Ms. Warner and I worked on a Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for my LLC I began with my comrades. Getting in contact with her was smooth and she ensured we stayed abreast of all hurdles and and overall progress. She kept us informed of the small intricacies that go into formulating such a detailed pair of documents. Angela has represented my family for 3 years and she is amazing! I have restraining order, custody, and child support case against my ex who is a political figure. Angela is amazing for many reasons but here are my top 3: she knows the law and the judges; she is tech savvy; she is empathetic.
When I was assigned judge Nöel Wise Angela recommended we switch judges and she was so right! Also, when my ex attempted to divert the case to his political egotistical self, she redirected the case back to the well-being of our son.
Second, I text Angela (Yes, TEXT) if anything comes up, like an R.O. violation, and she responds quickly with a call or text.
Third, she understands survivors of domestic violence in the justice system- sometimes the system is not just. However, she advocates strongly for justice! I really trust her with everything!

Angela was my lawyer in a domestic violence restraining order case. I called several lawyers in the Bay Area while looking for a good fit, and Angela by far made the best impression on me. The first time we spoke on the phone, we spoke for quite a while at no charge. She went through how she would handle the case and I was impressed with her strategy. It was evident that she really cared about my situation, as was not out to just make money. She even gave me the name of another lawyer that did sliding scale work in case I needed a lower-cost option. In the end, I went with Angela, and I am so glad that I did! She was always on top of things, has a very solid knowledge of family law, was always prompt, and always had a solid strategy for how to move forward. During the entire case, the opposing counsel was trying everything possible to make the process harder for me, and frequently dragged their feet on things that needed to get done in the case. Angela took over several tasks that really should have been the responsibility of the opposing counsel because she wanted the best outcome possible. She did not even charge me for these things, which was very generous.
In the end, Angela was simply a much better lawyer than the opposing counsel and was able to negotiate a settlement, which saved me a lot of money. Everything that I wanted Angela was able to get for me, including a long-term restraining order and required anger management for the respondent. Angela was even able to get a significant part of my lawyers fees paid for by the opposing side. I could not have gotten nearly as much without her.
This was an extremely difficult situation for me to deal with, but Angela made me feel like there was someone on my side. If you are looking for a family lawyer, you will be hard pressed to find someone better than Angela.

Jeffrey Witliff is one of the BEST. Kind and compassionate . Prior to retaining him I was able to consult with him and give me my options. From the start he was very transparent on what could happen. He is now my forever family law attorney. He assisted me for a DVRO hearing and trial with my ex fiancé. As my now ex-wife and I finally decided to end our marriage the idea of searching for a lawyer felt like a completely dreadful process that I was not looking forward to at all. This was not because I wanted to stay married, we both wanted out.

Let me first state that Mrs. Cutrona was my first lawyer: EVER!!!! Never did I image I would ever have to get a lawyer in my life, let alone for custody reasons. This is how I embody Attorney Carolyn Harris. I have just ended a 1 1/2 year guardianship/custody "Battle". I have been the legal guardian of my grandchild and the biological father wanted sole custody. Carolyn came highly recommended from a Los Angeles Attorney. She was forthright with all of the issues that I would encounter. I had the end goal in mind and she chipped away at each of the legal procedures that were needed to attain my goal. I had a very slim chance of retaining guardianship but Attn. Harris was methodical, professional, and in tune with all of the procedures that were needed for each step. She is a TRUE professional. I recently reached out to Attorney Melissa Pendergrass about my current legal situation and after speaking with me she explained she was no longer focused on the type of representation I was requiring. She was extremely knowledgeable about my legal problem but felt I was better suited for another attorney! I felt a review was the least I could do seeing as she took the time to hear me out for free and refer me to another attorney she felt was best suited for my situation. It's difficult to find someone who will put your best interest in front of there financial gain and for this reason alone i felt she showed her true character that my outcome meant more than her bottom line! I highly recommend Drury Pullen a Professional Law Corporation for family law representation. My child custody and divorce case spanned over a year given its complexity. At the beginning, I had the opportunity to work briefly with Jennifer Drury but later I extensively worked with Susanna Pullen. Both attorneys were responsive, compassionate and professional.
Susanna is proficient in many areas as an attorney but the areas I was most impressed with as a client were Susanna’s ability to: 1) assimilate information quickly and respond effectively, 2) write a clear and convincing brief, and 3) prepare and craft questions for witnesses.
Susanna demonstrated over and over her keen ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure at court hearings and at trial. Susanna’s ability to absorb new information and assimilate it with old information was very impressive. For example, during a trial lunch break, Susanna quickly processed newly submitted doctor’s notes and evaluations. Susanna came back to court and was able to use the information to ask discerning questions of subsequent witnesses and to integrate the new information into her summation.
From the beginning, Susanna’s extensive knowledge of family law was clearly reflected within the briefs she submitted to the court. Her briefs were well written and conveyed strong convincing arguments for the outcomes we were seeking. Susanna took care to accurately reference and cite important points as the case progressed.
Susanna was also outstanding at thinking on her feet in the court room during the cross examination of witnesses. Before trial, Susanna took the time to understand who the witnesses were and what they might testify. Susanna’s preparation laid a solid foundation for the thoughtful questions she asked witnesses. Susanna however was not constrained by the questions she prepared. Susanna actively listened to the answers of witnesses and in multiple instances she asked important follow-up questions in response to what witnesses had just testified.
Throughout the year-long process, Susanna didn’t promise any specific court outcome. Instead, Susanna provided honest, upfront, and realistic feedback throughout the ongoing child custody and divorce process so that I was able to manage my expectations appropriately. The child custody and divorce process was arduous and required my active collaboration and participation. I really appreciated Susanna Pullen’s expertise and I highly recommend her as a family law attorney.

Absolutely loved having Steven as my attorney. I had to unfortunately seek assistance with a divorce and Steven gave me a great initial consultation where we were not only able to talk about options, but put a plan in place for how we’d like to go forward (I came prepared with financial and asset information). The consultation was two hours long and he didn’t even charge for that first consultation. As things progressed Steven was able to quickly prepare documents and was able to continue to provide legal counsel when it was required - even ad hoc. Because Steven runs his own firm, he doesn’t have to maintain a staff of paralegals which made the retainer we agreed upon go that much further. If I ever require legal advice, counsel or a retained attorney, Steven will be the first on my list.

I trusted Jaime to handle my restraining order case, not knowing how involved the case would become after a year and a half. Mr Dunn is a GREAT attorney. He is patient and very straight forward. I went in and had an unachievable goal for my custody case and he stopped me and told me exactly what I should be asking for and explained WHY. He didn't treat me like I was dumb or ridiculous, just that my idea was not rational. He got me exactly what he told me he would. The minute you meet him you respect him. His paralegal Dina is also extremely helpful. She doesn't have the same way with words as Mr Dunn but she does her job and does it right. (Sorry Dina if you read this) There are several other people who answer the phone and greet you at the office who are also pleasant and sweet. I know my case was by far not their biggest financially, but they treated me like it was. I hope I never have to see Mr Dunn again, but if I do I hope he is still available.

I finally got to entering my review of my experience with Mr. Dunn. Divorce is never fun, so I have taken time to separate myself from the experience before writing my thoughts. In summary, if you are going to hire a lawyer, then you won't go wrong by hiring Mr. Dunn and, i will guess, you wont find a better one.
My first experience with Mr. Dunn was when he represented my now wife in her divorce. She faced alot of intimidation and bullying as she started her divorce from her ex and his cult-like family. Jeff helped to steady her and, through his knowledge and expertise and personality, helped her to gain confidence and strength in this process. It was enjoyable to observe him work against the other party and she reports that his courtroom demeanor is steady and confident.
My second experience was in my postdecree case against my ex-wife for cohabitation. His approach of confidence and knowledge helped me to have my maintenance payments stopped. She and her party wanted to settle instead of court, so I missed out on watching him in action.
Im not sure that the above words do justice to his abilities.
Its not likely you will find a more knowledgable attorney.
If he doesnt know it, he will tell you and seeek the answer.

Brian is an exceptional attorney. He is thoughtful, considerate and is eager to find common ground. While many attorney's are eager to pick a fight, he works hard to help settle issues by highlighting what's important. That said he is both firm and forceful when necessary.
My divorce was particularly difficult and drawn out. It had a high degree of complexity involving a GAL and other child related issues. Brian was able to lay out a plan of attack and get to core issues quickly. He kept me well informed throughout the process and understood nuances of the legal system that other attorney's were not only unaware of but had no idea of how to use to their advantage.
On a personal note, he was phenomenal to work with. In the end we won and my children are thankful for it. I regularly recommend him to friends of mine that are in need of a good attorney and are going through divorce and especially those with complex child custody related issues.

Brian was/is my divorce attorney. I hired him on the advice of a friend who went through a messy divorce (mine was too), and it was the best thing I did during my divorce. He's helped with a couple of follow up issues in the years since.
The main thing I liked about Brian is that he was calm and measured. My ex would do something horrible, or make some outrageous legal claim, and I would start to respond with some of the same, and Brian would calmly explain why my I should not do so, and why her approach was probably going to be counter productive to her. This measured approach dialed down the intensity of the fight even though her attorney was a barracuda, which led to a fair divorce settlement out of court with less stress for everyone, and the kids in particular.
The other thing Brian did was write an incredibly thorough legal separation document - so long that the judge remarked on its length, but it has been a god send. My ex is constantly trying to come up with some new interpretation of our agreement, some new way in which she does less, or pays less, and has more, but she cannot because all the terms are in the separation agreement.
If you are looking for a lawyer out of a court-room drama, Brian is not for you. He's not going to come up with convoluted legal arguments and claim that you will get everything you want (which is not going to happen anyway). If you are looking for an adult, a serious lawyer who is going to gently but firmly guide you to a more successful outcome for you (and your kids), then I think you'll be happy if you hire him.

I interviewed Eric about six months ago. He seemed right like the right fit for my needs. And he was. At first, he tried to be reasonable and work with my ex to get me the support I needed and was entitled to receive. After a while, though, it was clear the my ex had no intention of paying, so Eric changed his approach and became very aggressive. Unfortunately, my ex still resisted, but it didn't matter. At that point Eric filed a for a hearing and I was awarded child support that was three times more than what my ex wanted to pay. Is Eric the cheapest lawyer out there? No. But you get what you pay for. I started with the cheapest lawyer and got cheap results. That is to say I got no results. However, I bet you my ex now wishes he would have cooperated. I strongly recommend Eric. He is honest and will tell you what to expect from the beginning!

Kelley was my second attorney in Maryland during my divorce after I had to fire my first attorney. My first experience with a family law attorney did not go well; I was very guarded after having to fire my first attorney and my expectations were not high. Kelley completely turned around this view for me. She was competent, professional, hard working, and advocated for my rights. My divorce was heading in the wrong direction and she brought this back in line for me. The court decides what is fair, but Kelley was able to craft my separation agreement into something that I felt favorable about. No matter where you are in your search for a lawyer, add Kelley to the list of lawyers you must speak with before choosing one. She has my highest possible recommendation. From day one, she represented the very best that could be hoped for in a family lawyer. She was the fifth lawyer I spoke to, and the only one to actually listen. I came on here 6 months ago confused, hurt, and looking for help when my husband who walked out on us 3 months prior filed for custody of the children. My husband was abusive verbally, emotionally, and physically but I unfortunately had very very little proof. He is extremely narcissistic, and I honestly never thought I could escape him, even after his leaving he continued to haunt me by trying to snatch the kids I worked so hard to protect from him just to hurt me (knowing this is my weak point) to make matter harder, I couldn't file for divorce because of religion, which he knew exactly how to use against me. I am saying all this just to show how completed this case was, but Sarah Jennifer Jacobs (with JacobsBerger in Morristown) was GOD SENT. And that's even an understatement. I came to her with my case and she was extremely understanding, empathetic, and knowledgeable. She took so much time studying my case and religion as to be prepared for this case. She answered emails regularly and promptly herself, even on holidays. Made sure I was comfortable with every step she took, stayed super late to make sure my papers that were submitted were to my liking, and even the day of trial, asked me to do the zoom from her office (so I feel more confident) and offered to get me lunch. She's a true human with a soul and not a money thirsty lawyer that just wanted to prolong my case so she can keep earning. She faced a "NJ top lawyer" that specializes in fathers rights, and she didn't even stand a chance against Sarah. She was strategic, knowledgeable, prepared, and have a hell of an oral argument that made the judge see right through the myriads of lies and fake evidence my husband had against me (because ofcourse he wouldn't settle and wanted to take it to the judge). She was able to capture 17 years worth of incidences in a precise written statement that made me cry reading it, because it was as she lived it with me. can't possibly say enough about this amazing lawyer and human. I honestly hugged her after the trial as if she was my angel that gave my kids back. I promise I am not exaggerating here, if you've even dealt with narcissistic, you know how horrific that experience is, and to have a lawyer that as good as Sarah, made this almost easy.

Samantha did her best to resolve a case involving dealing with very difficult people on the defendant’s side, who were doing everything possible to stall the case by any means necessary. While attorneys on both sides are supposed to work to resolve the problem, this wasn’t the case. Samantha has to do all the work by herself while dealing with terrible people on the defender’s side. She is highly astute, hardworking lawyer at the rise of her carrier and eventually will be running the company she works for now or her own firm.
I only regret that the firm she was working for(even though they warned me that annulment would be much harder to achieve than regular divorce) did not push harder to explain to me that it will cost me x3 - x6 times more if I pursued that option, which I did, and lost a lot of money, just to get a regular divorce at the end anyway because the costs kept rising and I said “enough” when I paid over $30,000 and the case was far from resolved... If I knew that from the very beginning, I would never pursue the annulment scenario and would’ve saved a ton of money by doing simple divorce. But it was in no way Samantha’s fault as “the client is always right” and I did say that I wanted annulment from the very beginning... Again, my only regret is that I wish the firm would try much harder to dissuade me from taking this very expensive route in my case, but since it meant much more money to the firm, I can understand why they did not push hard enough to tell me about much greater costs.
Again, it has nothing to do with the high quality work Samantha did during the case, as she is an excellent lawyer. And if her superiors at the firm, told her not to push hard against me changing to a simpler divorce case instead of annulment, she had to follow the company’s orders. And I give her overall work an excellent rating, as she was kind, professional, supportive, cared about the best outcome of the case for me and accomplished that very best outcome. A+ for Samantha.
