I'm a person who puts things off... especially when it's dealing with troubling issues. I tend to ignore them until I simply can't anymore. On the Friday before a court filing due the next Monday, I contacted James Cerbone's law office after finally opening a piece of mail I had received from them the week before - remember the part about putting things off? Cindy returned my messaged call within the hour, and arranged to stay late so that I could come in and sign the paperwork. The price was fair and everything settled to my satisfaction. (It was a case involving old debt). Cindy was not only understanding, but friendly and personable - my only regret is that I didn't contact her sooner!

They know nothing about communication. I had to reach out to them all the time, they only called me once or twice. They did little to "keep me in the loop". 8 out of 10 conversations were initiated by me. I did get the results I wanted but it was like pulling teeth and took a few months longer than anticipated. Little to no communication from them to me.

I knew my son was facing a very serious charge, I paid 20,000 for representation that I feel a public defender could have done. I felt like he absolutely did not fight for my son at all, whatever the prosecutor said , is what it was. My son has never been in any type of trouble, and any time I would mention anything with his case that I looked up on my own he would say oh that doesn’t apply to his case. My son was never showed any evidence that they supposedly had against him. Communication with the attorney was not the best, he would respond when it was convenient. I was told after the case was over, if you ever have any questions feel free to reach out, I did and never heard back from him. I guess after getting his money, his job was done…. Don’t say reach out with questions if you know you’re not going to keep your word. He had me believing the whole time he would do all he could to help my son, he still got screwed in the end.

We interviewed many attorneys looking for someone to handle our bankruptcy. We are self-employed and in interviewing the other attorneys we received quotes from $10,000 to $50,000 because of the complexity. Larry was absolutely amazing for a few thousand, he was fast, efficient, and he answered all our questions and phone calls.
Now 4 years after our bankruptcy, we found liens on our title and Larry is once again handling our case, and removing these old judgment liens. I can't recommend him strongly enough.

This group advocated for a greedy landlord who stole our last month rent and security deposit and tried to sue us for 20k for damages due to the property maintenance negligence from pipes bursting. When it was found out the landlord was double dipping from the insurance the judge ruled in our favor. By that time, we spent thousands of dollars defending ourselves against Ernie and the landlord. All for nothing. I get that this is a business but lawyers need to understand you hurt good honest folk when you defend liars and scammers.

I was referred to James Tschudy by a trusted coworker after experiencing a flood in my apartment that left me liable for tens of thousands of dollars. I was receiving letters demanding immediate payment and didn't know what to do.
James offered immediate, complimentary consultation and quickly addressed my fears and concerns, and gave me very specific advice on what was important and how to proceed. He was non-judgmental and easy to talk to. Eventually bankruptcy was decided upon as the best course of action, and he handled all complications easily and professionally. I never felt pressured to move in one direction or another. The case is now fully resolved with no loose ends as of two months ago. I couldn't be happier.

We were trying to sell our house Buy Owner. We had been through 3 different contracts when we decided we would obtain a lawyer to help us with the sale of our home. We have always sought out referrals from friends, co-workers, and Angies list when needing help. Since no one we knew had any suggestions we Googled a Real Estate Attorney in Coral Springs. Several names were generated and referred to an Avvo rating. Andrew Garofalo's rating was high and we called him. He was not available but called us back in a short time. We liked the introductory phone call and decided to choose him to help us in our process. We are so happy that we did!
Andrew helped us every step of the way! This was the first house we ever sold and knew only what we read on the internet. He was professional from the beginning. He instructed and suggested what we needed to do . He was quick to begin with the necessary documents and remained knowledgeable, efficient and precise with all the forms to the close. He kept us fully apprised of all correspondence that he sent out, on our behalf, and all correspondence that he received. He promptly responded to emails and the numerous questions that we had. He intervened on our behalf so we did not have to deal with the buyer, the buyers realtor and title company....which was great! He was efficient, knowledgeable, and meticulous with all the documents to the very end. In meeting with him personally, for the closing, he was pleasant, polite and courteous. Andrew is very Knowledgeable and Professional and will always take time to explain if and when it is needed. He will of course give you all the Legal reasons but when asked give his educated opinion as well. Andrew was also very "Reachable". If he was not immediatley available he would call back quickly.
From dealing with Attorneys previously, I found Andrews fees to be fair. I have delt with lawyers who (Very obviously) just wanted to strech out my time and bill more hours and consequently MORE Money.
Andrew is clearly not that way. He seems to actually care about you and truly wants the best outcome for you.
I have found him to be Smart, Honest and actually a Good Guy. I Trust his advice.
Andrew helped me with a Forclosure and Bank Re-financing. He negotiated dates and mortgage issues with Bank of America in less than a month. I had previously TRIED to work with B of A for about 2 years with NO help from them at all. (Just Headaches.)
I would absolutey (and already have) refer Andrew to my friends and Family.

Divorce isn't easy, for anyone. However, if one is in the situation, I highly recommend Russell Knight. Russell and his team was world class and top shelf. In my case I was the respondent to a divorce I didn't want, but nonetheless, Russell's team walked me through the process and was a fierce but kind advocate for me. I could write a short novel about the experience, but I'll spare you the time. With that said, the firm walked me through all the details, reviewed all documents in detail and listened to me; and that was key, they listened. There's an old saying, "Nobody likes a lawyer, until you need one". Well? If and when you need counsel, Russell and his team, as I mentioned above, are highly qualified. This is basically a scam for anybody looking for real help with student loans. No one answered the first time I called the meet webcall, the second time it stopped working, they were supposed to just call me if it wasn't working, 15 mins later and four we call tries later the link finally worked, he said no one had called him (soooo you should be calling me for $200). He literally said where would you like to start even though I had given a detailed description of my situation and then when I said I wasn't sure he asked me WHAT MY FEARS WERE. This isn't therapy why don't you tell me what my options are. He basically kept putting everything on me instead of just saying I've reviewed your situation these are your options. He said repeatedly "it won't be the outcome you desire" "you'll have to put in the work". He did mention that Navient has a private loan forgiveness program but upon researching that very few loans have been forgiven. I brought up missing payment history and had to bring it up repeatedly to get him to speak about it. I had to ask him what if I sue them independently for predatory practices, basically again" it won't be the outcome you desire", like did I just pay $200 for a magic 8 ball?
I should have known better when there wasn't a contact form, that he goes straight to pay me $200 (to tell you good luck so sad)
BEST PART at the end of the what 12 min phone call he actually said to me it's nice to see another person with eye bags, I said yeah I have thyroid eye disease. Like seriously do not give this guy your money call someone else. I want my money back so I can call a different lawyer.

Jason Hagelthorn helped me with setting up my new business. He took all of the stress out from under me and my partner. The team at Cary Estate Planning has been wonderful from our first interaction through the close of the estate they were supporting me with this past year. They carefully helped me understand what they do, pricing, how the estate would be handled, and what I needed to do in a clear and caring manner. During the period of the estate they had a staffing change but handled the transition so smoothly it was easy to pick up with the new team member and keep things moving forward. They were always available with help, support and answers to my questions.
