Lack of communication also when one thing is said something totally different from what was said will be done if anything is done at all. Just get everything in writing or email when having these attorneys represent you. It was said to me that the attorneys fees would be reduced that did not happen at all. Jason Ollman…. This man is heaven sent. Jason is an attorney that actually cares and has a heart of gold. He knows when he hears a lie and knows when he hears the truth. He doesn’t judge anyone by the situation they are in and he LISTENS. !
My husband was battling a charge of 1st degree sexual assault in RI. I had zero hope. Not one attorney in the state would give me the time of day to explain anything what so ever. Every attorney I had called, heard the word “sexual assault” and immediately told me they couldn’t help me. 10PM the night prior to court for my husband, I found Jason. He allowed me to ramble as much info as I could to him and showed up for court at 9am that next morning. Within one week, Jason had my husband out of jail. Fast forward ,One year later, (courts are slow) Jason was able to prove the case was a false allegation and my husband is now a free man.

Got a ticket on 13 on the way to the beach. I received a letter in the mail from the Brian Harrison stating wanting my business. I was skeptical at first but after thinking about the cost of my insurance going up I decided to work with him to fit the ticket. The cost of working with him, court cost, and drivers class is more than the ticket cost but if you factor in insurance rates going up it was a no brainer. No promises were made by Mr. Harrison but he did state that most likely the ticket would be dropped and I would have to take a driver course. The outcome, he was right. I'm sure it helped that I had a clean driving record but I didn't have the time to drive to court myself. Thanks for getting this taken care of for me.

I've been working with Amber and her team for the past three years. She's one of the most important people in my life. She was able to get a very serious charge dismissed for me.
The amount I paid her felt like a lot at the time but in retrospect it was nothing. I would've found a way to pay her twice that. I heard about someone who had her appointed by the court and I just think, what incredible luck. If you get her appointed or if you've just hired her just do what she asks and you can sit back and relax. I feel so lucky to have chosen her to represent me. Things could've gone very differently for me but I hired her and saw true justice done.

I just called her office to request information regarding a case from 20+ years ago. Her office manager, being 30+ years experienced in crime records reporting, took her own time to advise me on the process and how to proceed, without having to hire a legal counselor at all. The quote above is one I wish had come to mind before retaining the first attorney in my criminal case. It is never a good decision to make a decision from anxiety and fear of unfamiliar circumstances.
What prepares a person without a criminal record to take the next step in the judicial process after bonding out of jail? Nothing.
Living an honest life for 60 years means little when falsely accused of domestic violence. Watching as mandatory arrest and no-drop prosecution policies implemented to protect victims of domestic abuse were skillfully exploited and manipulated by the mother of my son's young child was staggering.
The hurried decision after being released from the mandatory Metro Jail 12-hour hold to pay legal retainer fee was a novice's mistake. Choosing from a list of private counsel found in the reception area of the Public Defender's Office without researching experience and case results almost jeopardized my rights and freedom. Unlike my accuser, there was no army of advocates waiting to guide me through the process.
Thankfully, I was able to find Mr. Horst's website in my online search for highly-rated experienced criminal trial attorneys. After watching Mr. Horst's video “My Client My Fight”, I knew he was the person for my defense.
The most repeated characteristics of successful criminal defense attorneys mentioned in articles I read online were:

When I explained my situation to Mr Seyfi he asked me what I did? I told him I was a recording artist. He asked if I had any music available? After he heard a few tracks on Apple Music he told me to get out there and continue to make good music. And not to worry about this case because he was going to make it go away! I want to start by saying that Attorney Hardy is a caring man who is very knowledgeable of the law. My children and I were going through a rough time. My ex-wife was being unfaithful and walked out. We have three children together who I was caring for, so naturally I wanted custody. At the time, theyalso were struggling as they wanted to permanently stay with me but didn't know what was going to happen. I called Attorney Hardy and let him know what was going on. He was very professional and took his time to walk me through the procedure. I know at times I was a bit impatient because I wanted to know the outcome, but he was always kind and would tell me that there was a process that would take time.
