My will and power of attorney and similar documents were updated. Everything went very smoothly. Mr. Frees made a schedule and met it; he explained all the entries in my new will in a detailed Zoom meeting. The documents are all extremely well done--at least insofar as a non-lawyer can judge. All possible contingencies were addressed, and he coordinated with my trust company to ensure that they are on board.

Though my husband refused to believe he was very ill, we both heard the doctors tell us he had a cancer he had probably gotten while serving in VietNam. We had nothing in place...no will, no trust, nothing even on paper! I looked on line for a nearby lawyer/estate planner and the God's were on my side that day! I phoned and made an appointment for us to visit with Leo McGrath. I believe we were there for about 2 hours, and by the time we left his office, we were in total agreement that we were on the right track to securing and entrusting our estate, and the investment and distrubution of our funds, to this firm. After our motor vehicle incident with our son and having it out of county, we did not know who to call. I have many trusted law enforcement partners in the the surrounding counties so I reached out to three of them and all three said, "call Angelo Rose". One of these contacts even said "you absolutely need to call Angelo Rose". We are glad we did. Angelo met with us in his office to quickly ease our anxiety about what might/could happen and in the end, Angelo was very close to spot on with what did happen. Angelo knows the law and what turned out to be equally important, Angelo knows the DA's to work with and his advice along the way has been right on point. We actually liked him so much that we are going to use him as our attorney for various legal documents and hopefully, we never do but if we need a lawyer, we would say our lawyer is Angelo Rose on the spot.

Angelo represented me in a difficult DWI case. I have never been in any legal situation before and I did not know what to do. He was there to guide me during difficult moments in the case. Mr. Kaune is an excellent lawyer. His knowledge of creating wills, POA for financial and medical needs and living wills is "right on". We found Thomas McGovern through very good friends while looking for a real estate attorney for a co-op we were putting an offer on in Queens. We called a few other recommendations from other people but automatically felt comfortable with choosing Tom due to his experience with co-ops and more importantly, his friendly and efficient demeanor. He guided us through more than just the law side of the process. We were actually rejected from the co-op board without an interview. All the work that Tom had done for months was down the co-op tubes… he did not, for one second, make us feel like his time was wasted! He was disappointed for us and encouraged us back on our search. There were a few more offers made (and accepted) and contracts reviewed. We weren't in love with anything until we finally found our house on Long Island!! Tom was so patient as we went through a few places before actually going through with the purchase process again. The house we ended up buying had an offer or two ahead of ours that fell through due to missing paperwork on the seller’s side fore it being an estate. Tom reassured us that he had dealt with many estate scenarios and this missing paperwork was not a challenge for him or us. Something that was too complicated for the lawyers of offers ahead of ours—was no problem at all for Tom!! Throughout the process of finally buying our house, Tom guided, advised, revised, and reassured our side every step of the way. He certainly dotted every “i” and crossed every “t” to ensure the smooth transfer of title. Our closing was scheduled as soon as could be and ran without any hiccups at all—all honestly thanks to Tom. We invited him back to the house once it was officially ours to celebrate. It didn’t end there… Tom also recommended a great contractor when our previous had abandoned us the day before closing. He also periodically checked in on us along the way to see how the house was coming along and just to see how we were doing. Tom did what others couldn't and what others wouldn’t. I highly, highly, highly recommend Thomas McGovern as an Attorney!! As a real estate agent myself—I am constantly recommending him to all of my real estate network.

First and foremost, the Magnell Office is a cut above the rest. They were not only cordial and attentive but displayed a strong sense of trust, integrity, and reliability when taking on my case. Back in 2020, I got a speeding ticket for driving a 53 in a 30. As an out-of-state driver, I was unaware of New York's point system. Not to mention the fact that this was my first-time offense. Long story short, I would have gotten 6 pts; however, the Magnell Office brought it down to 0 pts and a fine for littering on the highway. I highly recommend this law firm. If I could, I would give them a 6 out of 5.

It's not everyday that I take the time to post a review let alone one with a five star rating. For Eric though I have to. About two years ago I came to him with a sensitive legal issue. Since then Eric has handled everything you need a lawyer for....You name it he did it. We were traveling for Thanksgiving from Michigan to Syracuse by way of Niagara Falls. On a side road outside of Buffalo, with a ridiculously low speed limit, we were issued a speeding ticket. The only way to defend ourselves was to appear in person, in January. Not happening. Fortunately we found Mike online. He replied to us directly and quickly, and was very personable and professional. We hired him and he made the infraction go away. We'd rather have defended ourselves, but given the logistics we can't imagine a better resolution. I reached out to Renee to get a second opinion on the expungement for my DUI. I'm in the ARD program and she is helping to expedite the expungement process. The attorney that represented me during my DUI trial said there was nothing else I could do to get the DUI off of my record early. Renee is looking at different angles and moving forward with helping to resolve this matter. I also received two summary charges that do not look good on my record for future job opportunities. Mr. Wendell Belknap has been handling legal documents such as Last Will and Testament for my wife and me for many years. When my wife passed away last year, I asked Wendell for help with settling an IRA account that my wife had forgotten to link to a beneficiary. He was immediately helpful, explaining the various options available. After we selected probate as most appropriate, he carefully explained all aspects of the process, guiding me through how to get the personal representative class, summarizing assets, and formal notification (listing in local papers) for creditors, which he took care of. He referred me to another attorney who specialized in estates to help with determining the value of the estate. Additionally, Wendell personally handled communications with the IRA administrators regarding the probated estate so that appropriate paperwork would be completed.
Wendell was always available for my questions and was clearly concerned that the process should be as easy and painless as possible. While probate can take a long time, and this one did, I was never concerned with the process knowing that Wendell was watching it every step of the way. I would highly recommend Wendell as your first contact lawyer.
