I needed an attorney with elder law and estate planning to prepare multiple documents for a Trust, POA, will, etc. He fully explained all pros/cons with each segment, adjusted all documents as needed, made all necessary contacts with other involved people. We were seeking an attorney to assist us with the unexpected task of Guardianship for our daughter nearing eighteen. A rare genetic disorder resulted in some mild intellectual disabilities for our daughter and forced us to seek protection for us in her affairs. We were clueless on the impacts and requirements not to mention quite emotional about the process. Carla kindly guided us through our options and made recommendations to fit our situation. I attended one of PWW's free seminar's in Lewes years ago and felt so comfortable with their presentation where they shared great information without 'selling'. We hired Amber and her team to correct and update Moms estate/trust documents (a different firm prepared these docs and they weren't prepared correctly). Amber took the time to explain herself to my aging Mom and me using her 'buckets' drawing which were very easy to understand. The entire PWW team are amazing! We first hired Amber to help with my father-in-law's estate. She was exceptionally patient with us as we all embarked on a new journey, as was her entire staff. I reached out to Zach who was Reccomnded though someone at Harvard law criminal justice department.
I spoke to several other attorneys as well as Zach. Zach stands out compared to the 4 other attorneys I had consultations with.
I called and he got back to me within the hour. I had a phone consultation with him about my case.
He went above and beyond with out being asked.
In our consult, and for several days following Zach continued to give me information I had never been presented before that could be the difference between winning and losing a case. This is all based on Zach’s experience, knowledge and research. He took the time and went far beyond the expectations of a consultation.
He presented it from both sides and was able to play devils advocate well.
Alone on his consult, I would highly Reccomnded Zach. There are many attorneys out there but there are few that put in the time and effort as Zach does.

During the early 1990’s my father-in-law called a family meeting to discuss which of his four children would serve as his executor and exercise his power of attorney. My wife was selected by all to have this duty. My father-in-law read the San Antonio Express-News cover to cover on a daily basis and really appreciated Mr. Premack’s thoughtful articles. He asked my wife to set up an appointment to draw up a Will and such other documents that might be needed.
My wife and I accompanied her father to his appointment in with Mr. Premack to facilitate the interview, as her father was profoundly deaf. We were so pleased with Mr. Premack’s manner and the quality of his efforts, that Ramona and I decided it was time to put our own affairs in order.
Mr. Premack drew up our Wills, Durable Power of Attorney and Medical Power of Attorney in March of 2012. While in his offices, I purchased my first copy of The Senior Texan Legal Guide. Since that meeting I have subscribed to Mr. Premack’s articles for the San Antonio Express-News by email and downloaded his seventh edition of The Senior Texan Legal Guide Texas Elder Law.
Later I found it necessary to move my parents from Florida to San Antonio due to their failing health. As soon as practical, we made appointments for my folks to bring their Wills and Estate documents to Mr. Premack for evaluation and translation into documents that would meet Texas Law and secure their Estate wishes. Mr. Premack developed a Restatement of their Living Trust as well as Wills and Durable Power of Attorney.
In June 2017 we accompanied Ramona’s sister to have her Will, Directive to Physicians, Medical Power of Attorney and Declaration of Guardianship drawn up.
During these many years, Mr. Premack and his lovely wife Ruthie have patiently and courtesy answered all of our many questions.

Tom Sinclair and his team pulled a rabbit out of a hat in a difficult and disputed LTD claim against Lincoln Financial. My sister's employer, a multinational retail chain, withheld LTD premiums for almost two years, but had not secured the LTD policy. She was seriously injured and applied for the LTD benefits she had paid for. Lincoln Financial denied her claim. The fight was on, and Tom Sinclair held both of these companies accountable. My sister is a single income household. She was in fear of losing everything as she can no longer work and has additional medical expenses. Meg is a knowledgeable, compassionate lawyer. She created an irrevocable trust to protect my mother’s assets in case Mom needs Medicaid. The process has been unexpectedly complicated. I am impressed with Meg’s knowledge of elderlaw, income tax, real estate taxes, etc.

I had plans to travel overseas for a three week vacation with my wife. My Will written by another attorney, was old and needed major revisions. As a Financial Strategist, I know I needed Trust created to ensure my assets were passed on first to my wife and then to my children (and grandchildren) from a previous marriage. Time was short, I had only two weeks to meet with an Estate Planning attorney and have all documents drafted and executed before our vacation. My wife, Boots is a Retirement Income Certified Professional and gets many attorney referrals in the course of her business. Fortunately for us, my wife received a glowing recommendation about Anthony Minko from trusted business colleague. Our meeting with Anthony was productive and enjoyable. He attentively listen to our concerns, asked the right probing questions, offered alternatives for us to consider, explained how to reduce or eliminate Estate Taxes, drew on a notepad the legal documents required and showed how all the parts fit together to ensure we had the proper Will, Trust, Power of Attorney and health care proxy to protect us and our assets now and after we are gone. We have met with other estate attorneys in the past and the Will and Trust package Anthony executed for us was half of what it would have cost through other attorneys we have interviewed. When my dad got sick we didn't know what to do. His finances were a mess and we couldn't afford the care he needed. We had spoken to social workers, advocates, the hospital, the rehab facility, but no one could give us clear instructions on what to do... only advice on how to fill out some forms. We were referred by an advocate to a different lawyer who wanted to charge us before they even knew if they could help us. Not even 5 minutes of time...
We were referred by a friend to Rebecca and Dinh. We did some research before calling them and they had so much good feedback on every website. We were skeptical at first. How can a law firm have all 5 stars and such rave reviews?
We met with both of them for an extremely detailed overview of what we needed to do and further information needed. They were kind, calm and clear. They didn't rush us and I could tell that they care about their clients. They sprung into action immediately because some of the forms we needed were due within a few weeks. Their communication was constant by phone and email. All of their other staff were also smart, helpful and efficient, especially Anita.

I used him for a medicaid application for a relative. At first, it was an interview with the partner and a new attorney doing the work. When things got tricky, attorney Miller stepped in and handled things personally. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, met all filing deadlines, and provided competent representation, and provided regular case updates. I would not hesitate to use him again.

George helped me and my husband create our wills, trusts, and other important documents like POA and healthcare proxies. It was a smooth and organized process, and he clearly explained everything without jargon. He took the time to get to know us and what is important to us in terms of values and what we were trying to achieve with our estate plan. We also liked that he offers electronic services like the ability to exchange documents securely and store important files in a client vault. There is no way to adequately describe the help that Rick Okamura has been to me over the past two to three years. I brought to him a mess of an estate after leaving another attorney who had botched drawing up the will for an estate and trust that I was the personal representative and trustee for. In early 2016 I hired Misha to write an estate plan for me. This included a will, AHCD & FDPOA. I had some very specific concerns about underage nieces and nephews inheriting. He is a good listener, and I felt comfortable discussing my concerns with him. He was able to address my concerns well. I hired Nora after my sibling's falsely accused me of not meeting my trustee duties. It was the hardest time of my life. I was a cyclist hit in a bicycle vs. auto accident with disputed liability (50/50) over who ran the red light in an intersection in San Francisco. I was referred to Debra by a close friend and attorney.
Debra thoroughly prepared me for what lay ahead. Her compassionate and straightforward communication style made me comfortable with a process that was completely unknown to me.
Before even sending the settlement demand letter, Debra did a huge amount of work on my behalf. She collected all of my medical records, bills, and other documentation. She engaged the services of an awesome biomechanical engineer to help reconstruct the accident.
At a time when I only wanted to focus on healing, Debra helped me to understand that the accident, injuries and surgical implants in my broken tibia were only part of my suffering. She wisely advised me to visit an orthopedic surgeon, who could explain potential future mobility issues I may have. The detailed report and advice I received helped me to make the important decision to have the hardware removed that was so uncomfortable in my leg. Debra's support was empowering.
