God led me to Denise and Putnam. I remember how confused and sad I was when I got into their office and Denise told me everything will be okay. Denise Carter is an amazingly professional and skilled attorney and we cannot thank her enough! A criminal charge is never expected by most families. The urgency, seriousness, and despair can be understood only by the people or their families who had that experience. My son was charged with a misdemeanor which had never been imagined based on his school life. Mr. Hall was strongly recommended by my trusted colleague’s spouse who is also an attorney. With a wish to grab a straw in the middle of a miserable feeling, I left a message to his staff member, a nice lady, who had always been kind and calm. He called me back in the afternoon on the same day. My first impression of him was his confidence without hesitation and knowledge. He explained the process in detail, and we met after a week. I was surprised by his insight about the key aspects of the case and whom he should contact. To me, he had eyes seeing the whole picture from above and more than a sufficient network to get the necessary information and help in my county. Our son was a college student at Salisbury University and was wrongfully charged with first degree rape, which can carry a life sentence! We knew on the advice of attorneys in our hometown to find a lawyer in the area who knew the way things worked in Wicomico County. Mr. Hall was a former prosecutor so he knows how both sides think, and he knows the judges! William worked diligently on our sons case through the help of a private detective and an expert witness to prove to the state that this was not a rape case at all and had the matter resolved to a simple misdamenaor with a "time served" sentence. All the other charges were dropped! William took the time to answer our questions and and kept us updated every step of the way! He never made us feel like we were bothering him and understood how difficult this was on our family. Most importantly, he genuninely cared about our son and was able to get him his freedom back! Let me start by saying that I am international PhD student (under F1 visa) from Iran (which could unreasonably amplify the negative effects of any serious conviction on my immigration and education status).
I was arrested by campus police officers at night, while trying to get something from my office. They stopped me for expired tag and after smelling marijuana from my car, they searched my car and did field sobriety test. Long story short, I was arrested and charged with 1) DUI-drugs 2) possession of marijuana (I only had 1 grams) 3) having alcohol open container 4) failure to signal. They also did a blood test after arrest. I should mention that although I was using marijuana a lot those days for sleeping and depression, my driving was not really affected as my tolerance had raised a lot. Since it was my first encounter with cops in US (and I hadn't really researched about my rights and how to interact with cops), I did an awful job (in my opinion) interacting with cops and I trusted them a too much. But they more or less lied to me and made my situation way worse than what really happened that night. Later on, I was very frustrated when I read the police report which was a surrealistic collection of lies.
After bonding out, I immediately started to search for the best DUI lawyers in Georgia and interviewed some of the most known lawyers in the area, as this could affect my career and immigration status massively. Among all the lawyers, I felt more genuine concern about my case, beside being honest about possible outcomes and what he can do and after researching a lot, I realized he is an extremely well regarded and successful lawyer, and therefore the best choice for me. Let me mention for instance that there were another very famous lawyer with a lot of TV appearances, who not only wanted to charge me way more, but also were very pessimistic about the result. Rick did way better than what he was considering impossible!
Throughout the procedure which took around 1 year, he used every chance to dismiss my case for various reasons, which showed to me how extremely knowledgable he is about the details of the law on this subject (once for prosecutors not filing the charges correctly, once for not giving us the blood test and cam video on time, once for the cop not showing up). Our requests did not work mostly because the judge was nice to the prosecutors, but I witnessed that Rick did push for a dismissal whenever it was possible.
Finally after we received the blood test and the video, I realized that the active marijuana in my blood was quite high (0.9 when the limit for DUI in CO is 0.5) and the field tests were not as good as I previously thought. It was not awful, but definitely not good.
So we started to cut a deal. One thing I realized was that it is very important for the lawyers to have good relations with prosecutors, judge and staff (for cutting deals) and Rick had this great as he was very friendly and respectful (and sometimes funny!) and so very much respected in the court. Finally we reached a deal that I was very happy with. They dropped the DUI/possession/open container charges (all drug/alc related charges) and I pled guilty to 1) failure to signal 2) reckless driving. Sentenced to 200 (for 1) and 600$ (for 2) fines (judge dropped 200$). Also a 1 year probation including random alc/drug tests, dui school, community service and Alc/drug evaluation. Rick requested the probation to be terminated after completing my conditions which was accepted. So since I had done all that stuff, after paying the fine on the same day, my probation was terminated and I put all of this big trouble behind!

About three years ago I was pulled over for speeding and charged with a first-time offence 0.08 DWI in a small town about 45 minutes from Charlotte, NC. At the time I was a Florida resident and was temporarily in North Carolina for a work project. Having an out of state license only meant more complications to an already delicate subject, so I immediately began looking for the top-rated lawyers in the area. I scheduled meetings with six different law firms and set aside an entire day to interview them, get their opinion on my case, and ultimately decide which would be the best approach forward. I ended up choosing Robert to represent me due to two main reasons which set him apart from the rest:
First, my arrest took place over Labor Day weekend which meant that I would have to wait a couple of days until being able to meet lawyers, so I decided to leave voicemails during the holiday so I could fast-track my appointments the next day. When calling Robert’s listed number, it turned out to be his private cell phone, which he answered even on holiday nonetheless. Not only did he answer my call during off hours, he heard my case and provided comfort in my situation at a time when I needed it most. Good client communication is one of the main attributes I looked for when choosing my lawyer, and Robert went above and beyond in providing answers to all of my questions at a personal level of communication, which was kept throughout the entirety of my case (over three years).
Secondly, when I first met with Robert, we went through my case and he gave me his honest opinion on the most appropriate course of action. Then, he went ahead and told me a bit about his background, he’s past cases and strategies he would use at trial, but what really sold me on him was the advice that he gave me before leaving his office. He said that “regardless of which lawyer I decided to go with, to always make sure that I get the lawyer that I am paying for”. This is due to the fact that big law firms would take my case and would later hand it off to one of their multiple lawyers, which means I would have no control or knowledge of who is actually representing me, which defeats the purpose of doing my research in finding the best lawyer for my case. I found Robert’s advice to be the most honest and helpful out of all the lawyers I interviewed, something which I actually experienced first-hand in one of the meetings with another firm later that day when I asked the name of the lawyer that would get my case and was not provided with a concrete answer. \
Every case is different, and in my situation, Robert suggested to take it all the way to superior court to a jury trial since according to his experience, my case had plenty of evidence in my favor and had a real shot at winning. I followed Robert’s advice and went to trial, in which Robert did an excellent job in addressing the jury and presenting evidence in my defense. The jury could not come to a decision and was pretty evenly split on a guilty/not guilty verdict which ended in a mistrial. However, thanks to Robert, everything worked out in my favor since his negotiation with the DA led to the dismissal of my DWI charge, and Robert also prevented my license from being suspended due to the speeding infraction. All in all, Robert Reeves is an absolutely outstanding, experienced trial lawyer. With Robert you definitely get what you pay for, and since all cases are different, even if such great results as mine might not be an option, hiring Robert Reeves will definitely ensure the best possible outcome for your case.

Back on June 24th, 2023, I was cruising on my motorcycle, minding my own business, when out of the blue, this lady popped up out of nowhere and t-boned me going at least 50 mph and speeding! It sent me flying off my bike like something out of an action movie, easily 20-30 feet away.
I ended up with some battle scars - four broken bones, my collarbone, and a few ribs. My collarbone still gives me some grief, but I'm hanging in there.
The next day, I decided to give Ponce Law a call. Spoke to Nina, and she got the ball rolling. David Wyatt even swung by my place to check on me and get me signed up.
I gotta give a shout-out to Cheyenne and Brian. They did their thing, no doubt. The lady who hit me had no insurance and a laundry list of citations from our accident.
Now, why'd I pick Ponce Law, you ask? Simple – I'm a fan of that show with Paul Sr. from Orange County Choppers. He's in one of their commercials, giving his stamp of approval., I love that show, and I trust Paul Sr.'s word and boy was he right!
