I can't say enough wonderful things about Suzanne and her paralegal Annie. Suzanne stood her ground about my pre-martial property, when my ex thought he was entitled to half. Long story short, my ex got nothing but a lot of wasted money spent on his attorney to fight for something she knew he wasn't entitled to. Suzanne never wasted a dime of the money I paid her and I will forever be grateful to her for the kindness she has shown me in the last 16 months. I had a very pleasant experience dealing with Mrs. Jones and her team through my divorce. They made things very easy for me and gave me options. I never felt like they were trying to sell me anything but rather give me the best options I had available for a speedy divorce. If I ever had questions the team there could answer them or got back to me quickly. I knew from the getgo that Sheryl was going to have my back and give me the support I needed throughout my divorce. Sheryl, Christine and Don guided me through 4 plus years of a very difficult divorce. Sheryl was always there to support me and also not afraid to tell me when I was not taking the right position or giving in too easily. She and all of her attorneys are sharp, diligent, strategic, professional and supportive. No-one wants to go through a divorce but having Sheryl and her team on my side made the process more bearable. Even when they were delivering tough news, I always knew I was getting good advice and they were looking out for my best interests. I honestly feel that I could not have been represented better. From the moment I walked into the office I was treated with professionalism and a true sense of caring from everyone in the office. I’m sure my case is not unique. I was not going through a divorce, my girlfriend was, but I needed to quash subpoenas that were filed from her ex-husband‘s attorney.. I can’t believe the speed and thoroughness that had taken place within one day to eliminate the subpoenas against me. I am a client of Ms. Quinn and paralegal Peg, and she won my case in settlement. I met Colleen from a referral of a referral. I was facing a hostile work environment because of my sexual orientation (I'm a gay pastor/Chaplain) at the Veteran Affairs Hospital. I filed a EEOC against the Veteran Affairs and won with Colleen leading the fight. She was costly for me, but was worth the risk. I say that not only in hindsight after winning the settlement, but I say this because I watched her advocate for me, with me, and I felt was with me throughout all of it. In my David and Goliath battle against the Federal Governement, Colleen and Peg picked up our little stones of my story and just like the story reveals, we won. I felt confident in her ability to help me navigate this. She also listened, like really listened, to the things that were impacting me and how they were impacting me. Also, Colleen allowed me to participate in my case and help keep my invoices as low as possible, too. I did research, wrote notes, worked on questions, organized my evidence. I was able to do all that while saving funds. I trusted her skill and training to take my non trained collection of things to be that things that she needed and she did so, expertly. On the documents for submission, she did her parts with such skill and precision. When interacting with opposing counsel and the judge, Colleen spoke with confidence and exerpertise. I engaged Pat Reilly's legal services with high expectations, anticipating a premium level of service befitting the associated cost. However, my experience fell significantly short of these expectations across various aspects. Here's a breakdown:
Wasted Time Impacting Financial Costs:
Scheduling a call with my soon-to-be ex-wife's lawyer became a drawn-out process, taking an exasperating 10 days. Additionally, Pat's reluctance to incorporate crucial details from a Mortgage Broker into the agreement prolonged negotiations by three weeks, resulting in unnecessary expenses. This lack of efficiency and advocacy for my requirements during negotiations was disappointing.
Communication Deficiencies:
Effective and timely communication is essential in legal matters. Despite acknowledging the challenges lawyers face with multiple clients, Pat's response time to my inquiries was subpar. A crucial email regarding a filing went unanswered for five days, impacting the urgency of the matter. While I don't expect immediate responses, a reasonable turnaround time is vital.
Lack of Strategic Approach:
Engaging Pat with the expectation of receiving strategic guidance throughout the legal process proved disappointing. Instead, I found myself prompting him for insights and suggestions, a responsibility that should naturally fall on legal counsel. This lack of strategic initiative contributed to my decision to terminate our professional relationship.
Billing Discrepancies and Lack of Review:
The final invoice raised concerns, with a charge of nearly 30 minutes for an email that could be composed in a fraction of that time. Pat's response to this concern was minimal, offering only a 10% discount and refusing to conduct a thorough review. Given the substantial mismanagement of time and financial resources during our collaboration, this was unsatisfactory.
In conclusion, my experience with Pat Reilly's legal services left much to be desired. Despite the premium fees, the delivery of effective communication, strategic guidance, and a meticulous review of billing discrepancies did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, this experience led me to seek alternative legal representation.

I feel really lucky that Smith Law Group represented me. I have heard so may horror stories related to friends of mine going through a divorce and not having a good attorney. This was not the case with me. I most certainly was well represented and supported. Most importantly if it looked like something may go sideways or we could not get an agreement Jen’s office was able to calm the storm and get us back to settling the case. Everyone told me I would not get custody of my kids because I’m a father living in Washington State. Well, that is not true! STAY AWAY FROM ANY FIRM THAT EMPLOYS KELLY KILROY! She knew she was going to be disbarred and still took our case. We lost huge amount of money because of missed opportunities. She was too focused on saving herself. She would have lost malpractice lawsuit but "had no assets." (This is our opinion based on the facts we experienced).

Some of the most worst moments happen when we need to retain a lawyer. I searched for months and talked to so many attorneys before I decided on Dimitri. I first asked Dimitri, "What type of dirt do we need to dig up for my case?" Dimitri responded: "I am sorry, I don't play those games. If thereis something there, then we will fight and show; but I am not in the business for creating anything." I was inspired by his ethics. I spent the next 6 years back and forth with my crazy situation - several new cases along the way. In each instance, Dimitri not only delivered but he was there to coach and guide me through the many layers of family court and custody battle. Ultimately, after years of fighting; I now have 60% custody of my daughter with all decisions allowed to me so ordered by the courts. Thank you Dimitri!!!!!
