawyer had assumed it would settle quickly. However, the prosecution again would not agree to an acceptable plea deal. It was apparent that the case would go to trial. It felt like a lost cause. My family member decided to get a 2nd opinion from Atty. Sarno. He instantly greeted us with positive energy and enthusiasm even before we explained the reason for calling him. We agreed to pay his reasonable fee to review the case. No guarantees but based on Asaf’s thorough review he presented three distinct approaches to the defense. Based on this and the prior experience with Asaf, he was hired to take over the case.
Attorney Sarno worked hard on this case, appropriately hiring a PI and a forensic psychologist to bolster the defense. Importantly, Asaf ALWAYS returned calls and emails in a timely manner – typically within 24 hours, even when he was in court on another trial. Also with his guidance, we solicited letters of support from family members, former counselors, etc.. All this led to being as prepared as possible for the trial. Asaf made a vigorous defense, for which he was congratulated by the judge! In the end, my family member was given probation with some strict but reasonable conditions – much better than the what the state had previously insisted on. Now my family member has a reasonable shot at wellness because staying in a treatment program is now possible.
There are many factors that play into the outcome of a criminal trial – the strength of the evidence, the skill and determination of the prosecution, the judge assigned, the defendant’s history, and the degree of support by family and friends. But certainly, a HUGE factor is the SKILL, DETERMINATION, POSITIVE DEMEANOR, and WORK ETHIC of the defense counsel. Asaf brings all of those qualities to his work – to an EXCEPTIONALLY high degree! Moreover, Atty. Asaf Sarno’s enthusiasm for his profession and dedication to his clients are what make him a head-and-shoulders standout in the criminal defense bar.
I hope you never need the criminal defense skills of Attorney Asaf Sarno, but if you’re reading this there’s a good chance you do. My advice: HIRE HIM!

I have nothing but good things to say about Attorney Sarno. I was charged with multiple counts of possession of a large capacity firearm without a FID card, facing up to 10 years in prison on each count, and Attorney Sarno was able to negotiate a custodial sentence of only 15 months (after the prosecutor pushed the court for 2x that amount) and three years' probation.
