The entire team is amazing. Not only did Rickman win my DUI case and kept me well informed, he was there for me as a friend by staying positive and supportive. 1 year after my case his staff Courtney and receptionist and I apologize for not remembering her name, they both where always willing to help by providing documents needed and answering question even though they were busy. I spoke to Mr. Gowdey over the phone and requested his help in getting a case dropped for a friend that got into some trouble in Vegas. He was hired through phone conversation only and did exactly what he said he would do. My friend didn't have to return to Nevada to appear and her case was dismissed as promised. We were both very pleased with the outcome.

Tabitha Brincat and her entire team did a phenomenal job for my stressful divorce/custody case. We worked together for 10 months and throughout the entire time I had nothing but the absolute best care! She is focused, friendly, incredibly competent, and knew every detail of my complicated case the whole time. She is a great listener and really made me feel like we were a team in making decisions when that was appropriate. When we had to go to the court room she was calm and explained everything so well to me. My sister and I engaged Jacqueline in January to represent us in a CPS investigation after my 6 year old niece was placed under a 30-day safety plan while my sister underwent alcohol detox and therapy. This was our first interaction with CPS. We used employer-provided services rather than the onerous services demanded by CPS. CPS threatened numerous times to move my niece into foster care. They also threatened a legal motion to participate in their services. They even claimed that they didn't have to talk to a legal representative. We would never have been able to navigate this process without Jacqueline, who is an expert not only in the law, but in the ways that CPS will try to manipulate and threaten. Jacqueline made the case that CPS services and involvement were not needed beyond the 30 days. My niece returned home after 30 days, and as of 3 months later, CPS has taken no further action. Jacqueline will fight for you and execute a plan with the highest probability of success. She will navigate the maze of CPS that you can’t see. We are completely satisfied and highly recommend Jacqueline.

Dorchester County - It has been three and a half years since my divorce. My son is now five and a half years old and his father started coming around less than a year ago. He was non-existent for years.
I did a good bit of leg work back in 2017/pre-divorce and Atty. Rudolf made it easier for me to put everything on paper. My ex-husband is a very intelligent, highly functioning, narcissistic individual who can convince almost anyone. Charming and articulate, of which I am the opposite. I feared that I was not going to be good enough to represent myself and/or have someone represent on my behalf and what I want for my children (peace, sanity and freedom from mental and emotional abuse and alcoholic environment) but I was blessed enough to select the right lawyer to represent me and understand what is best for me and my kids.

This is an eclectic group of well experienced professionals that will know how to represent you at trial, if your case goes that far. There isn't an angle they won't think about to get you the results you are looking for.
I had the pleasure of being represented by Walter Schouten. Ironically, he was referred to me by an attorney that I consulted with. I was told to call Walter because he is very knowledgeable and he's an outstanding trial lawyer. Walter took on my case and he was assisted by an amazing paralegal in Vanessa Enciso. This dynamic duo believed that they could help my situation in securing me a new trial for a custody case. They went to work immediately. This was 2 weeks after I lost at trial while being represented by a different firm.
Long story long...Walter was able to get me a new trial, and he was able to get the judge to change her previous ruling. I am now the custodial parent of my 7 year old son.
I have to admit that even if I wasn't awarded custodial rights, I was more than satisfied with the representation and would have been able to live with the ruling a lot easier. Knowing that I was being properly represented was huge for me. Especially since the previous firm I hired for this case was absolutely terrible.

William "Rusty" Hubbarth did amazing job when I was looking down the barrel hope being possibly convicted a 4 charges. Being disabled veteran he advocated for conditions and help drop a couple charges to get me a good deal with probation and with stipulations that help aid me with my disability. I appreciate him very much and anybody that has this lawyer in your corner he is definitely going to advocate for you and he is definitely going to go to the length to make sure that the very best can be done for you. I can't be more grateful and thankful for this man helping me in my time of need and yes I did break the law but he advocated the issues that were outside the norm and my situation surrounding the charges. Erica was extremely helpful with helping me get my divorce wrapped up and her pricing was reasonable. Do not under any circumstances hire Jon Parchman. He is worthless and a liar. He refuses to answere emails, texts, or phone calls and does nothing than the absolute bare minimum to handle your case. He completely screwed me over after paying him $8000 and refusing to talk to me or even meet with me before trial dates. He passed me off to another attorney he works with and then they both used Covid as an excuse to never leave their houses or take any mettings. Erica was a breath of fresh air and was always available within a reasonable time frame to answer any and all of my questions. I just wish I had know about her from the start and not wasted all that money on that worthless scumbag Jon Parchman who only made my situation worse. After doing some more research online it looks like that is how this lazy, lying POS always does business.

I had an illegal stalking case in 2007, supposed to get probation, Redfield made an agreement with the DA, but the defendant went on the stand for about an hour & ended up screwed over & convicted.
I stopped in yesterday & spoke with Redfield, but didn't remember him making an agreement.
If she wouldn't have gone on the stand, would have gotten probation.
He is retiring at the end of this month & won't take new cases.

By far the best family law experience I have ever had. I have been battling a custody case for going on 7 years. If we're honest I didn't really have the money to hire an attorney and had been doing it on my own. Well in short I had a couple disgruntled ex gfs and a biased g.a.l. against me. Mr Redfield handled it all very well. I almost felt as if my case was the only case he was handling although I know that wasn't the case. The biggest thing for me was his compassion. He and I talked for hours and hours...all of which he didn't charge me extra money for, as has been my experience with most other lawyers. We discussed a price and he stuck to it. Which was HUGE for me, because if he wanted more money I probably would have been out of luck. In court (which ended up being a 3 day evidentiary hearing) he couldn't have examined/cross examined better. He and I had some different thoughts on the process but I put my trust in him seeing as he's the lawyer. He didn't let me or my son down. In fact he couldn't have done better. If you're dealing with a custody issue choose this guy. You won't regret it. Every man I know feels they don't have a chance in custody court, pick Jared Redfield and you won't feel that way anymore. The cards were against me going in. But he brought to light ALL the facts that really mattered and showed the court what a fathers love truly means. From the outset Jared was a true professional. I can’t say enough good things about Sean and his staff. I had a very messy divorce. I worked with another lawyer for seven months and he did very little for me except continually remind me that Wisconsin was a 50/50 state and that even though I brought significant assets into the marriage while my ex had, none, I earned about three times more during the marriage, and we were only married for a short time, I was going to have split everything 50/50 with him. He pressured me to agree to a very bad mediation deal.
Luckily, before having the judge finalize the mediation agreement, I came across Sean‘s reviews on Google. I wasn’t just looking at how many stars he was given but I read what people wrote about him. People repeatedly commented on his commitment, his dedication, and going the extra mile. I made an appointment for a consultation with Sean. Within the first five minutes of our meeting, he said, “Let me show you what the law actually says, I have had to educate other counsel and judges about this.” He printed off the actual law where it states that Wisconsin is a 50/50 state after consideration is made for the following items, which included length of marriage, what each brought into the marriage, and the length of the marriage.
After talking a little more, he asked why I didn’t have a restraining order and I told him that my previous lawyer told me it was 50/50 whether I would get it and that it would be inflammatory and work against me even though I felt very unsafe and threatened. Sean appeared very upset after hearing this, and disagreed, but continued to be professional and not bad mouth the other lawyer.
Sean was very brave about taking on my case this late in the game with a fast approaching court date and so much information to take in. Also, my ex hired a lawyer who I had heard said is the best divorce lawyer in La Crosse. I wholeheartedly disagree, because Sean definitely is the best.
I am still in awe of the commitment Sean made to helping me get a fair trial and a great outcome. I would see emails from him sent on weekends and in the middle of the nightat times. It was so reassuring to know he was on my side and so determined. He blocked out several days of his calendar so that he could familiarize himself with my huge stack of documents. As soon as I retained Sean as my attorney, I finally felt like I could relax and let him take care of it. I knew that no matter what happened with the results of the trial, I would be satisfied, because I had the best representation I could possibly have.
My hearing went on for two days. Sean was relentless in his effort to get me a fair trial and justice. In the end, the judge decided to divide the assets 80/20 in my favor. I did not get everything I wanted, but that never happens in court. It was about $70,000 that Sean saved me based on what my previous attorney was forecasting with a trial outcome.
In some ways, more importantly, Sean gave me the opportunity to tell my story and have it validated by the judge. He was so committed to making it clear that I tried so hard during the marriage and that my ex was dishonest and completely took advantage of me. It seemed that Sean felt a moral obligation to not let my ex take more from me and to have his greediness and dishonesty exposed.
I will also say that his staff was very friendly and hard-working. Sean went out of his way to try to save me money when he could by having me do some of the legwork if I wanted. He kept me consistently updated on status and promptly responded to all of my messages. Hopefully I will never need counsel again, but if I did, I would definitely retain Sean again. If it were possible to give him 10 stars, I would.
