I recently was looking for advice on an insurance based case. Kathryn Kyatt King was very welcoming and to the point when asking for information. Even though she pointed out it would not be in my best interest to pursue this by hiring her she gave me some very practical advice that worked! I could not be happier! I will hopefully not need it in the near future, lol, but I would reach out to her if another matter arises that would require a lawyers touch. I met Thom Rogers at a national estate planning attorneys' conference in the mid-1990's. He was a great communicator when presenting tax matters seminars. Thom also conveyed the importance of being client focused in the practice of law. My career in estate planning law was enhanced greatly by having met Thom and I attended as many of his Continuin Legal Education programs as possible.
Three years ago I had an opportunity to co-counsel with Thom on an estate administration in Florida. I was very impressed with the organization of Thom's office and the professionalism displayed by all of the attorneys working in his office. More importantly, Thom answered questions that I had regarding the federal tax aspects of the estate and kept the administration in Florida moving forward.
He left all of the client communications in my hands. We developed a great working relationship and instilled trust in the client that together we could handle all of the many issues involved. That led to the ultimate planning experience as Thom and I worked together to prepare an elaborate Florida and federal estate plan for my surviving client.

I do not know how I would have gotten through my divorce if I had not had Adrienne as my legal counsel. From our very first interaction she was so honest which I appreciated and found refreshing. Adrienne not only knows the law, she practices always keeping the law in the forefront of any conversation or interaction, which was nice for me because it made things simple regarding what could be negotiated and what was simply the law.
She worked hard with opposing counsel to ensure the process continued to move forward as she recognized that I could not move forward in life until my divorce was finalized. Adrienne is extremely organized and has an uncanny attention to detail. I trust her implicitly and although I do not plan on getting married or divorced again, if I did find myself in that situation, I would not want any other counsel except Adrienne.
Adrienne is a fierce advocate for her clients and she really took the time to get to know me as a person, my sense of humor and values as well as my triggers (I hate that word) or issues where I could easily become emotional. Adrienne is very honest and will give it to you straight so you always know where you stand. She kept me on track, moving forward and managed my emotions with grace and compassion. She gave me reassurance when needed, always keeping the law in the forefront of any decision or negotiation. There were times I thought my head was going to explode, and she was exceptional at bringing me back to the task at hand in order to reach the finish line with fair and equitable resolution for all involved.
Divorce is not for me and like many others I didn’t get married to get divorced, but Adrienne made it not only bearable but at times enjoyable. I should clarify, the divorce itself was not pleasant but working with her was an absolutely enjoyable experience and made one of the worst times in my life a little more bearable. We made it through as a team, with her leading the way from start to finish, and I will forever be grateful for her service and the due diligence she gave not only to my case but to me as a person.

I spoke with Steve on numerous occasions concerning a legal issue. He was able to collect my fragmented, loosely connected dates and facts, then strategize with me on a winning game plan.
I had a loose idea of what information I needed to present, but Steve helped me make it a powerful, cohesive narrative to present. He showed me which facts needed spotlighting and which were peripheral and supportive, at best.
God forbid you have to deal with the mess I had to but, if you do, you'd do well to choose Mr. Jackson. I was extremely glad Steve was there to walk me through the dark maze of legalese, explain the details in a way I could understand and connect with, then help me prepare a sound plan.

After a long and unhappy marriage, my former spouse and I decided to hire Juliet to mediate our legal separation. We had initially hired our own legal representatives and that was proving to me a true nightmare and promised a protracted, painful and expensive pathway. We took a pause and decided to try a mediator and were so fortunate to find Juliet and her paralegal, Jentri. As one can imagine, splitting from a spouse of nearly 4 decades was a complex, conflict-riddled, contentious experience. Juliet somehow managed to maintain her incredibly professional, calm and neutral stance while we hammered out our settlement contract. Her billing was beyond fair and well accounted for. Her work, including the computations needed, was carefully prepared and meticulously documented. Given the behaviors she had to tolerate and the "tattling" she was subjected to, she remained supportive of both parties and respectful toward us. When it was over and we met to sign paperwork, she was very empathetic and left me with a box of tissues and time to compose myself. I know we were difficult to deal with and she must have had to use all of her skills to coach us to the conclusion. A year later, my former spouse asked for a divorce and wanted to use her to complete that last step. Again, she and Jentri were professional, brief and did not get involved in the drama surrounding the divorce. Since her work had been so thorough during the separation, the divorce was quick and simple and they took care of everything. I was so grateful! I would highly recommend Juliet to anyone that thinks they can navigate a marital split with some semblance of civility, the ability to "be in the same room" negotiating the terms and avoid a costly and destructive battle.

She has continued to provide 5 star service every step of the way...from my mother’s death, property sales, a remarriage, and finally wrapping up my parents’ estate after my father’s death.
Julia’s extensive expertise in the law, taxes and real estate means you don’t need to involve multiple professionals—she can deal with just about any issue that comes up in a professional and timely manner.
My only regret is I no longer live in California, so I must find a new attorney. They will have big shoes to fill!

Julia assisted my sister and I with our fathers probate down in California. We had previously been working with another attorney that literally did nothing for us. He dragged his feet and never even so much as present simple paperwork to the courts after 6 months of employing him as our representation. We promptly parted ways with that attorney and were directed to Julia. I can tell you that the work she did for us was a breath of fresh air. She was extremely prompt in all of her responses and thorough in her communication. She went to bat for us in court to try to get things sped along as the previous attorney had left us in a tight bind and delayed the probate closing by 6 months. I'am not an attorney but I do have a great background in client services and I can speak for my sister and myself by saying that Julia was a delight to work with and left both of us with a sense of ease knowing that she was getting everything done for us. Liz showed genuine human empathy and fought for the truth for me. I hired her seeking custody of my children and my ex dragged it out costing me a fortune. This firm is a powerhouse! The talent here doesn't only include the attorney's, but also the paralegals, legal assistants, and even the office staff. This is an eclectic group of well experienced professionals that will know how to represent you at trial, if your case goes that far. There isn't an angle they won't think about to get you the results you are looking for.
I had the pleasure of being represented by Walter Schouten. Ironically, he was referred to me by an attorney that I consulted with. I was told to call Walter because he is very knowledgeable and he's an outstanding trial lawyer. Walter took on my case and he was assisted by an amazing paralegal in Vanessa Enciso. This dynamic duo believed that they could help my situation in securing me a new trial for a custody case. They went to work immediately. This was 2 weeks after I lost at trial while being represented by a different firm.
Long story long...Walter was able to get me a new trial, and he was able to get the judge to change her previous ruling. I am now the custodial parent of my 7 year old son.
I have to admit that even if I wasn't awarded custodial rights, I was more than satisfied with the representation and would have been able to live with the ruling a lot easier. Knowing that I was being properly represented was huge for me. Especially since the previous firm I hired for this case was absolutely terrible.

I hired Scott to assist me with a suit against a previous business partner. From our initial consultation Scott was friendly, easy to talk to, and honest with me about my situation.
Throughout the process of analyzing my case and preparing to file, Scott was easy to reach and thoroughly explained each step and decision.

Scott assumed our case from another lawyer in the same law firm who left. Though he was brought into the case at a later time, he reviewed the case thoroughly and quickly came up with various options for us. We ended up going to the trial and won the case. It took several years to collect the total amount but he secured the assets and helped us to collect all due and for all expenses as well. Scott was always prompt.
