An Exceptional firm. My attorney was Kevin Marcilliat and he along with his colleagues didn't just treat me as a paid client, they treated me like family. If you’ve ever had any experience with getting arrested, spending time in jail till a judge hears your case and allows you to leave, following up with further court dates, as well as the implications of all these occurrences - it can be incredibly overwhelming and rather difficult to keep a straight head throughout.
That is ofcourse NOT the case if you’re able and/or fortunate enough to find yourself a lawyer who genuinely gives a damn about what might happen to you - and legitimately knows her way around the court room & the legal system.
And so, try as I may - but I simply struggle to adequately express how immensely grateful I am to Serena Townsend for how swift, professional, honest, and KIND she was with me throughout the entirety of my case.
I often would display very palpable stress in the face of this ordeal - but she kept me on the straight, and was very patient with me when she had plenty of reason not to necessarily be so patient…

We used Jodi for a real estate purchase in the Miami area in 2023.
On the pro side, she seemed nice, experienced, and competent, and ultimately got our deal over the finish line.
On the other hand, there were several things we did not like about working with her:
* We did not sign an engagement letter...
* So it wasn't clear if she was representing us or herself or the State of Florida
* Though her fees ultimately were reasonable, they were not clear.
* Jodi was often hard to reach and I was left frustrated by her lack of responsiveness.
* We felt unprepared at the closing table and was presented with documents to sign and settlement numbers to approve that I hadn't seen previously and didn't have time to check.
* We tried reaching with a few post-closing questions, but she was unresponsive.
It wasn't a horrible experience, but it wasn't a great one either.

I had a very disappointing experience with Yazdani Law, LLC, Columbus, OH. Despite paying for their services in full, they mishandled my case by submitting incorrect documentation, leading to delays and unnecessary stress during the visa process. To make matters worse, they demanded extra money beyond the agreed-upon contract amount, claiming it was for unforeseen circumstances—issues that should have been anticipated with proper diligence.
Their lack of accountability and professionalism was evident throughout. They acted as if they were providing a free service, despite the significant fees I paid. Instead of acknowledging their errors, they attempted to mask their mistakes by blaming and suppressing.
I do not recommend this lawyer or firm to anyone seeking reliable immigration assistance.

Stay away from this firm. They are very nice in the beginning however, they treat you poorly once you become a client. I was a client on a bankruptcy and I would ask questions while I was in this case to ensure I was missing anything. Every time I asked a question it became a battle with this attorney. He is very rude and arrogant. He belittles his clients and basically make you feels worse about the situation you are in. Stay away there are several reputable and respectful bankruptcy attorneys in the Chicagoland area.

Hiring a New York attorney can be a nerve wracking process. If you are like me, you first have to endlessly interview attorneys to find one that is even willing to undertake your matter if its not worth millions. Then, after you finally find the willing few, you select the one you are most comfortable with and hope for the best. Fortunately for me, this time around, I came across Mary Madeline Roberts. Right off the bat, I had a great feeling with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and versed in contractual matters and guided me every step of the way through the entire process. She raised extremely important issues that I would never have considered had I proceeded by myself and has already saved me more time and money than I can relate. Also, she was very generous with her time and spent a lot of time with me upfront getting to know me and learn about my needs before I even retained her. Most of all, she never nickle and dimmed me, charging me for every little thing along the way in order to pump up my fees. This is a rarity that I really really appreciated about her and unheard of in New York in my experience. There are so many firms out there that really take advantage of the little guy and I can tell you the Ms. Roberts is NOT one of them..... I highly recommend Ms Roberts to anyone with a contract dispute or who needs a great attorney who is highly competent, effective , gives you a great over all feeling and who treats you very fairly at the end of the day. Wagner, Falconer and Judd, Ltd. helped me very much in my recent case of an unjust terminatinatiin with a company I had been with for almost 2 years. During that same period of time, I saw 7 different score managers come and go with only one if them having effective management skills because he had 21 years experience with the company and was a very effective manager. The large corporation I was a part of had been experiencing tgevresult if the high management turnover and had recently let 400 people go on division and corporate positions. I have been a client with Panda Law Firm for 9 months. I hired Panda LF to represent me in Debt Settlement. I spoke with Mr. X Peters (the boss) a couple of times. Mr. x really is the nicest guy. I had very negative experiences using this firm. I had a very straightforward case that this firm had for several years. They neglected to move my case forward and kept assigning me to new associates until finally after like 20k in legal fees they sent me a letter saying they wouldn’t represent me anymore because their associate was leaving their firm. I found a new attorney that had my case settled in a matter of a couple months for a fraction of the cost. My new attorney couldn’t believe how poorly my case was handled. If you like paying bills and seeing your case go nowhere then you’ve found a great fit. If that’s not your thing keep looking.

I have worked with David since April of 2014 on a erroneous creditor collection that was destroying my credit. David helped me fight this major credit card company that "over reacted" to the collection mistake on my credit. In the 30 days it took to dispute the collection error of $100, the major credit card dropped my credit line, charged me insane interest rates and just like a game of domino's red flagged all my other credit cards to panic and do the same. I of course hired David and step by step he gave me the tools I needed to not only fight it but counter sue. It took 2 years of playing their game but in the end it was all worth it! I can't thank David enough and would and have referred to everyone I know, including family members.
