Thank you both to Attorney Conor Stewartson and Paralegal Diane Barrera at Colorado Legal Defense Group for representing our daughter in her criminal defense case. My husband and I spoke to several Attorney firms to help us and after speaking with Diane and the Intake Attorney Cole Presnell, we decided to go with their firm. I can honestly say that Diane was key in helping us make the decision to use their firm. She was very understanding and genuinely cared, being a mother herself. She was available early on and even followed up to make sure we landed safely in CO that same evening to be there for our daughter. Conor was assigned to our case and I was advised although he was new with the firm he had an extensive background as a Criminal defense Attorney. Initially, I was concerned w/him being new to the firm but after speaking with him, doing a background check and reading up on him, he put those concerns to rest. There were times it was difficult to get a hold of Conor but my understanding was his contact phone was still being setup at the time, since he was new w/the firm. But he did return my call when I really needed him over the weekend on a late evening. Also, Diane was always available even on weekends (not normal or expected) and kept the communication going if Conor was not available due to being in court or working w/another client. Ultimately, the outcome of our case was in our daughter's favor and it was completely dismissed all due to the hard work of both Conor and Diane. Their skill set and ability to do what they do, fighting on our daughter's behalf produced the best outcome possible and we are so thankful to them both! The billing process early on was easy and in speaking w/Diane that was not even a concern at the time with what was going on. Which truly shows the caliber of the firm and their people as a whole of who they are and what they are about. We are thankful to both Conor and Diane and are truly blessed to have been represented by them, but as I mentioned to Diane, we pray we never need their services again! Anderson, Boback, & Marshall were great. Jessica Sindel and Jessica Marshall had the patience of saints when dealing with me through such a tough process. It felt like we shared a common goal and reached the expectation that I had in spite of the other side making some very wild claims... I was able to overcome all of that with their help and at no point did I feel like they were billing me unnecessarily nor refusing to take steps to make meaningful progress like other firms I had to deal with.

it is always stressful to find or hire a lawyer, ESPECIALLY in this field. long story short, i called this firm and picked one name out of all of them...Monika. this woman is simply AMAZING!!! i had no clue what i was doing , she helped me every step of the way....no BS...just simple, clear and straight to the point... i seriously wish all lawyers were like her...my son and i will always be thankful for her :)

First and Foremost I would like to say thank you to the firm of Lee Steinberg, I did an online chat on Thanksgiving Day 2023 because I hired a small firm and I felt my case was not being handled I just kept getting shifted to paralegal’s 6 of them. Justin Feldman is an incredible attorney. My case took 3 1/2 years to settle. During that time, he always stayed in contact with me to update me or just to check in and see how I was doing. He would return my calls or texts quickly whenever I had any questions. He treated my wife and I like family and truly had my best interests in mind while handling my case. I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience with Gold Lee of Lewis, Marenstein, Wicke and Sherman. Gold has represented me in my previous workers comp cases over the years. In 2020, I was diagnosed with cancer after retiring from LAPD after 33 years of service. Oliver Hadley is a horrible lawyer didn't show up for court, and I had to travel from Chicago to finish the job. Mr. Hadley never once had the courtesy it to return my phone calls after receiving full payment.

My partner needed an attorney to file an eviction so I recommend Mr. Oliver Hadley based his reviews. We never met Mr. Hadley because we live in Chicago so we spoke with him several times a day concerning the case, and he sent an e-contract to sign electronically along with a form to submit payment. Once he received full payment he slowly stopped communicating, as we tried several occasions to contact him but he wouldn't reply until two weeks later. Twice the court date was set but Mr. Oliver Hadley never showed up, and always made up excuses for his absence. My partner and I finally drove to New Orleans for the court hearing, completed the filing of motion ourselves and informed the Judge the situation of being ripped off by this attorney. I differently would not recommend Mr. Hardley has reported him to the law board.

I am the alleged victim of a crime, but I do not believe that the charges reflect the events on the night that the defendant was arrested and feel uncomfortable with the fact that he is being prosecuted. After several months of trying to convince the prosecution not to go forward with the charges, and of contacting the public defender’s office to no avail (in hopes of communicating with the defendant’s attorney and gaining some insight into how I might be able to share my version of events, which was not reflected in the police report), I had become quite desperate. While financial reservations had initially dissuaded me from contacting a private defense attorney, I decided that I should, at the very least, look into the cost of a consultation. I left a message on Stephen Hebert’s voicemail at the ungodly hour of four in the morning, expecting that I would wait several days before hearing back from an employee, if at all. But, to my great surprise, Attorney Hebert himself called me back within an hour and half. He did not take me through a lengthy intake process or require me to schedule an appointment, he simply asked if I would like to do a free phone consultation then and there. I anxiously explained my story at some length, and he listened patiently and then spoke with me for almost 2 hours about various aspects of the case, and about the practical implications, and potential benefits and risks of submitting a sworn affidavit recounting my version of the events (I told him I had been considering doing this). Given that he was not representing me, he was not in a position to tell me what I should do. But he answered all of my questions and familiarized me with a range of possible outcomes, drawing not only upon his legal knowledge but upon his practical knowledge of how things tend to work “on the ground” in Orleans Parish, where my case is being heard. I left the call with a sense of peace and agency that I have not been able to achieve for months, simply by virtue of Attorney Hebert’s willingness to explain things to me in a way that I could understand. Although he did not represent me, his timely and generous handling of my questions and concerns speaks volumes to the kind of person he is, and to how he treats his clients. I highly recommend.

Mr. Barber was able to get my son's case dismissed September 27, 2024after over 2 years of what was truly an unfair and unjust legal situation. Mr. Barber and Associates became my son's voice and with us not residing in Georgia any more it was a difficult task and Mr. Barber relieved all our fears and got Justice for my son. Thank you Mr. Barber from the bottom of our hearts for giving us this victory.

I can say Attorney Barber did a fantastic job in solvinh my case which ended up resulting in no jail time. He was also very effective in communicating what was going on with the case. Lastly I'll say that Mr. Barber seems to be a cool dude in general. He was very sociable and humorous aside from helpful.

Stay clear of her! Will take your money and run! We gave her 6000.00 up front (which she demanded) and she done absolutely nothing in 3 mos time. We had to fire her and end up paying another $10,000 to another attorney to get something done. She claimed she would refund part of it back to us; never did see it of course! Another lie!!! Her staff are puppets and lie for her as well. She shouldn’t be allowed to practice!!

Never have I ever been treated better by a law firm. The office assistant Greg greeted me with empathy and professional precision. The lawyer Maureen Williams called back first thing the next morning and gave pertinent insight and a lot of hope. Hands down the BEST representation I have EVER experienced.

In June I found myself in a situation that required me to find legal counsel. My husband got physical with me following an argument. I ran to our bedroom and called 911 as he put his hand through our door. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s office showed up after what seemed like an eternity. When they attired, my husband met them outside. To date I cannot comprehend what the the deputies were thinking because I was arrested after calling for help. Apparently my husband’s lies convinced her that I assaulted him and my daughter. He even added that I racked a 9mm and “almost” pointed it at him… I was arrested and in jail for the night. I started to panic and was terrified about potentially losing my job and/or licensing through the state in addition to losing my CPL & 2nd amendment rights. I was initially charged with felony felonious assault and a few other things that I do not recall. I started looking & researching who to hire to sort this mess out. Attorneys need to be convincing. I had talked to a dozen of them & all I heard were the same lines- like a salesman working for commission. A few of them sat ok in my stomach. But that was the problem… they were ok. When there is so much on the line mediocre is not what I was willing to accept. I reached out to a trusted attorney that I had worked with previously on a civil matter from Warner Norcross + Judd. He referred me to Michael Bartish. I began digging into reviews & searching for articles about him. I reached out to SBBL Law. It didn’t take long for Michael to return my call. After speaking with Michael over the phone I knew he was the guy. He was direct yet empathetic. He listened to what was important to me and the fears I had. He was reassuring without over promising any sort of result. He never said any of the lines I’d heard from the previous attorneys who seemed to not be genuine. Over the course of about 2 months Michael walked me through the process, explained everything so that I understood. I could feel he was vested in this fight with me from our first court appearance. His presence and confident demeanor brought me peace at some of the most emotional times I had faced in a long time. Michael included me in every aspect of the case and looked to me to make the decisions on plea deals that were offered. He supported my decision to go to trial. He still never promised a winning result but his confidence gave me the confidence to fight this. I had never watched a jury selection. The jurors likely never were jurors before. Watching Michael educate the jurors while assessing their ability to be impartial for the anticipated trial was nothing short of impressive. He has power in his voice & not the sort that’s disrespectful or arrogant. At hearings Michael made clear arguments backed by law. He crushed every move the prosecution attempted. He has passion and speaks with a dominance you only see with true experience. The prosecution ended up dismissing the case because any headway they attempted was shattered by Michael. This was a huge win for us!!! Michael and I joked that it was a bit disappointing not going to trial. Watching him in the courtroom and knowing his abilities I felt it would be a sure win and that it would put the prosecutor in his place even more. If I ever need a defense attorney he 100% will be my guy without hesitation! I would recommend him to anyone needing help with a case.

Heath and this firm failed on every level. Heath failed to prepare his client to speak with the Judge as written in his contract. Heath failed to keep his clients informed of the cost as stated in his contract. I would strongly urge you to find a different firm.

Amanda has been representing me since 2020 and has been insightful and professional and cares for her clients. She deserves her flowers for having the knowledge and credentials to represent her clients well. My situation is still early in the process but regardless I want to say this firm is going above and beyond for me and my situation. They are the only firm out of 4 that has even agreed to look into my case. From my initial consult with Sharon to my communication with Kelly thus far, I am beyond impressed. They work behind the scenes when you think they took a break you get clarification they are still swinging for you at 7:15pm on a Tuesday night. I am honored to call them my attorneys. I highly recommend them! Ps Out of all of the law firms I considered I was "lucky enough" to get maybe two rejection emails, other than that I never heard back from anyone I contacted..My point is, this happens, they are busy.

Forced me to put a one star hal arenstein is a terrible lawyer he was supposed to be my lawyer but made a deal to send me to prison my first time ever being in trouble in my life I fired him and got probation 🤣👎🏻

Not the lawyer he once was! He lied to me and my family several times! Couldn’t trust him anymore! Made a deal behind our backs with the prosecutor to send my daughter to prison for her first felony ever. Long story short save your money! Go get Clyde Bennett. He did what Hal said couldn’t be done! Clyde got the charges dropped today! Hal told us she’s going to prison! It’s sad that a lawyer with his name has just given up and stopped caring about his clients! Clyde did just what he said he was going to do for us! Didn’t have to call a thousand times or text him! He did his job! Integrity is rare these days!

Extremely rude. Had no answers acted like it was a waste of his time to speak with me. He wouldn’t have spoke to me like that in person. I would never give them any kind of business. Don’t waste your time calling them. They have no clue what they are doing. They just want to poke fun at you. I wish I would have been there in person. Luckily it was only a phone call. There is no way that rating he has is accurate. He must have his interns writing reviews. What a joke of a lawyer. He definitely has a god complex. Good luck Mr. Doyle. Your definitely just another number to him, go somewhere else even if it cost you some money. He didn’t give any advice whatsoever. Just made fun of my situation and called me cheap. Then wanted $500 to look at some paperwork. What a joke and extremely rude! Get some manners sir! Or someone someday will teach you some! Whether you want them too or not!

Jennifer Spyker recently and successfully represented me in an important case. Ms. Spyker was clearly knowledgeable with highly relevant experience in the law relevant to my case and she worked efficiently and professionally on my behalf.
