My parents and I had a wonderful experience working with Ed and his staff. My parents wanted to create a living trust and I wanted to find someone in the Sacramento area that spoke their native language (Cantonese and Taishanese). English is their 2nd language and it would be hard for them to fully comprehend some of those legal questions. I wanted them to feel comfortable in speaking and asking questions without a need for a translator. I’m very happy I was able to come across Ed’s business and after talking directly to him I felt he would be able to communicate just fine with my parents and we set up an initial meeting for my parents to see if they would like to work with him. The rest is history and my parents are overjoyed and I have peace of mind knowing that everything is in order for them.

My husband and I were delaying the process of putting together a living trust/will. At times it just seemed overwhelming and frankly, something we just didn't want to take the time to do. Obviously it is extremely important and when we finally decided to make the move to get this completed, we had a couple of lawyers in mind. My wife and I wanted to upgrade and have a review conducted of our trust that was established in the year 2000. Mr. Fong came very highly recommended by some friends. He and his team were incredibly professional and at the same time treated us with patience and courtesy. My wife and I both had some fairly significant questions about the trust and they were able to handle them without a problem. They completed the project and record time at a very reasonable cost. Mr. Gosselin was recommended to me by a family member who is also MD in Winchester, MA. He spent 3 hours, 1-on-1, with me carefully explaining the myriad of MA healthcare intricacies me and my family needed to understand before going forward before placing my husband, a CT resident, in a nursing home close to his son. Our experience with this firm from day one has been excellent. My opinion extends to the entire office staff who are all extremely courteous and helpful people. We had a difficult situation with a non-communicative entity in the onset but with time, Ms. Johnson skillfully launched a plan that eventually led us to an impressive financial settlement plus she successfully negotiated a long-term contract for a substantial amount of money with a billion dollar corporation. Yes, she appears to be a gentle and calm dispositioned woman but there's a raging spirit within her who will not be intimidated by powerful big business and she will continually fight and strategize until you succeed in your cause. This case took almost 2 years to conclude but one of the most fortunate and wise things I've ever done in business was to hire Ms. Johnson.

We needed to probate an estate in Utah, but we live in California so we needed to work from afar with someone local . Based on our Utah contacts and recommendations, we chose Dara. Her management probate of the estate was incredibly fast and efficient. She is terrific in dealing with credit card debt. We hope not to have to hire her again, but if we needed to we'd do so in a heartbeat.

Ms. Supriya Glory Philips was hired to update our very much outdated wills, as well as our power of attorneys. Ms. Philips was extremely helpful in guiding the direction and the wording of our wills especially in light of our semi-complex situation. November 2020 was a devastating time for our sister as her husband died from COVID. His financial affairs were a total disaster, leaving his wife, our sister, an emotional, financial and physical wreck besides being disabled as well. We, that is, our other sister and her husband including myself, sometime shortly after this horrific sudden death, somehow, by the grace of God, had recommendations that Steve Braverman would be the perfect attorney for this situation. The 4 of us had a 4-way ( we were in 3 different states! ) phone consultation with Steve. Afterwards there was a joint consensus that Steve would be the perfect lawyer for our sister. Shortly thereafter, we hired him immediately and we have not looked back. Many complicated hoops we had to jump through, many questions and concerns, yes, fears and frustrations, but Steve was ALWAYS there for us, navigating us through quite frankly a mess of financial issues as one can imagine. We've previously hired and dealt with several attorneys that often took their time to respond - which is very frustrating. Living in another part of Florida and needing a second opinion from an experienced trust litigator I contacted Ms. Sundberg. Since I am involved in a trust but am not the grantor, the local attorney who created the trust had been (rightly so) keeping me a bit at arms length.
Ms. Sundberg was available to take my call and did. She listened patiently while I explained my situation and questions regarding the trust, and my concerns about what might cause an adverse decision to the trust and myself should it be challenged. She then very calmly, but obviously from a place of experience, gave me her take on the pitfalls I might encounter. Importantly, she clearly differentiated between those items and courses of action that were middle of the road and safe and those that might be at the edge of the road and could go either way should the trust go to litigation. That distinction was hugely helpful.
Finally, much like the character in "Miracle on 34th Street" who advises a Macy's customer who couldn't find the item they were looking for at Macy's that they could find it at Gimbels, she pointed out that an attorney who was certified in elder law and practiced in my geographic area would be the best attorney to consult for my remaining questions, since that is where the trust would be litigated if it came to that. Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe is lucky to have her and anyone who needs her assistance in her area of expertise cannot do better.

Ok.... I’m from Las Vegas and Reno and thought it would be good to invest in a piece of property in Hamtramck. Going into the purchase paperwork got delayed by months (very frustrating). I found Parakh Law online, the price structure for services was perfect and so were the results! I closed the deal. Two years later I wanted to sell it, my plans changed and I just wanted out. Again Parakh Law was there with great rates to look the contract over. But the deal fell through and I was stuck in limbo for a month. I contacted Kathleen’s office and within and hour I was out of the dead deal so I could pursue a new one.

I have used Parakh for two cases, first on Jun 2017 and second in Sep 2017. I did not get a chance to put review after the first service, but felt obliged to put a review after the second excellent service. I have talked with Kathleen, but mainly dealt with Mike Pierce. They provided excellent service in both cases.
1) Jun 2017: Tenant did not pay for 1.5month and did not respond to my calls. Parakh law helped to file a case with city and got a court date. The tenant called me and made plans and deposited payments accordingly to catch up with payment
2) Sep 2017: I paid a concrete contractor 1/2 deposit for driveway concrete work and they kept delaying the work. Parak Law send appropriately drafted letter to pressure them and followed up with 2 calls and the contractor agreed to refund a percentage of the deposit. I hired a different contractor to complete the job

We had the pleasure of working with Gary as our closing attorney for our new home purchase. I couldn't have imagined a more pleasurable experience.
We had a closing scheduled for Monday. The prior Wednesday, I received a call from Gary informing me that he was still waiting on an item that he had requested and that was needed in order to close on time. He kept me up to date on the situation, all the way through until it arrived in his office in time for closing. Gary even provided me with his personal cell phone number and urged me to call him over the weekend if we had any questions prior to closing.
During our final walk through of the home we were about to purchase, we found some additional items that were not up to par as they previously were during inspection. Gary was able to negotiate with the seller on our behalf so we could close as scheduled.
When we arrived for closing and met Gary in person for the first time, I was not surprised to find he was one of the friendliest, kindest, most down-to-earth people I've met. Without a doubt, I will recommend Gary to anyone that needs a real estate attorney. Five stars are not enough!
