I always thought an "officer" did ethical things, like fight for a child's best interest, call out or allow testimony against the lies spoken about someone. I also once believed in justice, not that this matters to you. It's just a paycheck.
I am hopeful that someday you realize that in the interest of your paycheck you destroyed a young woman and her father. You don't care if a good man loses his car, home or job. You only care about winning and there's really nothing a decent person would need to hear beyond that. Maybe someday look deeper into the people whose lives you destroy in the interest of a buck. Because a man who can't afford an attorney can certainly afford to pay your wealthy narcissist the money he could have paid an attorney? I don't make $100k per year. I serve people. We don't make great money, you must know that. Oh, right but you presented lies about my pay to fool the judge.
Congratulations. Resting your case was well played when you don't care about the truth. I could have destroyed your client and her witnesses. Only one of them ever used to know me, the bipolar 54 year old who still lives in his mommy's basement, from high school! You have no idea what you've done. Someday I hope you do. It is a relief that I will never have to deal with the unethical likes of your firm again!

Would really not recommend, not thoughtful or caring during COVID and a very sad family matter. I’m still not sure how I was helped me for the amount of money I spent in a short time. I feel was taken advantage of me for 5,000 retainer and billed for each and every line item. As a single Mom, who didn’t have two incomes and during COVID we never even met or Facetime, never even met her online or other
. The sad lack of large financials as a single Mom was totally disregarded. Unfortunately not a good experience at all. Lawyers need to be held accountable for their work and not just bill to bill and make money. I don’t see how physicians are so regulated and lawyers have no regulations, it’s unethical.

Angela Grau and her team of attorneys, paralegals, administrative assistants and accounting department were top notch. Even though as the trustee and personal representative I could manage my mother's trust and estate, I knew nothing on how to defend my mother's trust from litigation. Angela was recommended to me by my mother's attorney who drew up the Maryland Will and Trust. I asked them for a referral. I will not go into details about my particular litigation. DARS was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, paid attention to detail, and helped me navigate the tasks of managing my mother's affairs after her passing. I will forever be thankful for their help. I highly recommend them.
I would like to update my review and make some comments about another attorney within DARS. My niece who lives in Howard County was in need of a top-quality family law attorney. I referred her to DARS and told her she will find a top-notch team to help her with some very serious issues. Once she contacted DARS she decided to utilize the services of Britton Gore. And just yesterday, April 13, my niece received a very positive decision on her case from the Howard Co Court. This portion of the review is secondhand, but I must say that everything that my adult niece and her mother told me about Ms. Gore was extremely positive. She was very prepared for the court proceedings and was able to methodically inform the court of the most important issues which led to their favorable decision. Ms. Gore listened to my niece and pursued evidence to help her tell her story to the court. They are thrilled with the outcome of the proceedings. Once again, thank you DARS for helping my family. Waste of money. Had absolutely no interest in helping me, especially after I paid him. It’s probably the only reason he showed up at court. But instead of having answers for me, he had compliments for the opposition. Along with his panicking demeanor, which made me too worried to go in front of the judge and defend myself with the truth!
If me giving consent to the PFA based on your advice is considered a successful resolution then that says it all. Not to mention the PFA was then used to obtain the criminal charges liar. Don’t worry, I will be reporting you to the BAR association

Called on a Saturday after another Attorney had cancelled on me 30 minutes before our meeting. Gary picked up even though his office was closed and calmed my nerves. Epic bad experience/waste of money, time and energy. To be succinct his staff couldn't be more rude and unhelpful which is actually the highlight of his practice. I made at least 13 unreturned phone calls to his office. With an impending hearing I felt desperate and disconnected from my case which involved my home. As my court date drew near I had no recourse but to call the Florida Bar. They were extremely professional and helpful and explained that they would send him a letter (which would take about 10 days). When I explained that my hearing was in less time than that they asked me to hold and called his office immediately. They returned to the line and indicated that he would be calling me. Surprisingly, he did. He was very agitated that I had the gaul to call the Bar. It was obvious that the only reason he called was because he was being exposed for the unprofessional he is. I wouldn't hire this guy to detail my car, much less do important legal work. You are the reason people group lawyers in with used car salesmen.

Super happy about how my divorce was handled. I called around and was shocked at how much attorneys charge. I found this firm and they quoted me a lower cost. They did a professional job and they didn't nickel and dime me. The court system took longer than I would have liked, but it was no fault of my attorney. She explained to me about how the courts work, and she worked with me to help settle all of the things that needed to get done. It was a rough time, but my attorney was great. My late aunt whom was in her 90's hired him as her attorney for her will. My aunt wanted to revoke her will and asked me to contact Mr. Diaz, I called 3 times In which his wife answered everytime and always had an excuse as to why he could not come to the phone, I told her my aunt wanted to talk to him about cancelling the will, Mrs Diaz said each time Mr. Diaz would call us back. We never got a return phone call back from him. Which resulted in many problems with the will after my Aunt passed away.

Used Dember through the legal benefit from my firm for two real estate transactions. It was a horrible experience from beginning to end. The title company sent him documentation twice, which he did not forward to me until 3 days before the supposed closing. I immediately determined there was an error and spent the 3 days before closing trying to get it fixed. The stress was unbelievable, and should have never happened since this could have been addressed easily if it had been presented to us on a timely basis. The other professionals in the transactions (2 title companies, 2 realtors, 3 banks) all indicated that they were appalled by the way Dember transacted his business. Then when it was the other party who had paperwork issues that held up closing, Dember merely communicated the offer from the seller that we should pay them $100 per day for usage and occupancy. It was our realtor, who was there at the meeting, who insisted that the problem was with the seller and we shouldn't have to pay. Our realtor contacted their realtor and got an agreement where we paid $200 just to keep things moving, or we would have been out $500 or more. A good lawyer would have seen that we paid nothing since it was the other party's problem. I wasn't going to bother writing a review because I would rather just forget about the entire experience but then felt guilty about anyone else who hired him without any idea of what they would experience.

Found him Googling and think someone mentioned him. Was a simple straight forward case one he specializes in.
Chuck seems like a clean cut person but always to busy. Office is nice. Gave me a price up front on phone. Never really talked with him or met him till later. Paid him right away. After that he was hard to reach.
I had just a few simple updates or questions. Almost ever returned simple voice messages or emails. If you get the answering machine don't leave a message. Call back later when the lady up front can answer.
I knew another person that used to pratice at one time. I had to go to them to clarify some simple questions / concerns. That was very helpfull but sad
Once the case ran it normal course he wanted more money to send the final paper work out. Yet this was part of the whole case the whole time. Still waiting on 2 emails and 2 calls to be returned cause of something he mentioned to call him about after the case was done. But he sure cashed the second check.

I used Bill for my divorce. I knew my divorce was going to be complicated as I was dealing with an abusive spouse, teenage children, little to no financial assets, and a spouse who made three times as much money as me. Bill was the third lawyer that I met with and he was the only one who showed me any kind of compassion. Upon hearing my case, he immediately started looking up similar cases and talking about strategy. I hired Bill and have been thankful ever since. He worded the final divorce papers in a way that protected my financial rights; gave my almost graduated teenage children the ability to choose which parent they wanted to stay with; and gave my children the financial support that they deserved. He also helped greatly in the negotiating process with my ex-spouse by being willing to go to court if we were not able to settle the divorce. Prior to meeting with Bill, I used a debt negotiation company to get out of debt. It was a four year long nightmare and upon meeting Bill I refer all my friends who are going through financial hardships or divorces to him.

I used Mr. Bodensteiner for a bankruptcy attorney and I highly recommend him. I was not sure about the process with bankruptcy and he assured me I was doing the right thing, and it was a big weight lifted off my shoulders. Atty. Garner reviewed a lease last year and told us we were fine for the next 5-10 years which was the new lease conditions. However, she neglected to do her research in the lease and we were informed by the opposing attorney that the new lease was not "witnessed by two people", so it wasn't valid. Because of this, we had to move out of our business location. Furthermore, the attorney didn't have the courtesy to contact us toward the end of this issue and had sent us a letter telling us that they were "no longer being represented by their firm". We paid her $450.00 to have a paralegal draft up a letter and a few phone conversations. FIND AN EXPERIENCED ATTORNEY WHO KNOWS THE LAW AND WON'T LEAVE YOU IN A BIND!!!!!!

It would take pages to list all the faux pas and issues my wife and I have with this very personable but lazy uncaring, poor excuse for an Attorney. Wasted years of our life, now we have to get a real Attorney in this space. Go name brand is the lesson here. His staff even laughs at you, you have to collect all the evidence yourself a year after you've been lied to and told you we'll get it handled.
Lied to so many times about what was done or allegedly in progress. Once we finally got to him writing a demand letter...we waited a month to read it ( unfiled, thank GOD). Then we got a copy and it left out 90 percent of the points a second grader would have known to include in it.
Then it sat another month on HIS desk...when we called, to ask if they had heard from State Farm ( he laughs and says...hold on let me look ...oops...I got so busy it's still on my deks. ) Love NASCAR apparently more than serving clients.
He did get us a second opinion, but he didn't even remember later who the doctor was that HE had sent us to. Referred to our doctors by the wrong names, titles. fields of expertise.
If you have an injury that will leave you with a lifelong issue..DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS POOR EXCUSE OF AN ATTORNEY.
Can you imagine a personal injury Attorney not wanting to go for more than a 100 K...and content to settle for 7500.00 knowing that it would leave you with thousands and thousands of dollars of unpaid medical bills, and nothing towards a life of needing a pain killer and a glass of wine to get to sleep from the pain?.
Charles Parker forced her to say...she was 100 percent cured before he would even file the Demand Letter. Can you imagine that.....Would have had done that if her legs had been cut off from the car accident. Well we can't file until you can walk. He actually thinks we are thinking over for the last couple weeks...settling for 7500.00. If he wants a dime from the new attorney we will let the B.A.R. know the fullness of his negligence. We want justice, is that too much to ask for from one's Attorney. Several attorney friends we should have gone to could not believe the LONG list of truly unconscionable oversights, negligence would be an understatement.

I first spoke to Barata Hollis regarding my divorce about 6 months ago. I must admit I was a bit of a mess. She was so very kind and understanding well above her legal requirements. Regarding her work ethic, it was above all my expectations. She was responsive and compassionate, and she was knowledgable, but understanding of my lack of focus at that time. She was informative without appearing bothered. She was outstanding. I went to other attorneys, who put a lot of emphasis on money, and did not seem to be concerned about my state of mind. In comparison to the others, she was very kind. I guess the best endorsement a mother could give would be to say that I recommended her to my children.

Never trust an attorney who keeps putting you off when you want a meeting. I got taken to the cleaners in a divorce, largely because this attorney did not even bother to check the false financial information given by my ex-spouse; and because she refused to give me any coaching or advice before I testified (despite my asking multiple times). she apologized for how things turned out, but then stopped returning my calls.

I was referred to Barata by a friend, and I occupied her full attention for over an hour. She was attentive, polite, and very knowledgeable about the legal questions I had. At the end of the time, I offered payment for her consultation. She told me that the initial consultation was free. I expected a hard sell for my business after my consultation, but I never got one. I chose to come back to her to handle my case, and it was handled professionally and quickly. She operated with my best interest at heart. Let's put it this way , I paid in full for my divorce but didn't get a full representation, why do I still need to hire another attorney to divide assets, full Discovery of assets were available, but no language was even put into the divorce decree . Be very careful when dealing with attorney! Do not enter into any agreements with him verbal or written unless you are 100%. You do not want to be sued. Search his past court cases. Do research! If he does your probate planning be 100% certain he files your will, DOUBLE CHECK! If you sign anything from him or deal with him court DOUBLE READ everything! You dont want to be victim to a play on words. Everyone just be careful and watch out, may victimize people, if he feels he can gain more money. Does not have a good repuation in the Nueces Courts. Never trust this guy and never let your guard down with such a caniving attorney. Gives attorneys a bad name. Its sad

I came to Mr. Mettler with my child custody case. As a client of his and single mother of 2 small children, I highly recommend him. All good attorneys are very busy but he always came through as needed. Not only is he well knowledgeable about the law, he was always compassionate and empathetic to my situation. I never felt that Mr. Mettler was “out to take my money”. In fact I feel the opposite. Throughout my case I feel Mr. Mettler did everything he could to keep my case as cost effective as possible. After over a year and close to ten thousand dollars later, no progress has been made. He is consistently at least 45 minutes late to every appointment as well as unable to ever call you at all when you've made a phone conference. He will and continued to go around your wishes to extend a case just to bill you more and rack up your legal fees. He is extremely arrogant for someone who clearly knows minimal in divorce cases. Do yourself a service and hire any other attorney other than David Mettler.

I used Mr. Peterson on an eviction. He anticipated every defense and was ready to counter each one. He kept the cost down, while letting me know what this action could potentially cost. I've used other real estate attorneys for evictions, but none were better. I'll use him for all my future real estate work AND my evictions.

Although my first inclination is never to hire a lawyer, in several instances it was absolutely necessary and I always found David to be responsive, knowledgeable, and timely. I used to work for Mike and his wife, who is the Medicaid specialist. I was with them almost 2 years. I wouldn't recommend them. They take several vacations a year, they are not quick on getting clients work done. They have a list of VIP clients that are allowed to be put through for calls, but if you aren't on the list, the secretary will tell you "they're not available, they're on the phone, they're in a meeting". Any lie to keep them off the phone. The wife, Jeannie, consider yourself lucky if you get a return call from her. Unless you have millions of dollars, don't expect your work to be done quickly. I thought they were good people. I watered their plants at their personal home when on vacation. I have let their dog out on occasion and always did as I was asked, even if I disagreed with it. But I would not recommend them because as professional as they may appear, they're fake and don't seem to care about clients, they care about money. Which is why the clients with more money get their work done first and faster. They aren't the kind people the pretend to be. This is all truth and yes I admit, Mike "fired" me because I suffer from depression, which he knew very early on, he also illegally tricked me into taking severance pay and disqualified me from unemployment benefits and is slandering my name all over the place. These aren't good Christian people like they pretend to be, they lie, the work is crappy and slow, they won't return their phone calls, they do not care about clients. On many occasions Mike himself would say "Our practice doesn't even need clients with the 2 richest ones we have" (I won't say their names because they did nothing wrong and are kind people) but he said that many many times. Like I said, they rarely return calls and especially the more you call them to get information or express concern, the more annoyed they get and the more they ignore you on purpose. This practice is a joke.

I was working with Brian Cloud on two collection cases. He said he obtained judgments and was working on collecting the money. I've tried contacting him multiple times via phone and e-mail as I have not seen him collect anything in over a year. He has not returned my phone calls, answered my e-mails, nor given me specific updates on my cases. I would recommend using a different lawyer as I have had nothing collected on two of my cases.

I would not waste your time going through Rudderow Law . They spent months after meeting with us only to look at half the records when the records they needed to look at the main reason for our case were not even requested or looked at when we asked repeatedly if they needed the records. Huge waste of time and when it was questioned they chose to ignore our email. Many other lawyers out there that will review all your records.

Mr. Morales was a court appointed attorney for me. When I requested a bench trial, I revealed to him that I have mental disabilities and at high risk for suicide. He told me not to tell him about it, but to seek professional help. I was arrested for a minor offense that has destroyed my ability to work in my chosen profession. He failed to link what my mental disability was like at the time of the charged conduct, and how this limited my reasoning and judgment. He didn't stress to the judge the certainty and severity of my impairment at the time of the incident, in an effort to pursuade the judge to acquit, dismiss or reduce the charge, so that I didn't lose my ability to support myself and retire from my career.
