Margaret handled my divorce with grace, compassion and ease! She and her staff really made a hard time much easier on me. She always placed my best interest and the best interest of my child first. I have been a client of Chamberlain Law Firm for over seven years! I first came to Margaret in the middle of a custody battle. Prior to meeting with her I tried to handle things on my own and landed myself in a very precarious position. I did not wish to fight with my ex, but simply do what was going to be best for the two young children. My ex had other plans. In hindsight I wish I would have met with her sooner. If you are considering whether you should or shouldn't get an attorney… You need to just come speak with Margaret. She is a wealth of knowledge! I won't bore you with the sob story that was my life. All I can say is Margaret took ALL my mess...and it WAS a mess! She explained very thoroughly what my expectation should be, what I should do, what I should be prepared for.
From the first time that I walked into Margaret Chamberlain's office and met Deanne and Kathy I felt cared for. I felt like they understood my goal was to protect my children and not to hurt someone else. 2016 was a very tough year for my family. My step daughters mother made some significant changes in her life that would have taken an A student out of an excellent school, 400 miles away from everything she knew and loved. Including friends and family, moving her the unknown with a new stepfather that was not out for her well being. We were terrified for what her future was to hold. We were scare, angry, very upset... anxious. Margaret and her staff felt like family, they understood how and why we felt what we felt. And we felt their concerns for our daughter as well. They understood this was our world right now and we just needed the safety of this child to be put first and foremost.
Deanne and Kathy were always sure to understand any concern when we contacted the office whether via email or phone so as to relay to Ms. Chamberlain in the best to their ability for her to get back to us with an answer promptly.
My step daughter had a change in custody to her father - temporary custody end of summer 2016. Father got sole custody mid summer 2017. Both very unusual results.

My son was called back to court when he shouldn't have been. Nobody wanted to help they were lagging trying to make trouble for him .Chelsea stepped up to the plate (unlike the original attorney). Let me tell you she got right down to Business she went above and beyond. Same day it was all cleared and done. She outdoes those expensive attorneys anyway hands down!!!!
I've never seen an attorney tackle anything the way she did. She went after it as though it were her own son and kept me posted all the way. All I can say is WOW. Now this woman deserves the title "Attorney".

My life turned upside down 3+ years ago when the unexpected happened. Before I knew it I was talking about criminal defense and my name was attached to something I did not do. Dealing with the trauma and now the accusations were more than I could deal with on my own. Fighting for my credibility, reputation and foremost the truth was completely out of my hands. I contacted James A. H. Bell Law Firm and he immediately had his team on my case. Chelsea and the team helped me understand the foreign language of the law. I was guided, not forced into making life-altering decisions. My fears, questions, and opinions were welcome. These people did not know me and in the beginning, they did not know whether I was truly "not guilty", but even still, they treated me with such respect, and never did I feel like a criminal. Our case was a very difficult and complex situation crossing a state line. We contacted the James A. H. Bell Law Firm regarding a criminal defense for our son. He turned the case over to his associates, one of which was Chelsea Harris. Chelsea gave it her all for almost 15 months to give my mentally ill son the opportunity to properly defend himself against totally false charges that were made against him in Tennessee. She fully and thoroughly researched related cases and prior rulings in order to help give him this opportunity. We have had contact with her in the evening and on weekend days showing that she has worked long and hard hours on his behalf, not just during customary office hours. There were numerous court appearances that required a lot of drive time for her as well. She shows a genuine interest and caring for her client. The case was finally dismissed and we have Chelsea to thank for this. I will be eternally grateful to her for this and I would definitely recommend her without hesitation for anyone needing a great defense attorney.

Mr. Huston has rescued me on two seperate occasions. When i signed for prison time i was terrifed and he made sure i was able to acquire all of my back time and told me i wouldny serve very much of my prison term. I did 19 days on a 3 year tdc sentence and i am grateful for having the best attorney in the great state of Texas.

Mr. Huston is a phenomenal lawyer and worked incredibly hard on my case even though he was appointed to me, not hired by me. He got me misdemeanor time on a state jail felony case that I was originally offered a year on. He went even further and fought for me to have my time served on the weekends only, in county jail, and everyday I am there counts as two days. he made sure that I was able to keep my job and be at home with my wife and daughters the majority of the week. He recently went out of his way and got the time pushed back that I go into the county jail, while still getting credit for that day, so I could pick up an extra shift at work, which he did not have to do. If I ever were to get in trouble again this man would be my first call. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a criminal case. He's highly intelligible, easy going and hard working. If he did this good of a job on a case where he was appointed by the court, he's obviously worth every dime someone would be paying him.

I hired John and his wife Courtney to represent me for my criminal case after interviewing 20 other attorneys. I mainly dealt with Courtney but would also speak with John on occasion. I really liked there online case file system so I was able to login and get updates. In my humble opinion, they went above and beyond what I expected. Mr. Safford helped my son with his speeding ticket from Oct. 2015 to Dec. 2015. My son had above 100 mph speeding citation. Since he was tried as adult and is 17 year old, the outcome for the case looked grave. In fact, the judge was so determined to teach the teenage a lesson; he refused to let the case go when the officer did not show up in court. Mr. Safford understood my son’s worries and the teenage mentality. He planned a strategy for the next scheduled court date. He is sympathetic to our situation and understood that this was also a teachable moment for the youngster. When the police officer did not show up the 2nd time, the case was dismissed. I am a city employee, in 2014 I was arrested for allegedly committing several felonious non-violent, non- job related criminal offenses. I had to find a lawyer who understood the plight of the average everyday working citizen who was a single parent minority living from paycheck to paycheck. I found him, Steven Questore. Never in my lifetime did I think I would need a lawyer, much less be able to afford one who practices out of the Woolworth Building across the street from City Hall. The moment I reached out to Steven's Law office he returned communication in less than 1 (one) hour. After explaining in detail my situation to him, he assured me that he could help me. Upon my first in person meeting Steven set up a payment plan that allowed me to make affodable monthly payments as he worked on my case. I signed the retainer agreement, he had officially became my lawyer. I met with Steven on several occasions so that we left no stone unturned in my defense, most importantly he believed in my innocence. As I stated I am a city employee and any form of a criminal conviction could have literally ended my career, (I was already placed on administrative duty because of the arrest).
How would I provide for my son, pay for his private school, what would happen to
us if I lost all that I had worked so hard for my entire life? Scared is an understatement to describe how I felt. Steven understood this, he settled my fears and put my mind at ease. Steven worked on my case keeping me updated every step of the way. This went on for almost two years, it was not always good news, postponements, new DA's, new judges, offers to settle made by the prosecution that were just not acceptable. Never the less Steven always assured me "not to worry", he would often say "I'll tell you when you should worry." Fortunately, he never had to state those words to me. Finally, on July 7th 2016 a year and ten months after my arrest Steven Questore got what started out as an attempt at a Felony conviction down to a FULL DISMISSAL by action of the DA's office. YES, a FULL DISMISSAL you read it correctly. I got my life back and more importantly my career as a city employee remains unblemished. I emphatically encourage anyone who is facing what seems like a no - win situation to reach out to Mr. Questore's Law office, his assistants are always available and do an outstanding job of getting your messages to him. There was never a time that I had to lye in wait for Steven to get back to me, he makes you feel like your case is the only one that matters. Bottom line, he cares about who you are as a person and what affect this will have on your life. He sticks with you, no matter how long it takes, Steven understands the plight of being a minority in America and having to go up against the Justice System. I shudder to think of what would have happened had I not found Steven. As My title says My Lawyer Saved my Career.

I was referred to Jon Kurtz by my estate attorney. Jon enlisted partner Elise Whitley for perspective and backup. While no one enjoys a divorce, Jon and Elise made it understandable for me, a first timer. As we worked through the process, I gained confidence in their knowledge and capabilities. While researching divorce opinions, I found case law that Jon had argued (successfully). Good to have that experience in your corner. Not to mention an adjunct professor at Wake Forest and a Legal Elite.
We were stymied by foot-dragging opposing counsel, and the added burden of ending Covid, but Jon keep the momentum going, with steady reminders and requests for responses, getting commitments.
Ultimately we did get a settlement I felt was reasonable.
My take-away is that the Kurtz firm brings a sense of dignity and respect for the law, exceptional experience and knowledge, and the competency needed for successful family practice.
I have no hesitation recommending Jon and company, without question one will receive services of the highest order.

This is the second time we have used Chris Affronti’s firm. He and his assistant, Kim are beyond exceptional. Chris is a straight shooter, honest, caring, and most important an expert in his field. First time he counseled us through a QUADRO which was handled flawlessly. The second was for an adjustment in child support which we didn’t have high hopes for. Chris came through with a means to make it happen and did so both professionally and quickly. We highly recommend this firm. Only regret was that we didn’t use him for the initial divorce. Things would have gone much better had we done so.
