I had the opportunity to be represented by Mariah and she is by far the most responsive attorney. I had several questions for her throughout my case and she always gave me answers usually within a few hours. I have never really required a lawyer in my life, but she has made the experience very comfortable and easy. Clear and direct communication is a must and Mr. Honeycutt delivered. If you find yourself needing an attorney I highly recommend Mr. Honeycutt. Shah Peerally is the best Immigration Lawyer, according to my experience. He is not only extremely professional and attentive, but also knows exactly how to help you, whatever is your immigration case. Before meeting him, I visited multiple attorney firms and immigration lawyers, and they all rejected to represent me, arguing that my case was "too complicated," "impossible to achieve", or because they lacked immigration experience or knowledge on cases like mine. I paid many consultations only to be told that they couldn't help me. Attorney Shah took my case and helped me get my Green card. I had a relatively unique case that many other immigration lawyers were unsure about.Since my first consultation with him, he was extremely honest, and instead of rejecting me like all other lawyers or giving me false hopes, he clearly stated that it would be difficult, yet not impossible, and said it was worth trying. He was very specific and clear about the procedure and all the possible outcomes, and explained with exhaustive detail every possible scenario. He immediately inspired me great trust, and in the end we have our Green cards! I called to just get generic information such as pricing on filing he proceeded to ask me personal information so he could put it at his computer when I didn't want to give him my information I told him I just needed to know pricing he rudely responded with I'm not going to answer a bunch of questions for you with nothing and no money down!! So just know when you get that type of response before even getting into anything personal or financial he shows how rude he is and money hungry before he even obtains you as a client!! Little advice you should be more kind to people that are calling to possibly be a future client how do you know that I wasn't going to choose you after you gave me a quote and a price? Very rude!!!

After speaking with him on the phone in my mind he was already hired. He took time to answer my questions before I actually met him for a consultation. You will never talk to a receptionist, secretary or legal assistant when you call his office. He will always pick up the phone so there is no waiting for a return call which is priceless because you are already stressed. He is very professional and handles things when you hang up. Four years ago, I hired Valder Zankov and paid him in full for representing me in establishing a parenting plan and changing my son's last name. Fast forward to 2024, we finally reached court, but unfortunately, I lost the case. It's important to note that I have no criminal background and have consistently paid child support on time since my son's birth. Surprisingly, Mr. Zankov informed me that I would need to explain to the judge myself why I wanted my son to have my last name, as he seemed hesitant to convey this to the court as my representative.
It’s perplexing how Attorney Valder Zankov could lose such a straightforward case, given the overwhelming convention of children inheriting their father’s last name. This outcome raises concerns about the efficacy of his representation and potentially calls into question the handling of other cases as simple as these.

Absolutely amazing, A+! Peter Carini is the first and only attorney I've ever contacted who actually answered his own phone - immediately, on a Sunday. As a paralegal, I can't even begin to tell you how rare that is! I was fully expecting to reach his office voicemail and maybe (probably never) get a call back from his receptionist to schedule a paid consultation the following week.
Except Peter not only answered what must have been his cell phone (unless he was in the office working on a Sunday!), he listened to me without interruption and offered consice insight into my civil legal matter based on his experience and knowledge of the legal process. (Note: This is not the same as legal advice and does not constitute an attorney-client relationship. That's my FYI, not his.) He was totally straightforward as to whether it would be worth my while to hire him and explained how I could instead advocate for myself.
Peter is an exceptionally honest and decent human being, and I am so thankful he answered my call. After speaking to him for 7.5 minutes, I felt hopeful again about a situation that was intimidating and seemingly hopeless. I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you, Peter!

They do not care if you know about a upcoming court date or not. They will randomly send an email out but in my case never got it. Got court documents from another client as well as documents stating I missed court date which is really not good. Checked with office staff and she said they have been having problems with the system, hmmm. So now chances of me getting more time with my child have greatly be compromised. You are just a number push here.

Worked with Brian Thompto as an attorney to file my Green card and he was so unreponsive, careless, rude and never ever replied back to my emails neither calls. Wasted my 15 months for PWD and PERm and end result is it got denied because of his mistake to not including my skills in ETA-9089 besides providing him all the details. Even after it got denied, he seems like nothing happened and jeopardizing my future and now i am left with no option else than leaving US as my time is getting closer. I would definitely not recommend him and I still can't believe that i am not the first person to give this type of review but still he is serving in this organization. Seems like all Attorneys here are like same where no one care about their clients. If you wish to waste your time and money, please hire from here.

Charles handled our bankruptcy in 2019. We were told that we could reaffirm our mortgage which we had never missed a payment on , and still have not. When we went to refinance this year we discovered he had never filed the reaffirmation paperwork he had said he would. He had assured us that while everything had to be incorporated in the bankruptcy that that would be reaffirmed as would our car loan that was also current. However, he sent someone in his stead to court and apparently left it up to that person to file the paperwork?
I have tried contacting him several times and have received no response. He only responded to one text saying that “judges don’t reaffirm real property.” I’m not even sure what that means, but that was NEVER part of the conversation we had before. He had assured us that it would be reaffirmed. Otherwise, we would never have gone this route. The fact that he has not returned three emails to help us address this with our mortgage company, four years later leads to my frustration. It does not show any of our payments for the last four years to the credit bureau! And we are stuck on how to reaffirm our mortgage. Very frustrating! I would not recommend going to this lawyer. We were handed off and the paperwork not properly filed and now no response at our request for help.

I hired this guy to take a case for me. I would be inconvenienced because rarely did he ever show up to court dates. However, he told me the judge would agree that I do a 8 month stretch in county jail and the case would be over.. Well once I hit my 8 month mark I was not presented to court. I called John numerous times and he would not return my calls or come visit me to tell me what was going on. 2 months later I was then produced to court after a total of 10 months was spent in jail, only for him to tell me.. "Now you have to do 5yrs probation". This was not the deal of course. I felt rail roaded. I was lied to, and swindled out of money. John works in a very unprofessional manner. I recommend you look elsewhere for competent council.

I picked her based on the reviews, but If I could redo this process, I certainly would and wouldn't choose this attorney for something this important and life-altering. She was evasive, not very informative, and since working with her, I am no more informed than I was prior to hiring Deborah. She rarely responds to correspondences too, even with the various modes of communication these days. There seemed to be a correlation between the timeliness of her responses versus getting payment. After receiving payment, she was difficult to make contact with. I regret hiring her for something so important.
