I met Matt when both of my parents were going downhill physically and mentally. My mom had been sick for years and my dad had just suffered a massive stroke. Both of my parents were under age 70. I have 3 siblings and we all agreed we needed guidance. I don't know how we could have done it without him. With his guidance and knowledge we were able to actually retain some of my parents assets that otherwise would have gone straight to the nursing home. Matt's knowledge of the Medicaid system can only be described as PRICELESS!
Many people cringe when you tell them you had to hire an attorney and the first thing they ask is "Is he expensive?" Our experience with Matt left us with more than we would have had if we had not hired him. I feel like he took so much stress out of the Medicaid nightmare and let us focus on being there for our parents.
I have referred many friends to Matt and have received many thanks from them. I have actually referred to him as " my guardian angel"!! He is easy to work with and his assistant, Lisa is always available for questions and has become a true friend.

I am writing this review to inform you that I have been completely satisfied with Ms. Couch. I was overwhelmed with annoying phone calls and letters regarding several debt collectors that seemed to me to be way too aggressive and intrusive. I contacted Ms.Couch and she was very impressive with her knowledge of the Law and my rights. She advised me on a course of action that would rid me of these calls. We had an ongoing warranty issue with a large purchase that was not being resolved by the manufacture. We were referred to Patrick buy another attorney and he did not disappoint. Patrick had to deal with a challenging company that was very lazy when it came to communicating and addressing issues. Although it took a little longer than Patrick expected, (as mentioned the company was very lazy) he was able to secure a satisfactory resolution.

When we had to move Dad from Hospital to Nursing Home with an expectation of long term Medicaid needs, I needed good advice fast. Somehow I came across Bill’s first blog, where he said he saw himself as an elder advocate. Sounded like a nice guy, so I moved on to his main website and left a contact request over the weekend. When he returned my inquiry early on Monday morning he didn’t disappoint. So kind and helpful! Our situation was so simple it could really be handled by downloaded documents without an attorney. He offered an overview of the Medicaid process with really helpful insights that were not among the info I had unearthed in hours and hours of search and reading. I feel I can handle the Medicare and Medicaid application process with more confidence now. I am so grateful for his willingness to take 20 minutes to answer my questions. His answers really changed everything. If I had a more complex case I would certainly ask Bill to handle it.

I knew I found the right attorney for my contentious divorce and custody case after my initial consultation with Mr. Sutton. In the interest of full disclosure, I want to say upfront that I do have a personal relationship with Mr. Sutton. We have been friends since we were undergraduates together at our alma mater.
I hired Mr. Sutton to help me with an ancestry and Irish citizenship matter. I was a little nervous, anticipating many bureaucratic hurdles and endless piles of paperwork. Lucky for me, the paperwork seemed to be mostly taken care of on Mr. Sutton‘s end. I have barely had to do anything other than ask questions and occasionally review and sign documents. Mr. Sutton, on the other hand, has kept me apprised of the ongoing actions within the process, gave me realistic expectations for what the process would be like, and continues to help me understand tangential legal issues. He excels at explaining a legal situation and possible solutions or outcomes (though he is really not a big fan of ‘what if’ questions. I guess most lawyers aren’t). He is also particularly gifted at strategic thinking and maintaining his calm collected rationale. Which is particularly great if you’re like me and have an aggressive form of anxiety that is constantly worrying. He is clearly intelligent, which you notice pretty much right away, and it is a huge relief to have someone this smart in my corner helping me navigate through what can be a truly Byzantine process. Do yourself a favor. Hire him.

We were faced with two legal disputes with contractors who did very shoddy work at our home and refused to fix their mistakes. Mr. Denver filed one lawsuit in Ocean County Special Civil Part and another in Monmouth County Superior Court, Law Division. He was able to successfully resolve both matters extremely quickly, without protracted litigation, and obtained a settlement which allowed us to fix the shoddy work.
Mr. Denver is not only knowledgeable about the relevant laws concerning our cases, he has a tremendous depth of experience and is an outstanding negotiator and litigator, which was clearly reflected in his dealings with the plaintiffs. I would have faced a severely depleted financial retirement future had it not been for Mr. Denver's patient persistence in pursuit of Insurance coverage related to the excavation and remediation required as a result of oil seepage from an abandoned oil tank discovered in the process of my selling the house in which I had lived for 40 years, The soil contamination was found to be deep and close to the house foundation, requiring multiple installations of steel foundation supports. With the cost of the remediation building close to 6 figures, and the Insurance Company I had for over 40 years denying my initial Homeowners policy claim, I had the good fortune to have a friend recommend retaining Dr. Denver at the Denver Law Firm. Mr. Denver studied survey maps, engineer's and soil boring reports, and voluminous material and documents related to the Environment Company's work. He worked with me to gather as much documentation as I could find related to past insurance policies even though in the anticipation of moving, I had shredded ancient records. He pursued the Insurance Company to conduct a policy search, established sufficient proof of coverage going back many years, and through negotiations and persistence, and without litigation which could have taken years, successfully obtained for me a significant contribution from the Insurance company toward the cost of the remediation. Sharon Glassey, and her partner Chris Smith, recently handled a situation for me that could not have turned out better. I met with Mr. Cooper after attending one of his legacy wealth planning seminars. His staff was exceptionally cordial and we were very well-treated. Mr. Cooper spoke with my wife and I about our concerns, and we hired the firm to create an estate plan for us. It is very comforting to know we now have a plan in place in case one of us is disabled. The plan will end up saving us quite a bit of money by avoiding probate as well. I'm also pleased the Cooper Law Firm has a program in place to review our plan annually to keep up with changes in the law.

Glenn has been a godsend for our family, starting with setting up a Living Trust for my father and a Special Needs Trust for my brother. Brendan's work on my smallish (5 - 10k) claim against my condominium association was professional and competent. His rate of $300/hour was fair and he was conservative in his billing time. Mr. Oconner helped me obtain a civil judgement against a store that fraudulently got me to purchase their product that I would not have purchased if I would have known all the ingredients of the product. During the whole time while he was doing all the legal work to obtain this judgment he was very helpful to me by always explaining everything that was happening. He would always answer any and all of my questions either by phone or email right away. Often times doing so after business hours as my job had me working until after 5:00 pm. Vernon has been absolutely amazing. A year and half after I had been injured at work and after receiving medical treatment, it was time to start the settlement process. I was given an offer and wasn't sure if it was good. I found The Sumwalt Group on Google and saw the 5 star reviews. I reached out to them to see if I could get some advice. Vernon was the one to call me and gave me some wonderful free advice on countering and what would be a good amount. He also looked over the settlement agreement I received to make sure it wouldn't mess up any potential social security/disability in the future. Vernon made me feel like he cared and like he wanted the best for me on this settlement and helped me to avoid having to hire a lawyer and drag out the process.
