If I could give negative stars then I would. It took months for them to get back to me, just to tell me they couldn't help me. There was a contract dispute and the attorney didn't even read the contract. When I discussed it with her she was telling me one thing and I said, what about section 14? She said I was wrong, but then I read it to her and she said, hold on (so she could read it). Then she wanted to add two figures when it clearly said the difference of them. She asked me if I had anything else from the company and I told her yes I sent it in. She then reviewed it.
Even though she acknowledged my facts were right, told me there was nothing she could do. I said, so it took you months to tell me that? She said she had to review the file. If she had previously reviewed the file and I still had to point things out to her then she needs better reading comprehension.
She decided she wasn't going to help me before she read my file or talked to me - incredibly unprofessional.

I just called to get some information about getting help with some custody issues and the person who answered the phone told me "all the paperwork is online for free, and unless your a victim of domestic violence we will not help you" told me good luck and hung up the phone, if you only do domestic violence then you should probably list that on the website and be a tiny bit more respectful to people when talking to them.

He doesn't answer calls texts or emails was a complete NO SHOW at my zoom hearing! The Magistrate other attorney were clueless to where he was asking me where my attorney was! He was PAID to do a service prior and basically TOOK my money! I filed my own paperwork because he left me alone! He he apologized for not being at the hearing but told me he didn't owe me any money when I terminated his NON SERVICE and threatened to call the bar association he stated my flat fee was now (Threatened) with $250hr and basically expect a bill! I originally gave this man $2000 I'm left to find another attorney!

I was facing my second DWI, and I decided to hire a lawyer because I was deeply concerned with consequences associated with a second offense. This lady took a case for a friend of mine she asked the family for 10 thousand to take up his case, then quit and said she wasn’t helping them anymore she kept the money and gave no explanation as to why she was throwing the case she basically took advantage of them and when they went to ask
For documents and get an explanation why she threw the documents at his mother (whom is an older lady) then called two security guards and kicked them out like they were criminals don’t give this lady your money she will take it and not help you.

I had a crazy legal charge of battery. I was driving Lyft and had a crazy lady claim that I hit her. She had a video of me yelling at her and I threw her out of my car. The state wouldn’t dismiss it and I was facing jail time and probation. I had hired Adam and he was confident that he could help meif I took it to trial. Well today we had the trial. I have lived in Palm Beach 43 years playing polo and have had my share of lawyers... He was the best lawyer I ever had. He knows the law better than anyone I ever met. He got the jury to find me “not guilty” and it was because of his personality and knowledge of the law. He knew exactly how to handle it. I thought I would be going to jail. I didn’t even need to testify and he got my charges dropped with a “not guilty” jury verdict. I can’t say enough good things about his skills as an attorney. I got lucky finding him after I got arrested. I never went threw a jury trial before, but he made it easy. I was praying to God for help and I believe in the power of prayer. Today I was a nervous wreck, But he was so funny at times that he made the jury comfortable. He explained the law to them and made them understand that I was not guilty.. I think he is the best criminal defense attorney in Palm Beach County. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs help. I can sleep peacefully tonight.

If I could give this lawyer Adam Farkas no stars I would. Adam was very unprofessional. We paid this lawyer for a first appearance that he didn't even show up too! First appearance was reschedule and Adam had every excuse for not being present at the time of the call instead of taking ownership of missing the zoom. On top of that Adam requested more money for "filing". He did so many things wrong in so little time. It was a complete mess! We had to switch to another lawyer. Adam wouldn't even refund us which we paid him for a first appearance that he missed! Worst experience ever I would not recommend this lawyer at all for any case!

Adam represented me in a traffic citation, which is 'light’ work for him because most of his work is in serious criminal charges. I am an attorney myself, but not a criminal defense attorney, and I was very pleased to see Adam pursue the weak points of the charge against me by succinctly and clearly, but not obnoxiously objecting to irregularities and questioning the witness against me. His courtroom demeanor was highly effective in bringing out the judge’s sense of fairness against the bogus charge against me. In fact, Adam brought out many points showing that the opposing witness is the guilty party, which is the actual situation, so I won ‘hands-down’.
The policeman who was in the hearing room to keep people from brawling kept looking at me like he hated me, over a traffic accident over which he had no prior knowledge, all he knew was that I was a defendant, so it goes to show you the prejudice of law enforcement against defendants, (you know the idea, that if a policeman said it, it’s the gospel truth), which Adam Farkas was able to completely overcome by raising very important points about the state’s case and the testimony of the opposing witness. In fact, Adam Farkas raised important verifiable and unquestionable factual points that show that the alleged infraction by me was completely physically impossible, which are facts that the policemen should have known, but didn’t know, and that won the case for me. He didn’t even need me to testify, I just sat there listening to Adam bring up important questions about the facts of the accusation and to question the opposing witness about facts that showed the illusion that I had committed a crime.
Adam also told me about a hearing he had earlier in the day in a felony case in which he scorched the evidence against his client, and won that one too. He is the best criminal defense attorney that I know of. Would I hire him again? Absolutely yes. I even paid him more than he asked, out of gratitude for his good work. While the bulk of my legal work as an attorney is in transactional work, I was co-counsel at a U.S. Supreme Court case (on prisoner rights) so I am familiar with courtroom advocacy at the highest levels, and Adam was as good as the attorneys I have seen at the U.S Supreme Court.
The world needs attorneys like Adam Farkas to stop false charges against people. He definitely has a gift for this kind of work.

Avoid this piece of garbage. I tried to sue his law firm for their incompetence. No one would help, then the law firm sued the attorney that was appointed to me by them. They won the case against him at the supreme court. Nobody at this law firm will make it right. What Travis did to me(not filing my documents, never handle an eviction before, and so much more.... No one at his law firm will provide you with a standard of care.

I was contacted about a class actio. case and it was requested that I speak with a paralegal for an hour during my workday. I was asked up front my gender and race. After an hour long conversation, there was a follow-up email explaining that my gender and race disqualified me from the case. My ex-wife and I hired Grossman to defend our son who caught a ride from some questionable people in you from Pensacola to Atlanta where I live. He was asleep in the backseat of the car when he was rudely woken to being in the middle of a high-speed chase from the police. The driver and his wife were throwing drugs out the window my son was telling them the whole time to pull over and to let him out. Of course they were all arrested and drugs were confiscated picked up alongside the road along with some weapons and other items. None of the evidence that was picked up had my son's fingerprints on it or DNA or any physical connection to him. And yet my son is now sentenced to almost 30 years in a federal prison thanks to the inability of Grossman to object to things like the video of the car chase. Why was that even submitted into evidence when he was in the backseat of sleep. The wife of the driver even said that in a recorded statement. She also said a bunch of other stuff that went along with my son's side of the story and yet no one but Grossman could have gotten him almost 30 years and a federal prison. Now I know Christmas is going to have a response to this and how he did everything he could and what I'm saying is not true. Well if anybody's lying it's him. I'm not calling him a liar but if he contradicts what I'm saying then he's lying. Don't waste your money on Richard Grossman.

Well, I would strongly advise against using mr. Houghtaling! i trusted him and he abused that trust. We had an arrangement and I still don’t know to this day why he gave up literally and failed to communicate with me what was happening. We had 21 days to respond to the courts and he totally would not respond to me. I went into office, he told me he could fix all of it to my face , then to again go to no communication. Not really sure what type of man does that, I was making monthly payments. So I don’t think that was it. Maybe this is what lawyers do, I don’t really know. I feel like he set me up for failure. I’m sad cause I lost a lot now and that I trusted him!

Do not hire this attorney! He talked about all the things he will do and then never returns calls, texts or emails. I called and texted 3 of 5 days a week and never heard from him. Went to court for a hearing scheduled by my ex-husband to be and no prior appt or even a meeting at the court house with him was done before we met with opposing counsel and I lost because Mr Houghtaling did not pay attention to details in the proposal. I am now paying all the bills at the martial home, including mortgage payment and all credit cards, earning
1/2 of the income of my ex to be. My ex-husband to be is informed by his attorney of everything in the case and I still am asking questions and not getting answers. I need to fire this guy!!! Which I intend to do.

We hired Chris to handle a Probate case. I've had to remind his office several times to complete paperwork that needed to be submitted for the case. His paralegal lacks the ability to effectively communicate and is very short with us over the phone. She acts as though every phone call is bothersome to her and wasting her time. They repeatedly give us conflicting advice and don't seem to listen very well. I've asked for return phone calls from Chris and as of right now, I still haven't received the return phone call I asked for in August 2016. Three times in a row he cancelled our appointments after we took time off of work to meet with him. I'm not real sure why it is so difficult for him to tend to his paying clients, but Chris nor his Paralegal seem client focused. I am very disappointed in his lack of ability to follow through on all the things he's promised us he would do.

When I was in early twenties I got convicted of a crime and Dauphin county that did not commit. Long story short to spend at the time was a public defender and after a two year battle I got found not guilty with an over assuming amount of evidence that Damian put together. I thought it was weird so I only sent him half the evidence at first... just incase cause.. er something was fishy.. then.. bloop never heard from him again. After waiting two weeks..and several texts later I called the bar. They gave me someone else. Like, you guys know we can leave reviews right? Derp.. would not recommend. I guess maybe I was boring.. sorry I'm not an exciting criminal... must have other "cool" things going on.. the bar gave me someone else and I actually won.. hmm imagine that. Robert Langford is a true professional. I needed a help with a matter that was extremely personal and very urgent, and Robert helped me take care of things in a fashion that was prompt, discrete, and above all: friendly. He really cares about your well-being. He drove two and a half hours to be at a meeting that really only took 30 minutes, and he did it without a second thought. Robert Langford acted interested in my criminal case and as though he wanted to help--I paid him the entire retainer up front. One week later, he very publicly withdrew from representation and kept the entire retainer for doing absolutely zero legal work. On top of that, he personally insulted and degraded me. I have never experienced a more terrible attorney--he will absolutely take your money and withdraw ASAP. Do NOT hire him unless you want to be scammed.

've thought about NOT writing this review several times, but the crazy, pathetic & bizarre actions of Mrs Alterman really needs to be known.
I'll just list them
1. Cursed me out once for calling in what she thought was 8pm but was 3pm not sure what the deal was but very bizarre.
2. Missed filing for hardship license which resulted in not getting one.
3. Missed court on three occasions two resulted in bench warrants put out for my arrest.
3. Failed to show for jury trail, which caused myself to not be there ither.
4. Scolded me in court and told me to mind my own business let her handle this when I had a couple questions.
5. Never seemed to remember anything
6. Always accused me of my guilt & never once seemed on my side.
7. Suggested that I send the arresting officer donuts, I kid you not that was so bizarre

I hired Kelly Kilgore to represent me in court, he would never keep an appointment to see me always with an excuse or another and when I fired him, he kept 90% of the money for doing nothing, then I took him to arbitration and again he kept canceling and making excuses, now I am taking him to small claim court and reporting his fraud acts to the California Bar association.

Many attorney's are in it for the money only and could really care less about the clients just as long as they win, but not Mr. Kilgore. He does this because he just love helping people. No matter what the case I know he will do his BEST. I just had 2 federal charges, which were 2 felonies. He had one completely dismissed and the other which was dropped down to a misdemeanor, and unsupervised probation. I couldn't ask for anything better when I was looking at 1 year minimum for one of my charges and 10 years on another charge. Please do your research, and if you are looking for someone is 100% straight forward with you and will let you know right off the bat what his suggestion is, I would go with Jason Dunn. He definitely helped me out more than I could ever ask for! He's very professional and I can bet you he would give you your best deal in the court of law. Good Luck!!!

My company hired Mr. Dunn to handle a time sensitive business transaction, all of the communications were with his paralegal. Each time I called regarding the status of my petition I was told that Mr. Dunn was handling a Federal case and was unavailable. The only communication I received directly from Mr. Dunn was an email stating that he was terminating his engagement. In our industry petitions are usually filed with 24-72 hours, it took his office nearly a month to file a petition, once a petition was filed the petition included several careless mistakes. When I asked his paralegal about the mistakes she would not respond. My calls to Mr. Dunn went unanswered, when I emailed him letting him know that I am about to lose the customer and incur damages due to the delay he let me know that I should find another attorney. He also said that I did not provide sufficient information regarding a change to a Virginia statute, when I asked what exact information I did not provide he would not answer.

Mr. Brown agreed to represent me for two separate traffic offenses and gave me a slightly reduced rate ($500 for both). However, he instructed me to go ahead and pay the original higher rate ($300) for the first ticket he had already billed me for and then he sent a second bill for $200, which I also paid in good faith.
The result of Mr. Brown's representation for the speeding ticket was disappointing. He was only able to get the speed reduced slightly and the court costs reduced accordingly, but I still wound up with three points against my license and over a hundred dollars in court costs on top of what I paid him!
It has been a number of years since I needed a traffic attorney, but back when I drove cross country and picked up an occasional speeding ticket, they were always able to get the ticket dismissed. Mr. Brown's excuse was that the court in Alcoa was very hard line on speeding tickets. But when he voiced his apprehension about being able to effectively represent me for the second ticket where the other driver actually struck me, I began to wonder whether this guy knows what he's doing. I've had a few traffic attorneys represent me over the years and this is the first time I ran into one who considered himself ineffective.
When I expressed my concern, he abruptly withdrew from my case, but said he will only refund $200 instead of the $250 we had agreed to when he agreed to represent me for the second traffic offense. I hired Rodak to represent me in my divorce. He wasn't prepared at all the day of trial,told me I was bitter and made deals with other attorneys without consulting me. During the trial there were times my children's law guardian would object on behalf of her clients mother, while Rodick said nothing! Because of him and his incompetence I received nothing I should had. I was violently ill after this trial and how badly he handled it. Years later my kids and I are still dealing with the reprocussions of his incompetence. Spend your money elsewhere

I retained Joe for some trouble I had gotten into. A few bad decisions and 3 Felony Indictments later, I found myself in a world of trouble. Beginning at the arraignment Joe was was cool, calm and collective. He was aggressive enough to make his point, but not cocky where he screwed my chances. Joe was nothing short of a pit-bull fighting for me, and he certainly didn't let the DA back us into a corner.

This attorney has not responded to our questions regarding our son's case. We have repeatedly called, e-mailed, and texted to no avail. Our son has given this attorney his okay in allowing us to be privy to information. Attorney has been paid a great deal of money. We were asked to provide certain documents to present for his court appearance relating to his stability and bond yet he has failed to return our call. We are not in the same state as our son or attorney. We simply are doing our best in providing what is needed by us and are only asking for the courtesy of a five minute phone call. Brought me in office under the guise I needed his services when all I needed was a CPA, his free phone referral could have given what I needed, instead he brought me in and as charged me 300.00 for something he could have easily told me on the phone. He stated to bring 3,000 - 5,000 dollar retainer based on the complexity of the case.. There was nothing complex about it. He was a 30 minutes late, but sent his Dad who was equivalent to a used car salesman and went on and on. Even when I found out they were not able to help me, they still engaged me in questions, taking advantage of my naivety of the situation. They gave me the impression, and wasted my time with meaningless questions only to refer me to a CPA (their friend) who wanted to charge me thousands for things totally unnecessary. If you have rather grey area, do not contact them, they will string you along, contact a CPA first. I had no legal issues, and they should have had the kindness to tell me this in our "free consultation" shame on both of them.
