I couldn’t be more pleased with Allison Affleck from the company. My case had a change of venue and we faced a very difficult judge who did not allow Allison to present a proper case and ended up giving me a partial ruling. I appeal and ended up back with the judge. The whole time Allison was positive in obtaining the right documentation to submit and this time she was able yo cross examine the doctor the judge had. Everything went in my favor but the judge ruled against me. We appealed again and finally after over eight years received a fully favorable ruling taking my benefits back to day 1.
During the whole time Allison went above and beyond for me because she said I deserved the benefits. The whole firm was very professional and helpful. I could not be more pleased with the representation I received from Affleck and Gordon and I have and would recommend them to anyone especially. If I can give a higher rating I would.

Allison was superb during my third appeal for disability. I handled the first to myself and was declined and I should have called them from the beginning. I was nervous about hiring a lawyer and getting headwinked. Turns out it's a flat fee and worth every penny and more. I was a fool not to do it sooner.
During my hearing the trial lawyer was a real intimidating jerk, I hung up at the end in tears. Allison called me after the fact and assured me that in 2 months if we got a negative appeal we would just file a fourth one rest assured. She just plugged on and tried to put his demeanor out of her mind, asked all the right questions, and kept me focused about the facts. About 10 days later I got 100% positivity on my claim.
It wouldn't be fair not to give credit to Dawn, who handles all of the legwork, paperwork, back end stuff, from my initial call with her to the very end. She was there every step of the way. Flawlessly efficient, pacient, always returning my calls or emails within a day. Extremely competent law firm!

The title says it all. Robert is such an amazing attorney. I've had the pleasure of working with him as colleagues (my husband is a Chiropractor and we send our personal injury cases to him) but also as his client. I was in a car accident and was recommended by an attorney by my family. He gave me little hopes of winning my case and made me cry with his negative hopes knowing the accident was not my fault. He sent me a letter informing he was dropping my case. I was devastated and started praying for justice because I was not well at all health wise. I started searching online it was about 11pm and out of no where I found Robert Vetchtein and was able to speak with him that late at night. When my therapist finally convinced me to apply for disability I had already eaten through my savings in denial and was in a pretty bad place (though thankfully was safe and had a roof over my head, but I wasn't doing very well otherwise). I was overwhelmed and not sure how to proceed. My mother is a nurse so she asked around for colleagues who knew about the process, and one recommended Mr. Silverman - that was the best stroke of luck I could have asked for.
He was thorough and businesslike, on top of everything, kept meticulous records and chased every possible avenue. But he was also patient with me, sympathetic, and possessed of a humanity and no-nonsense humbleness you wish you could get in your doctors let alone your attorney. I probably felt more embarrassed about my situation than he did, and he tirelessly did the necessary research not only to know exactly what to do, what I was entitled to by law, and how to go about it, but also what things I needed to focus on to make sure the proper authoritative channels understood my situation in a way that was meaningful to them (important when you're an adult with a late ADHD diagnosis- he sifted through my chatter and knew which things were the needed information and which were not).
Through the whole long process, he was there getting things done, rolling with the inevitable snags and figuring out how to get over those hurdles, and keeping me up to date on what was happening, even letting me know now and then he was still on things just because it had been a while and we were still waiting. I never could have done it on my own, but I'm also confident he went above and beyond and strongly recommend specifically this man to help you out with legal advice. Knowing I had him in my corner kept me calm through the journey and I recently got my first disability payment, which hopefully will be the start of me getting a better handle on my health now that the millstone of supporting myself is lifted from my shoulders.
When he told me these reviews helped others find him I couldn't click the page fast enough. Hire him, I promise you won't be sorry, and I want him to be successful and happy forever because he really helped me out through something very difficult, and I don't care if it is his job I'll be grateful forever, he did a great job and he's a good bloke in my book.

I went to Mr. Silverman after losing my first appeal for disability, as most people do. Sam explained the processes, what he would be doing, kept me informed as the case moved along thru the appeals process to a successful conclusion in a hearing in front of a judge.

Airbag and seatbelt restraint light
My name is Cameron and I had a BMW I three rex I just purchased the vehicle back in June 2020. A week after I bought the vehicle my seat belt restraint and airbag light came on. I am mediately took it two the BMW dealership where I purchased a vehicle they told me it was fixed after a few days and gave me my vehicle back roughly 2 weeks later the light appeared again. I took the vehicle back to the dealership where this time they kept my vehicle for just over a week. They returned my car where I drove it for approximately another week and the light came back on for a third time. At this point I was becoming very frustrated with the service that I was receiving from BMW because I just purchased this vehicle and I have two young children that ride in this vehicle with me and the car is indicating that there is something wrong with the seatbelts and the airbag.
I did some research on the Lemon Law through Google and that is where I found Brett Shainfeld, Esq. I called his number and spoke with them over the phone telling him a story about my car. I felt confident after our conversation that I had found the right person to help me with my lemon law case. All of the paperwork was done via email which was reassuring given all that has been happening with the pandemic in 2020. Brett explained to me the process of the Lemon law and immediately begin to work on my case. He was very forthright and always answered my calls or text keeping me informed at all times during the process. While Brett was working on my lemon law case I had to take my vehicle back to BMW for the same issue three more times.
In October Brett informed me that BMW of America excepted my lemon law case and would move forward with the buyback program. All I had to do in this whole process was provide Brett with the documents he requested from me. This made The process very easy and best of all I had no out-of-pocket fees as originally promised in our first conversation.

I was in a MVA and i didn't have any car insurance. I called many firms and Jennifer was the only one that would take my case. I also mentioned to Jennifer that a part of my body was injured and I would need great future medical expenses, which I thought was a long shot. I realized my case was very difficult given my circumstances, but Jennifer accepted my case nevertheless and she advised me the best options I had. I had work and i needed time to find a doctor but Jennifer waited patiently. To my surprise Jennifer was excellent at negotiating and she got me a wonderful settlement amount despite my circumstances, and I believe this is the best possible outcome there could be. I could not thank Jennifer enough. To those of you reading my review, my advise is that many 'big firms' spend big bucks on advertisement and in the end customers are the ones paying for it. Big firms also hire paralegals and assistants at low cost to do all the work (including negotiation), and the 'real lawyer' would only talk to you on the phone for 10 minutes on the day you call, so do not expect to receive professional service and care. Jennifer doesn't spend much on ads, she trusted me and showed me that she cared about me and my wellbeing instead of just making a profit. She also addressed my concerns promptly and patiently and it meant a lot to me. Her kindness, not just her skills, makes her an extraordinary lawyer. I hope more people find and hire her as she deserves more business and us customers deserve great services that her firm provides. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family and would find her again if I need her service!

I traveled to California in July of 23 and met family members staying at a rental unit.
At this unit I had taken a fall off a low step hitting my head on the floor causing a black eye which lasted close to five weeks.
I felt the owner of this unit was negligent for not providing an alert to this step.

I contacted Russell R. Hatten after being involved in an automobile accident in which I was rear-ended by an uninsured motorist. Upon impact I was then pushed into the vehicle in front of me, causing me to rear-end that vehicle. Mr. Hatten was able to navigate the situation to make sure the party at fault for these two collisions took responsibility. Myself, having a chronic back issues, needed medical treatments to address my injuries resulting from the accident. However, the cost of these treatments exceeded the coverage provided by by uninsured motor policy. At least that is what I thought. Turns out the medical facility was charging me nearly four times what should have been charged. Mr. Hatten was able to negotiate the initial cost down to what is considered fair. I was then able to receive the treatment needed to begin my road to recovery. Without Mr. Russell Hatten's help I fear that I would have been left unable to pay for the costs of my treatments. I cannot thank the Chalat Hatten & Banker firm enough. I was truly someone in great need and they were there to provide that help. I was shattered after a terrible snowboarding accident in which I got hit by a beginner snowboarder. This snowboarder smashed my foot, dislocated it, tore all the ligaments, broke it in several spots and shattered my cartilage. I was devastated after realizing my health insurance was a scam and my foot required several surgeries, many months of physical therapy, and the loss of my ability to continue my work in the same way, if at all. My life flashed before my eyes wondering how I would ever be successful again while the bills piled up and my foot, walking ability and driving ability was completely hindered and lost. My lawyer Russell went above and beyond to insure that I not only would have my massive medical bills paid for, but that I would also have compensation for my pain and suffering, lost wages and extra money to help with my life change. He was very personable and communicated with me about what to expect, the time line and fought for what I deserved. Russell was able to get me the full amount that was possible but without the pain and struggle of a trial and he got it for me in a timely manner. This timely manner was a big deal for me as I maxed out all my credit cards and had no wages coming in due to the accident. I hired a contractor to complete a large amount of work on my fixer-upper house I had purchased, which was also my first home purchase. The contractor I hired not only butchered the work he was performing, but he was further damaging my home, and did not even pass any inspections with my county! We had a contract signed for around $43,000. I called him over to discuss my concerns with his work, and he walked out on me! I ultimately terminated him due to his unprofessionalism and poor work. He filed a lien on my home so no other contractor or myself could touch it to continue the work on my home, and I couldn’t sell it considering! I contacted John, and John was cool, calm and collected the entire time since day 1, assuring me he know EXACTLY what to do! HE SURE DID! This was my first time ever needing to hire a lawyer, and he did not disappoint! He was very quick and got right to the nitty gritty of what needed to be done! He got my first lien removed, the contractor filed another, so he got that one removed as well and got the county to sign a judicial order prohibiting the contractor from filing any further liens with the recorders office! I was able to sell the house within the next week and have finally closed on my potential forever home! All thanks to John! If it wasn’t for John, I would still be dealing with a disaster and paying on a home I couldn’t even live in! If you EVER have any issues with a contractor doing the same things to you, trust John! I promise you won’t regret it! He will get the job done!

I was injured on a charity motorcycle ride. I was severely injured. I underwent multiple surgeries. I was close to death many times. I was on life support. I lived in the hospital and a rehab facility for awhile. I could barely move. I had multiple surgeries. After the first few surgeries I had multiple boxes of multiple reams of paper from the medical records of this event. I tried to handle my claim myself because the total limit amounts were far less then my damages. The insurance companies were trying to get over on me. It took weeks to summon enough energy to call and deal with the insurance people and the claim process. After getting the run around from the insurance companies I had thoroughly researched the top lawyers in Oregon. I contacted most of these super lawyers and lawyers with prestigious accolades who are considered the best. For the most part they treated my situation as just another case. I came across Travis Mayor who is also a Super Lawyer with many prestigious accolades as well. I called the office of Travis Mayor and spoke with his kind receptionist. She informed me that Travis was on vacation. A few minute later I received a call from Travis in Hawaii! He cares that much about his clients that he called me from Hawaii while he was with his family. I told him my situation and out of kindness and compassion he said this total limit amount of money would in no way be fair to you. So Travis offered me an EXTREMELY low flat fee out of the kindness of his own heart. He truly cared about me and my situation. After all the pain it was a blessing to come across a man who truly cared. Once Travis took over I was able to focus on recovering. Travis was extremely easy to contact and in most cases got back to me before I could get back to him. He kept me updated and presented everything to me in a direct and clear manner. He outlined the choices I could make and he let me have full control over the decisions of the case while guiding me throughout the process effortlessly. Travis got the limit amounts from both insurance companies. He negotiated my bills down extremely low. And he also searched every possible outlet for further money. Travis went above and beyond and he did it all like a champion with no sweat. Travis is the best lawyer I could have gotten not just in Oregon but anywhere in the globe. I do not think Travis could have done anything better. Travis performed at 1000% and went above and beyond for me and not for money but out of care for my situation. Russell did an excellent job handling my DUI case. During the initial consultation he was able to explain the whole process and during subsequent meetings he completely prepared my for the next stages of the process. On appeal he was able to get the charges dismissed completely, with no fines or jail time and I will be able to get the arrest expunged completely in the future. He and his staff are knowledgeable and have been attentive to every aspect of the case during the whole process. I only had to actually appear in court one time, with other appearances being handled completely by his associates before I could be called up.

First and foremost I want to just let everyone know that this man/ lawyer is a gift from God and I’m not just saying that he truly is. I had so much going on at one point in my life I had cases everywhere and he took on my case where I was facing time behind bars and let me tell you I could always get in touch with him it was never a phone call that he did not pick up and he is not a lawyer that once he’s paid he ignores you, he’s sharp, smart has a good working relationship with prosecutors. I could go on and on about what an outstanding law firm this is and they never make you feel like you’re a bad person , even if you are guilty of what you’ve been charged. Randy always sees the bright side of things if you’re going through a case that’s tough Ferguson and Ferguson is the law firm to choose. I would recommend Ferguson and Ferguson 1000% especially if you’ve been charged with a crime that could get you a felony and time behind bars . They do exactly what you ask and I was looking at a class A or B felony and Randy got it reduced to a misdemeanor, no jail time and unsupervised probation. You can’t really name that many lawyers that can do that , but if you want a great outcome then it’s Ferguson and Ferguson who you want to go with. I don’t usually do reviews but Randy did such a phenomenal job in my case I have to recommend them. Randy is smart , honest and hard-working and he’s going to do the best job for you so make sure you choose them if you’re going through a case that could affect your life because these lawyers truly care about what happens with your life. Jason drew up a complete set of estate planning documents for my grandmother. He answered all of her questions and explained to her how the documents would uphold her wishes in different situations. Sara was everything that I needed in an Attorney. I contacted her because the Insurance Company was pushing me to close a claim. I was having problems with my left side of my body, due to an automobile accident and the Dr.s could not locate the problem. During a consult with Sara, she suggested I go to the Spine Clinic, and she set up an appointment for me. At the appointment they found what was causing the problem and within 45 days I was having surgery and it resolved my problem.
