I think this is the first time I have used a law firm to resolve issues with regard to what I felt was a serious and breach of trust and negative performance from a financial manager. From the moment I contacted MeyerWilson, I was always treated with what felt like genuine respect and real interest in my situation. Lucius "Luke" worked on a personal injury case for me after the at-fault party's insurance company's offer wasn't even enought money to cover the medical bills. Due to a confidentiality agreement I can’t discuss the case in great detail but let me just say everything workout beyond my expectations. I didn’t feel like he “nickeled and dimed” me on the expenses. I also felt like I knew what the time table was going to be, percentage of the award to his firm (if settled before trial and after the trial) and all anticipated expenses up front, I felt prepared for every part of the process and it’s because Luke cares about his clients and was professional towards me and my family. Our family hired Mr. Prentice to protect my mother’s assets from the 10k per month bill she was receiving from her nursing facility. Mr. Prentice swiftly stopped this bill from continuing and saved her hard earned savings. Our family paid Mr. Prentice quite a bit, but it was 100% worth it! Mr. Prentice and his staff were very professional and pleasant to work with. I would recommend Mr. Prentice to any family that is going through the expense of having a loved one in a nursing home.

Before you make a mistake in answering to the IRS as an individual tax payer (not a good decision) or use a preparer as an intermediary (also not the best option), hire Todd Unger. I had less access than Todd as a tax payer and the preparer was not knowledgeable in the back end of the tax regulations.
I was fortunate enough to work with Todd after making a terrible mess of an innocent spouse filing. Todd was reasonably priced and expert in his knowledge and approach to my problem. Despite having to overcome the initial mistakes I and my preparer made in trying to address IRS tax problems, Todd was able to work with me and the IRS to achieve my best possible outcome.

Paul was recommended to me when I took my sorority sister to be diagnosed by a psychiatrist for hallucinations. She lived two hours away, had no family and had never been to any doctors, so there was no one to catch the problem early . I looked at the Doctor and said, "ok what do I do now?". He handed me Paul's card and said that he thought I should call him.
Well, this was a Godsend. After talking with Paul, I knew exactly what I needed to do. I now have full responsibility for her and he has been with me the whole way from getting her diagnosed with dementia, to helping with all of the legal paperwork and consolidating the finances (after having to find all of them first!) and getting her moved in to an assisted living home where she is getting topnotch care. If you need a responsive and caring lawyer, hire Paul!!

Paul does an excellent job of making a connection with his clients. He becomes invested in meeting the needs of his clients. Jack Gordon of Maney & Gordon, represented me in what was one of the most difficult and heart wrenching experiences of my life; the wrongful death of my youngest daughter due to gross negligence on the part of a hospital.
Jack worked very hard and diligently for me and more importantly, for my daughter. He was so well prepared to try the case that he very much wanted to take the case to trial. As a preliminary step before trial, we entered mediation with the defendant hospital. Jack negotiated very persistently on our behalf and we were able to reach an agreeable settlement. Although no settlement could ever assuage the grief and sadness over the loss of my daughter, it did help to bring closure, knowing that those responsible for the negligence associated with my daughter’s death were held accountable and compelled to take responsibility for their actions.

Having known Jack for many years on a personal level, I immediately turned to him when I was faced with a serious legal matter in April 2015. Chris Banys was very knowledgeable in this area. He helped me throughout the whole dispute, advised me of my rights and did everything he could to keep the cost down. He started off by reviewing my leases, and sent my landlord various letters. When we filed suit he did everything that he could to move things along. Chris was very aggressive in his approaches because I knew that from prior experiences with my landlord that he had to be. When the case settled Chris got me everything that I deserved and I didn’t have to give my landlord anything. It was a great win and I would always hire him for any matter that comes up. When I first took on the responsibility as primary caretaker for my elderly and infirmed parents, I had no idea the enormity of the process that lay ahead of me.
Mr. Slutsky assisted in procuring and completing the piles of necessary paperwork in caring for my father until his death and in transitioning my mother into nursing home care that would be covered by Medicaid. My eyes were opened to the complications and constantly changing legal landscape of eldercare.
Mr. Slutsky helped me Navigate the labyrinth of Medicaid rules. He explained the nuances of federal regulations and assisted me in circumventing costly pitfalls that would have depleted my parents’ estate. For example, Mr. Slutsky informed me how as caretaker, I must show my address as my parents’ home for at least two years in order to have my father’s house as part of my inheritance rather than have it signed over to the nursing home. Mr. Slutsky’s timely legal advice and expertise also led to the successful signing over of other financial assets to my siblings and me, thus averting their being delegated to the nursing home.

Both he and his paralegal were always ready and willing to entertain any concern or worry that I had. It was nothing for me to send an email at midnight and to have received an answer by 6:00 am the next morning alleviating all my anxiety. Mr. Slutsky was always reassuring and genuinely interested in my parents care as well as kind in appreciating my role as caretaker. I cannot tell you how unexpected these traits were and how above and beyond the professionalism of a lawyer they went.
Most importantly was the emotional well- being I experienced in my dealings with Mr. Slutsky. I am confident that my parents were taken care of to the best of my ability and that they have received the care, respect, and love that they deserved in their final years. I am also edified that there are assets of their estate safeguarded to be divided among their children. This would make my parents very happy. They worked hard all their lives and saved well to leave a legacy to their children.

I met with Mr. Alles to discuss setting up an estate plan for myself. During our meeting, he recommended plans also be setup for my adult, unmarried children--which I did. Unfortunately, my son died soon after his trust was setup. But, having a trust in place, has made managing his home, IRA's, and other assets much easier without going through probate. I definitely recommend Mr. Alles to anyone needing estate planning.

Tim took my husband and I through every single step of setting up our wills and trust. We had lots of questions, concerns, and worries about what we could/couldn't do.
Tim was very patient and took us step by step through what we wanted, what he could do for us, and how he could bring everything together to get us what we were looking for. He was very informative and knew what we were looking for before we figured it out.
I have suggested Tim to family and friends since our experience was wonderful.
He is even doing our son's will for him since he is currently a Marine heading to Okinawa and has no idea what he will get into in the next couple of years.

I have worked as an IT director for two major Law Firms for 30 years and I know the business well. Susan Rooth was initially hired by my parents to prepare the standard paperwork for estate planning. This was done with a high degree of competence at very fair rates. Approximately five years ago, it become clear that my parents, in their mid 80s, could no longer care for themselves. In a meeting with me and my wife to review some of the paperwork, Susan took a very active role and helping me find home care resources that fortunately we could afford, and stay involved up through today to see that they were well cared for. They have both since passed away, and Susan and her staff did an excellent job in assisting me with handling both estates, and she is still assisting today. It was a lot of work that would have been very difficult for me to do on my own. Her rates continue to be very fair and her staff is highly competent and responsive. Also, she is well known by many of the local banks and that made things go much smoother when needed.
Although as stated, her Firm provides an excellent work product at reasonable rates, what I am most impressed with about Susan and what motivates me to write this review is the level of personal interest and compassion that she displays for her clients and the level of assistance and concern she has that goes far beyond the basic provision of legal services. It is truly exceptional, and I say this as someone who has been in the industry. Overall, for anyone with aging parents who needs these services, or in need of estate planning for the themselves, I offer this unqualified recommendation - you will not find anyone better, or more caring and helpful on a personal level.

Recently I had to put my father in a nursing home. I lived out of state and was unprepared for how quickly he went downhill. With no funds to pay for a nursing home, he needed Medicaid. I called several attorneys and I felt like just another number until I called Susan. Susan and her assistant Shelly made me feel like one of the family. They were very sympathetic to my emotional and financial situation. They explained everything clearly and walked me through the process. Whenever I had a question, they were always there for me. We dealt with Jordan in resolving a particularly difficult fraud case. There were a number of parties involved, all pointing fingers at each other. Recently, I called Patricia Carbone, Esq. to request an appointment hoping to discuss my IRS dilemma. To my surprise, I was able to speak to Attorney Carbone directly at that moment and we immediately entered into an initial question and answer dialogue. After a 30 minute conversation, Attorney Carbone explained to me, with great clarity, my position and the options that were available to me in order to resolve my case with the IRS. She explained how she could help me through the collection process including but not limited to the review and filing of documentation with the IRS, application preparation and submission, communications, and negotiations. She further described the efforts and action she would take on my behalf to minimize and where possible, limit my financial exposure to them. After about 30 minutes on the phone call, we ended the conversation and I hung feeling I had found just the right professional to represent and protect my financial and legal interests. To make a long story short, my IRS problem has been resolved.
