My husband was caught with distributing drugs and was facing a mandatory of 24 months in jail. We have two little girls and I automatically assumed my life would turn upside down. The BEST!!!!!!! Hired her for a 40 year dissolution of marriage case after I experienced terrible representation from Linda Fried and Christina O’Brian (Henderson Franklin).
Michele was meticulous and heard my words. She was stellar at trial and uncovered the many lies through my ex’s testimony.
Only negative was when my ex appealed the final judgment, I had to get another attorney to represent me because Michele doesn’t practice with appeals.

I seriously don't think I could reccomend Earl enough.
My case started in Febuary of 2022 when my child's father after years of no contact, got married and they decided they wanted to start having visitations with my daughter. I was skeptical after his inconsistency and abandonment for years prior but Earl was able to put a plan in place that not only made me comfortable, but a plan that also kept my daughter in a safe controlled environment. After that failed to happen we were able to file a motion to terminate his rights and protect my daughter from someone whom lacks pure intentions. Earl was fantastic at fighting for myself and my child. He always explained things clearly and made sure if I had questions that he would answer them. After 2 and a half years of going through the courts there were times I found myself feeling a bit anxious for what was to come. Earl stood his ground for me and was all around the best choice I could have made to ensure my daughter has the future she deserves. Julie was amazing! When I first contacted her office I was extremely nervous, but the front desk was very kind and receptive. I had been through a rough divorce prior, now changing my parenting plan I assumed it would be a huge challenge. Julie and I met shortly after my initial call, she was very detailed and thorough during our meeting, we discussed EVERYTHING. There were a few items that would be a challenge but she was open and honest about it. Julie did not discourage my desire to pursue the challenging aspects, she was just exceptionally realistic but agreeable of my requests.
There were no issues with communication, it was direct and concise. All emails were answered promptly, all phone calls were returned same business day.

David outshines every attorney! As someone who has been through family law hell and a custody nightmare, trusting an attorney is a challenge. David understands DV, coercive control, post separation abuse and a litigant weaponizing the legal system to hurt and destroy their ex. Above all, he understands the needs of the child and cares about the children. I believe he has young kids himself so perhaps it’s why he is able to quickly and immediately identify when an abuser is just going above and beyond to hurt the other party, but in reality hurting their child. While they say to leave emotions out of everything, David certainly fights for the best interest of your children as if they are his own. I searched high and low for someone that understands nonphysical DV like David does and I can’t be more fortunate to have him advocating on behalf of my children and me. His entire office is exceptional, caring and compassionate. I have not personally worked with Stephanie Palo but I also hear she is knowledgeable and exceptional. It gives me that extra confidence in the event she ever needs to step in if David is away or unavailable. In a normal world when a person needs an attorney it is usually for writing a will, settling an estate or buying property. In the abnormal world of bitter divorces and family ravaging child custody cases a person needs more than an attorney; that person needs a counselor who knows children, is more than familiar with divorce settlements, shares empathy for the war-torn victims of one-sided bullying, gets involved both professionally and emotionally with her clients and exhibits a mastery of case law practicing it on the high side of ethics and morality. In Jacksonville, that attorney is Cindy Lasky of the Lasky Law Firm.
During a recent case involving our family Cindy Lasky needed all of the afore mentioned traits to lead us to victory in a courtroom dominated by difficult and harassing opposing attorneys and their determined client. She practiced the type of law and defense that rose above all the baseless trumped up charges, innuendo, and limitless petitions / motions brought by the opposition designed to influence a judge who wouldn’t have it.
