Nadine is very good! She’s so sweet and very busy! She takes time to discuss things with you and go through everything so you aren’t confused. If your case is anything like mine it’s lots of paperwork because your ex husband won’t stop taking you to court for every little thing. She is trying to help make that stop. I just wanted to take a minute to say how amazing Nadine was when we dealt with her. She was meant to be an Advocate for the child’s best interest, and she truly dug deep to really see and understand both parties while keeping in mind what was best for the child.
She changed her court order when she saw that one party clearly did not have respect for the court. Because of that action- she recommended reunification counseling. Anyone who has been separated from a child knows that isolation from one parent can have a huge affect on a child and whether or not they want to see the other parent, even if the other parent has done nothing wrong. The counseling allows the child to reconnect with the other parent with no barriers or influence. I feel it’s key in a custody battle especially when most law enforcement jurisdictions don’t force visitation. We spent a year in court trying every possible way to see her even-though we already had 50/50 custody . She listened to our pain and struggle when no one had before. As the Wife of a husband who has tried dearly to be part of his daughters life for over a decade with very little success, and no obvious allies, she stepped in and quickly saw the situation for what it was, someone finally to see the injustices that we had been experiencing for years, she did what was in the child’s best interest, she didn’t take sides she just went on the evidence that was presented before her, and I thank God for that, she was an angel to us. She is the only one who we ever felt cared, and really wanted to repair the situation for the child sake, she didn’t favor the mother, she didn’t favor the father.
She went with what they revealed to her in there many meetings and Conversations. She is truly a public servant who really cares about reunifying families whenever ever possible. I feel she went above and beyond the call of duty, and I will be eternally grateful.

I was going through a horrible divorce and custody issues. I had contacted and consulted with about 10 to 15 lawyers/lawfirms befire finding Dominique. I was about to give up and then meeting with her gave me hope. The others were wasting my time and money, playing games and not listening to my needs whatsoever as a mother going through a divorce. I was in need of a divorce attorney and a friend referred me to Dianne Butler‘s firm. She has been amazing to work with because when I first filed, I was living in California. Then, I moved out of state and she was able to handle my case through emails and phone calls all the while, I was 3,000 miles away. She was very clear as to what I needed and what the outcome could be. She was smooth and effective in court and I was able to attend through a telephone call. She helped me attain the goals of what I wanted…..She was worth my money!

I want to commend Mike's efforts and recognize him for an outstanding job on my behalf. His diligence and efficiency in getting the settlement agreement drafted, reviewed and signed all on the same day we reached an agreement is virtually unheard of and very much appreciated.
What could have been a protracted and horribly expensive process was resolved with minimal friction and at a comparatively modest cost for all parties. The initial counterproposal we received looked like we were headed for a dogfight. His realistic, disciplined approach kept everyone, including opposing counsel, focused on obtaining a fair result for both parties.

My divorce and custody battle was one of the most drawn out, stressful processes because of some very large issues that occurred with my ex-husband. Jennie studied my case and knew my history and story inside out and backwards. She answered every question and took every issue very seriously. She worked tirelessly for me and the best interest of my daughter. She was the calm in the storm for me. Her level of integrity is outstanding. Michael Dyer was one of the first calls I made during an extremely difficult period of my life. I had zero knowledge about separation and divorce. All I knew was I needed it done and with guidance. My very first
call with him he gave me an explanation with great detail about what it would entail and the proper steps to take in order to proceed with my divorce. He made sure I felt comfortable and that my needs were met as well as making sure I had everything to gain and wasn’t being taken advantage of from my ex partner. Mike doesn’t only exceed his expectations as a lawyer but made me feel safe as for someone like myself with emotional and learning disabilities. I appreciated his willingness to be patient with me. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer to represent them including friends, family, peers.

For the last 12 years, I have been dealing with lawyers, both professionally and in my personal life, unfortunately. I trust Mr. Dyer and his firm like I trust my family. Anytime I had an issue pop up throughout the duration of my cases, they were quick to come to bat for me and they always produced the best result. It didn't take long for me to learn they take pride and care in all cases, large or small, high-profile or just your average person. After witnessing Mr. Dyer fiercely battle for my children, I was not surprised when I later learned he too was a parent. This gentleman treats his clients like they're family, and he fights for them like they're family. Additionally, he has taken the expert knowledge of the field and communication capability to a level of perfection - this was particularly helpful for me as our court systems legal lingo can most times be difficult to follow. It's truly remarkable to witness him manipulate the law so exquisitely and brilliantly. I am very happy with my results with Mr. Dyer and his firm, and I am grateful for their loyalty and compassion in my family's darkest time of need. I came across Jeffrey after our "candidate" lawyer retired, and he suggested we contact Jeffrey. We met with him, discussed the case and he laid out the process and the pros and cons of the entire process very well.
The divorce case took about 10 months to solve the divorce and the child custody. The whole time Jeffrey was always available and kept us up to date with everything.
At the trial, Jeffrey presented bank records and income statements showing the Respondent was hiding income, and the award in the case was very fair and more than expected! Great job.
I appreciated the fact that as the case went along, we worked together to gather facts and he did all the lawyer stuff- and did a great job.

I used sarah in 2017 for an amendment to my original divorce settlement. She was recommended by a friend who had used her for a contentious divorce. I did not want to use my original family attorney and I was specifically looking for a strong negotiator.
Our first meeting (paid consultation in 2016) was extremely informative. My original settlement was poorly written and I wanted Sarah’s help in amending it. Sarah laid out a game plan and was very forthright about my options. She’s strategic, wise, and excellent communicator. She gives attorneys a good reputation too as she was very honest with her billing.
I only wish I had retained her for my original settlement as I believe I would have spent half the time litigating and would have had an air tight order.
My experience with Sarah was she’s a non nonsense, get the job done phenomenal negotiator who has the empathy to deal with sensitive, complex family issues and knowledge to litigate and resolve custody disputes. I highly recommend her.

Sarah was my attorney for an unforeseen divorce case in Fulton County - perhaps one of the best decisions I've ever made. From day one, and on short notice, Sarah guided me through the process, explaining the procedural issues and time frames, the legal and jurisdictional requirements, the parties involved and how they may affect the ultimate outcome, and my role in the process. She was also very transparent about fees and how I would be billed. Any time she and I needed to speak via phone, Sarah was extremely considerate of my time (and money) and made sure to answer questions in the most succinct way possible while providing me with just enough information to feel comfortable about key decisions. Sarah had an amiable relationship with our family law judge in Fulton County, which made me feel even more at ease with the divorce process. Always professional and poised, when Sarah did need to push opposing counsel to adhere to the rules of the court system, it was done in a firm yet polished way. From the first correspondence between our attorneys, it was clear that Sarah was leaps and bounds ahead of opposing counsel in education, skill, and relationships.
The bottom line is that Sarah provides top-notch legal counsel for an hourly rate which is half that of some other firms in Atlanta. If anyone ever needs any legal counsel related to divorce or family law, I will recommend Sarah McCormack without hesitation.

First, the most paramount part of a case is not the lawyer but being honest with your story and having the evidence to support it. If you go in wanting any lawyer to fight for something based off anger and vengeance, don’t get mad at them if they don’t win.
Mr. Marraffino and his team are ethical and compassionate. They will be straight forward with you and can assist you better if you are straight forward with them. I would suggest them to anyone I know in the area going through a family case, custody battle or divorce. After researching many other lawyers in the area we chose him based off of his years of experience in family law and his great reviews. After our first meeting with him and his team we felt confident in our choice.
During the 16 month arduous Custody and Divorce case they spent countless hours listening to our story, keeping notes and records, following up with us, taking tearful phone calls and they never backed down from the challenges presented to them. I took the help of Mr. Marraffino to fight my divorce case. Half the battle was already won when my husband came to know that I have hired such a reputed lawyer, and hence I did get an easy mutual divorce. Words just can't express how grateful I am to have hired Alita as my attorney. I had a custody trial coming up in a month and my prior attorney could no longer help me. I had a two hour consultation with Mr. Lastra concerning my pending divorce and custody matter.
I have multiple children with my spouse, including a stepchild from their previous marriage whose life I've been a part of since they were very little. Shortly into our meeting, Mr. Lastra asked me about my children and whether our relationship was biological, and then explained very compassionately that - unfortunately - if it were contested by either or both of their biological parents, he would not be able to guarantee me custody of or access to my stepchild as a de facto parent. He assured me that if he were representing me and I truly did want to pursue it against all odds that he would do everything in his power to help, but cautioned that it would likely be a long and costly uphill battle with an uncertain outcome.
As heartbreaking as that was to hear, Mr. Lastra was the first lawyer to really prioritize and ask about my concerns for the children rather than choose to focus on my spouse and our finances and marital property. His honesty about that - the one outcome I care most about - gave me peace of mind that he wasn't just telling me what I want to hear to get me to sign his retainer.
Additionally, while his consultation was not free, without my even having to ask, Mr. Lastra was extremely considerate of my budget. At the very beginning of the meeting, he verified the hourly rate that I had been quoted previously and told me how long his consultations with other people typically lasted. Then, every twenty minutes or so, he was kind enough to let me know how much billable time had elapsed and allowed me to set the pace of our discussion accordingly.
Throughout the rest of our meeting, Mr. Lastra was both extremely inquisitive and educational. Rather than simply listen to my account of events, he engaged frequently, asking regular questions and taking notes. He also shared a wealth of his own knowledge, pulling from both general law and process as well as experiences gained from similar cases he'd handled in the past. During our consultation, I felt both well listened to and that I was speaking with an obvious expert.
Prior to our meeting, I had discussed this matter with a few other lawyers, and while they were all quite professional and empathetic, none of them felt like they were being as realistic with me about the possible timelines, outcomes, costs, and the availability of themselves and their associates to adequately represent me and my family's interests as Mr. Lastra did. Though his rates are above average, my first impression from my consultation is that there is very good justification for it. He has absolutely earned my endorsement.
