I used this firm a while ago for a car wreck and thet got me a great settlement. Recently I used them for a neck injury and they got me 1/10 of what I should have got. I was extremely disappointed and upset. I had to call numerous times to remind them I was a client and was waiting. I talked to some other firms after I received my settlement and they told me they could have gotten me a lot more money. I would rather use Edgar Snyder than these guys again what an insult the amount of money I got for a neck injury. These guys are a joke now.

I was hit by a car on November 16, 2023, and it’s been a long road to recovery. Through a friend, I was recommended to Brendan Lupetin, Greg Unatin, and their associate Garrett Trettel. They were there for me every step of the way, guiding me when I didn’t know what to do and answering my questions pretty much anytime—day or night. They worked hard to get me the best results possible and even reduced some of their fees to help me. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

3 years ago my son and I were involved in a car accident. My son’s grandfather referred me to Lupetin & Unatin for representation for the accident. His referral came highly regarded due to him having a case where he was sued Duquesne Light for damages to his property and he won. So needless to say, I went with his recommendation.
Regarding my own case, the representation I received from Lupetin & Unatin was superb. I filed my lawsuit at the beginning of 2022 and they diligently gathered all the information needed to settle the case for me and my son. It took some time, but the end of 2024, they were able to get us a reasonable settlement and they only charged 25%. Garrett Trettel was representing us and he treated our case with the utmost importance and urgency, being very transparent of the necessary steps that had to be taken along the way in order for us to cross the finish line.
I can honestly say I am pleased and satisfied with the service I received from this law firm. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Run. I didn't even begin to give my background information before Emily repeatedly interrupted me telling me that we did not have a case. Mind you, this was before I even finished explaining the first situation. She even told me that when I was in the hospital and my husband was forced to WORK ON HIS DAY OFF, that he should have used FMLA? Is this lady crazy? I've been told today by several other lawyers that my husband had a solid case but they did not want to take it until he was illegally terminated, as there they would not make enough money out of it to be worth it. Emily Lewis interrupted me multiple times while on a call less than 4 minutes long. If you can't listen to the facts, how can you say my husband doesn't have a case? She would not even let me finish the first instance and there are dozens that are well documented. The company my husband works for even illegally withheld a portion of his first paycheck when he is under contract and is SALARIED. They still have that money! Explain how that is legal, Emily.

This place is scandalous. I called to merely get information. I was transferred to a female lawyer who told me to tell her about my case. She didn’t even let me finish before she cut me off to say they won’t take the case. She also confirmed they handle little to no malpractice cases so I asked why they appear at the top when searching malpractice lawyers. I told her, if you don’t handle malpractice then that is misrepresentation of services. She really got upset and hung up on me for merely making a comment.
She also confirmed they only take cases where they KNOW a settlement is coming.
I’m more concerned with the level of disrespect from this office. Even their receptionist was ignorant. What kind of law office is rude to people?
Lawyers are NOT allowed to misrepresent their services or mislead people in any way. Those google results are more than misleading, it says ‘we handle these type of cases’ when I’m reality they do not. As a software developer myself I know this was done on purpose. I know exactly what is needed to appear in google search results. They would not appear in malpractice results if they did not put it in their title or headers on their pages. They clearly have malpractice somewhere with in their website either in a title element or headers. Google literally scrapes the pages for such data lol.

Carl Mueller was excellent. He stood up to the work comp insurance and got both surgeries I needed. I was always able to contact him with questions or problems that had arisen any time during the 2 years. He fought and and I received the monetary damages I deserved. I would recommend Edelman & Thompson to anyone.

I hired Vincent based on good reviews and a referral from a friend. His rate seemed reasonable, so I decided to work with him. Our initial conversation was smooth, although brief, and I felt confident moving forward. I paid the retainer on 8/17, and he promptly filed the initial form on 8/19. When he informed me that papers were served on 8/27 and the respondent had 30 days to respond, I thought things were progressing well.
However, my positive impression quickly faded. I followed up with him on 9/11 and 9/18 without any response. He finally called on 9/19, four hours late, and reassured me that “everything was fine.” When I questioned why he hadn’t filed the proof of service of summons, he brushed it off, saying it wasn’t necessary to file it right away and would handle it later. He advised waiting until mid-October, to which I agreed.
From there, communication became nonexistent. I followed up on 10/14 with no reply and reached out again on 10/24, 10/25, and 10/28—still nothing. Aside from filing the initial paper with the court, he has done absolutely nothing further on my case. When I contacted the courthouse myself, I learned that my case had been left completely unattended, with the court even requesting a status update due to inactivity.
Vincent’s behavior was not only unresponsive but also unprofessional at every turn. Missing scheduled calls, failing to provide updates, and ignoring my questions demonstrated a lack of respect for my time and trust. He even used a personal “gmail.com” email account instead of a professional one, which, looking back, was an early red flag. His entire approach felt more like a one-man show than a legitimate law firm.
Vincent comes off as convincing and charming on the phone (when you can reach him), but if you’re looking for someone who will swiftly take a retainer, make empty promises, and waste your time, he’s your guy. I wasted two months trusting that he was working on my case while, in reality, he had abandoned it. Now I’m forced to dismiss the case he filed and start over—an unfortunate setback given the lengthy court process.
Please beware of Vincent when choosing a lawyer to represent your case. His unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and disregard for his clients’ time make him a poor choice if you need real legal representation.

Better than what we anticipated from a typical attorneys! We hired an Attorney from Rivers Law Firm for helping to deal with the school district regarding placement of our son's NPS/school. We tried tirelessly to communicate to the district to get the help but nothing seemed to be working. District not intend to respond to us for nine months long upon our emails and from our last iep signatures, To come up with the solutions. It pushed us to seek help using an attorney. With The help of the attorney: The district finally responded and we have the school we want and the transition has taken place and the placement process went smoothly. We also got settled with an agreement for the Compensatory Education for our son entitled services that had been lost.
But the details to the Question is why did we move forward with Rivers Law Firm? The answer: It is based on Clients' Experiences pre contract agreement. It is important for us to decide if we like to proceed to hire that attorney or otherwise. It is true as a matter of fact: We need professional help and they can be the hero to our issue. But without our decision to move forward, most likely there won't be a business happening. So based on that we share here what we found as client's of Rivers Law Firm and who represent us:

She's profesional, has long knowledge and experience in special education law and To our Surprise: she actually has a kind and patient heart, even by the time we met her for a consultation, She was in condition of post leg surgery but she still had met us for the scheduled session. We got sued for adverse possession and easement rights on or lake property. Adam took the case 4 years ago. Just before the pretrial he bailed out. We now have to find a replacement in a very short time and for an extremely high cost. He left us in a very bad situation. I don't believe he felt comfortable about litigation. His specialty seems to be land lord/ tenant issues. I believe he was out of his league taking our case.

In 2019 I had a very tough immigration case and I hired another law firm and it didn’t go well, I spend more than 3k and finally my case got denied due to the lawyer’s irresponsible action. A few months later a friends of mine suggested to contact Amsale’s law firm. She was very kind, positive , thoughtful and a good listener. She listened the entire issue with the previous law firm, and what surprised me was her focus to resolve the problem instead of nailing down.
After a brief discussion and consultation, I hired her to represent me the same case which I got denied previously.
It took her shorter time comparing with the previous lawyer and successfully won my case. Not only that, through the entire process of my case with Amsale I was getting an update based on the information timeframe of each steps from immigration office.
The best part of her consultation, if she thinks your case doesn’t worse to continue, she doesn’t wanna waste your money! This is how she does business !

I had a truly excellent experience working with Kyle Smith and the team at Statera Law on my recent home purchase. My initial impression of Kathleen was very positive—she came across as competent, driven, and solution-oriented. I spent months organizing and sourcing all my court paperwork at her request, which was the hard part of the process. However, once I completed this, the experience went downhill quickly.
Her 'team' began giving me the runaround. I reached out over six times to get an appointment, and they canceled multiple times. Despite this, I gave grace, trusting my first impression of Kathleen. After yet another cancellation, they said I would have to wait until the new year to be seen. I requested a date for 2025, booked months in advance, but the appointment came and went without any communication from her office.
I reached out to express my disappointment over the wasted months of effort on a sensitive case not to mention the $800 consult fee, urging Kathleen to do better. Her response was dismissive—claiming her staff said I had new representation (which is false) and that she is not taking 'new' clients. There was not even an apology for the months of wasted time, lack of communication, or the sheer number of follow-ups I had to initiate.
This was a deeply disappointing experience, marked by unprofessionalism and poor taste. I cannot recommend Kathleen based on my experience.

If MRM has been practicing 35 years we were her among her early clients. She was amazing the and still is. I have not needed an attorney much since 1981 but when I have she is the best advisor. Never has forced a litigation on any. She did took my husband I through the end of a horrid family court matter that had taken on a life of its own even after remarriages . Former attorneys had settled nothing to the satisfaction of any party, including new husband or new wife. We did prevail on a permanent maintenance beyond remarriage of the recipient or payment of attorney fees by husband. She took it to appeals and won on both. She did not further damage the already fragile relationship between divorced parents of a fragile preteen in the process. Time passes we are grandparents, everyone is the exact same personality as they were in then. She worked hard for us in an area of law that is not her specialty but she has left her mark with these appeals and by assuring we newly weds had a chance at making a marriage and eventual family find peace.
