I worked on 2 different cases with her. One for consultation to launch a business with my partner. And another one was to build a paper contract for my existing business. Both of the case, she took time to break down to help me understand very well, and that was a big eye opening experience for me. As a small business owner, it makes me feel so safe and protected knowing I have someone who is very helpful and devoted like her. She works very quick.
I highly recommend to work with her, especially for female entrepreneurs.

Although it was determined after Mr. Sakoda and I communicated by email that I would need Family Law representation for my legal situation, Mr. Sakoda was extremely helpful in offering me advice regarding a Family Trust, very quick to respond during our dialog and a compassionate person.

In our family experience, we have gone through three -(3) Lawyers, but we were not satisfied with their work we requested. We needed a legalized Will written to assure others won't have the ability to take away assets and properties that the deceased will leave to the appointed person/caretaker. But each Laywer we went to and paid to write the Will, were not exactly how we explained to them and therefore the Will needed to be rewritten. Instead of having the same Lawyer to redo the Will, we seek another Lawyer. A friend recommended Mr. Richard Sakoda. We met with him, asked questions and he were straight-forward with his answers. We told him our situation and what we wanted done. He immediately commenced working on the issue that we wanted fixed of which previous Lawyers we went to did not do unless we paid additional fee. Mr. Sakoda accomplished the Will the way we exactly wanted it to be done and completed it in a timely manner. We are now releived that no one; especially other family members, will not be able to intrude and be disruptive in making every effort to take-away or be a part owner of properties and assets that the deceased leave behind to the appointed person.
Mr. Sakoda is a good listener with unique combination of intuitive and analytical abilities. I highly recommend Mr. Sakoda to any person seeking assistance in writting a legalized Will as he is a professional and one of the best Lawyers that provides satisfaction guarantee to his clients.

Emma Hemness did estate planning for me and set up a special needs trust for my son. I found her to be kind, compassionate, intelligent and professional. There is much to be considered when leaving behind a child (at whatever age) who can't take care of himself. I have been blessed to have this young man in my life. Ms. Hemness thought of everything. She helped me to create a trust including a special needs trust and put together a living will. She helped me to consider end of life choices and create a power of attorney. The power of attorney will allow a family member an easy transition to administer my estate and help my son at my passing. She did all this while insuring my son would not be deprived of the social safety net that is helping him now. I am more than grateful to her for making something very difficult like this possible. Recently, I retained the services of Menzer & Hill, PA for a case verses a large financial services company. Michael Hill believed I had justification and agreed to represent me. He requested an arbitration hearing through FINRA and it was granted.
The arbitration was conducted via zoom with counsel from both sides and a single arbitrator.
Mr. Hill went above and beyond researching, preparing and presenting my case. He kept in constant communication with me throughout the entire case. His attention to detail during the three-day arbitration was impressive.
As a small investor, I did not think I had a chance against a large financial services corporation, but Mr. Hill won this case with facts and his expertise of the law. A satisfactory and sizable judgment was granted by the arbitrator.

my name is rich james. i was duped by a financial firm in boca raton in 2011 with promises that the money i had could be conservatively invested to match or exceed where i had previously kept the savings. this money manager knew i was physically disabled unable to generate any more income. the investments lost money month after month, i was flabbergasted looking at my monthly statements, my complaints were always answered in the same disingenuous way with promises that never materialized. it sickened me when i realized i was duped. i felt shame that i should have known better and taken action sooner. fast forward to 2013 when i felt i was ready to roll up my sleeves and sue this firm to recoup my losses. the florida bar referral service referred me to an attorney in west palm beach who claimed to have expertise in this area, well he didn't and was billing me over a prolonged period of time, by the hour, for abysmal results. now i had to extracate myself from this new nightmare: i called back the florida bar referral service with valid complaints about this referral's performance, they then referred me to michael hill. i had a free consultation with mr hill which comes with the fee paid to the florida bar referral service: mr hill listened to every word of my story then proceeded to tell me about his expertise in this financial area and how we could resolve it. this is exactly what happened: for a very affordable lat fee, mr hill saw to it that i recouped the full amount of the actual damages stated in my lawsuit. the additional bonus came when he related to me that i could contest the remaining balance i owed the previous attorney by supplying me with some ways to get info and help. this is exactly what i did on my own empowered by mr hill: i asked for a $3,000 reduction in the previous attorney's bill, he brought it to his management and they granted the full amount. they knew i was working with mr hill as he had requested records of what had been done thusfar on my case. this was resolved last year at this time. the reason i took so long to write this review was i knew i couldn't fully express how well mr hill helped me in an egregious situation. i will never be able to thank him enough. mr hill beyond your years of experience on both sides of financial arbitration cases, the humanity you brought to my case's circumstances will never be forgotten, your expertise and how you practice it is extraordinary in terms i can't fully express. i send you and yours the best thoughts and wishes always! :)

Dan Carlson worked hard to put together our recently concluded FINRA arbitration claim against a securities brokerage even though it was for a relatively small amount. I was impressed by his willingness to spend time explaining what we were doing and why. I never felt rushed or made to feel stupid for asking factual or procedural questions. He was responsive and pleasant, with a good perspective about the task. I can't think of how he could have been better to work with, and I've consistently worked with lawyers for the last 35 years. My husband and I decided to offer our son as part of his graduation present, a will... This may sound extremely unusual I can admit but if you think about it, they are legally adults and most likely leaving home for college. What if, God forbids, something was to happen to them? How many of us have taken the time to ask our children if they want to be cremated or buried? DNR? How much information can we get if them end up in a hospital because of the privacy/ HIPPA rules? What about their bank accounts/ credit cards/ loans? Completely unnatural for a parent to think that something tragic could happen to our adult children but trust me, the peace of mind that Henry provided to our family is priceless.

When I heard that my mother-in-law might be eligible for VA benefits, a friend suggested calling Shepherd Elder Law Group. They were able to provide me with all paper work that was required, a list of items that would be needed and then explained how to obtain needed documents. After paper work was completed, we had a meeting to check that all was done correctly, so that process would not be slowed down by missing or incorrect documentation. I am so grateful to Deeb Elder Law. My mother had always been a very independent (read stubborn) lady until COVID 19. She was so ill and was hospitalized several times, but amazingly recovered. Still it took so much away from her mental and physical capacity. It also required her to move to a long-term care facility.

Tom Burke represented us with success in a dispute with an investment counselor. More than anything else, he was responsive and reactive to our information, asked questions on a need to know basis and kept us informed with developments. He was candid with his assessment of our posture, creative in his prosecution of our claim and persistent in his settlement posture. I got a referral to Asaf Agazanof through a friend who had used him for another Lemon Law situation. On the initial call he was able to understand the issue very well and asked for a few items to start the case. Within 2 weeks time he provide me with the documents he had submitted to the manufacture (German Car Maker). Less than 6 weeks later he had my settlement which was better than what I had expected. Needless to say, he was very communicative and was on top of everything. The process was very easy although the manufacture was very hard to deal with.

My wife and I used Brian and team for our real estate transaction for our first home. As first time home buyers, my wife and I were very nervous about this process as we had never bought a home and have had some friends who had awful experiences. Brian was so on top of the situation, and never went a day without checking in with us. He was free for late night phone calls as well since my wife and I work during the day.
In the end, I have two main takeaways aside from what I listed above:
1. Trustworthiness: Brian doesn't sugar coat the good, bad, and ugly. The home buying process is full of ups and downs and Brian will be sure to be honest and make sure you are informed.
2. Negotiation skills: Brian got us way more than we expected after inspection and advocated on our behalf to the seller. He has done this a million times so understands when you are in the driver's seat and when you shouldn't be so aggressive.

In late 2007 I was with a stockbroker from New York. At first everything seemed ok and then everything went bad very quickly. The agent was making unauthorized trades over $1,150,000 on margin when my account had about $ 240,000 in equity. I really did not understand what was happening. When I contacted Richard Stephens, He was very Professional and reassuring. Mr. Stephens. then reviewed the files, did his own investigation and found that the brokerage firm was using an unregistered securities firm, further that the brokers were involved in fraudulent activities and conduct. Mr. Stephens decided a course of action and filed a complaint with FINRA. During the FINRA hearings the brokerage firm was always late, witnesses not available and many other reasons to delay. Mr. Stephens was very aggressive in stopping these actions and bringing out what really happened. Mr. Stephens expertise and presentation to the FINRA hearing officers resulted in a positive outcome for me. From the start to the finish Mr. Stephens was always available and kept me updated at all times on what was happening. .I firmly believe that Mr. Stephens is a honest and fair man. As an Attorney it is my opinion that there is no finer or more capable than Richard Stephens. If I ever need another attorney, I will definitely contact Mr. Stephens. After a death, the last thing you want to do is worry about someone liquidating your fathers assets. This is what my sisters and I had to face a week after burying our dad. Due to him not having a will things where really complicated and his wife tried to take advantage of the situation. A family friend referred us to Bill and he has been a breath of fresh air throughout this entire process. Her attorney has been procrastinating the entire time and Bill has been on him like white on rice! Bill is very much to the point- no BS so if you want to be coddled then this one isn't for you. But, if you want the facts and someone that is going to give it to you straight while fighting for what's right then Bill is your guy. I highly recommend his team to anyone going through probate or a family settlement agreement. He's expensive but well worth the money I promise!

I was recommended to Mr. Tam by a fellow co-worker which found him through the internet. Mr. Tam helped me with a garnishment, and also with my bankruptcy (ch 7). I owed over 24k, and for a fraction of the cost he got it done. Very professional, and he knows the system very well.

Dan was amazing. He took on my case to quash a default judgement that I had received. The default judgement was received without proper process service and in the wrong venue.
Dan interviewed me, created an Affidavit and wrote a 24 page motion to dismiss. The motion was extremely well written. Within days of submitting to the court the judgment was vacated and the case dismissed.
