Request for Legal Advice on Workplace Injury and Discrimination
Dear Brain Thomas Rochel,
I am seeking advice regarding a workplace incident where I was injured on the job. My employer refused to call 911 for emergency assistance and instead insisted on driving me to seek medical attention, which I declined due to my condition and understanding of my rights. I feel this action was discriminatory and compromised my health and safety.

When I started working with Supreeta, my employer was trying to "manage me out" after an expensive surgery (they were self-insured). Unlike other attorneys I had contacted, Supreeta was willing to help me pursue my objectives, which originally was to stay employed and to obtain fair treatment. WhenI was eventually terminated, she was willing to take on what was a very messy case against a very uncooperative and dissembling legal team, and she steered me to an excellent outcome through mediation without having to file, which I think was the best solution for me personally. Supreeta believed in me even when I did not have any witnesses and she always had my best interests in mind. I would recommend her very highly to anyone dealing with workplace discrimination. Yes, it actually feels good to have a worthy credit profile. I want to use this time to appreciate PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST for bringing me out of a bad credit report that made my life miserable. 6 years ago I had perfect credit but my life spiralled out of control and was left with 50k debt. I had no way of paying for it at that time. I have been rebuilding my life for the past few months and need to fix my credit. I had 50k debt combined. 6 closed accounts with "negative pay status" "Charged off as bad debt". 550 credit score. I paid 2 of the 6 accounts off recently but the remarks are still there and nothing about my status changed on said accounts. PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST came through for me, with all negative entries removed; charge offs, late payments wiped out including closed accounts all cleared from my report and my score is now 804. I got approved for a Capital one credit card with a $10,000 limit and have been pre-approved for another $30,000 limit. I highly recommend Vanessa and Dolan Law Firm. After being injured on my bike and hospitalized by a careless motorist, my expectations for any kind of justice or settlement were low because I did not have the motorist’s name or information. Despite not having high hopes, I filled out Dolan’s intake web portal with the details of my injury event. After some phone conversations, I met with Emile Davis at their Oakland office (this was prior to Vanessa joining their team) to discuss the accident, and Emile walked me through the different scenarios and outcomes I could expect, which was very helpful and informative for me as someone who had never taken any previous legal action. Vanessa connected with me soon after she joined the Dolan Law team, and she was professional and clear about how she was going to move my case along. After my medical treatments concluded, Vanessa worked to put together a strongly documented and effective case and kept me informed the whole time. Vanessa’s willingness and commitment to my case was reassuring for me, especially considering the fact that at that point some time had passed and we had still not yet managed to track down the motorist who had injured me, and my hopes for a just resolution were dwindling. I was later incredibly relieved when Vanessa and the Dolan Law team succeeded in finding the motorist’s identity and then brought the necessary documentation and paperwork to the company that the motorist had been driving for. I was later awarded a settlement amount that was significantly more than I had realistically expected. I spent quite a bit of time looking for a good lawyer with his specialties and once I learned about his experience and capabilities, I knew that I would not be satisfied if any other lawyer were to take on my case. I am pleased to say that he accepted my case after our initial consultation phone call.
Morris knew exactly what was needed to win my case. Shortly after we submitted a specific statement that Morris told me to get, the agency signed a settlement agreement with me, in my favor. I would also add that Morris exceeded the amount of legal work performed compared to the fees for my case.

I hired a contractor to complete a large amount of work on my fixer-upper house I had purchased, which was also my first home purchase. The contractor I hired not only butchered the work he was performing, but he was further damaging my home, and did not even pass any inspections with my county! We had a contract signed for around $43,000. I called him over to discuss my concerns with his work, and he walked out on me! I ultimately terminated him due to his unprofessionalism and poor work. He filed a lien on my home so no other contractor or myself could touch it to continue the work on my home, and I couldn’t sell it considering! I contacted John, and John was cool, calm and collected the entire time since day 1, assuring me he know EXACTLY what to do! HE SURE DID! This was my first time ever needing to hire a lawyer, and he did not disappoint! He was very quick and got right to the nitty gritty of what needed to be done! He got my first lien removed, the contractor filed another, so he got that one removed as well and got the county to sign a judicial order prohibiting the contractor from filing any further liens with the recorders office! I was able to sell the house within the next week and have finally closed on my potential forever home! All thanks to John! If it wasn’t for John, I would still be dealing with a disaster and paying on a home I couldn’t even live in! If you EVER have any issues with a contractor doing the same things to you, trust John! Listen Cortney pulls no punches and honestly should get into politics because she will debate you into your next life if your coming against her client. Having her on my side made me feel lucky cause I would hate being on the receiving end of her questioning. She's professional and scary because again if she's fighting for you, you are gonna start praying those coming against you have tissues for the tears they might cry after she is done with them. The best thing about Cortney is even though she takes no bull and is passionate about defending you, she also makes you feel so protected and thought of. I had no idea what I was doing when I was looking for attorney, but what sold me was their slogan, "Women fighting for women." I knew immediately I made the right choice when Cortney and her firm reached out to me only 15 min after I emailed them! They were very caring when listening to my sexual harassment incident at work and were concerned for my wellbeing. After talking with Tim , I subsequently switched to Tim’s law group. Tim had to take on a WELL established Massachusetts law firm which could be intimidating; he was definitely up for this tough challenge. Other lawyers would not take this case after my previous lawyer’s handling and were afraid of losing this case. Tim was different, he wanted to help right a wrong as best as he could knowing what was being handed to him.
It was quickly apparent that Tim took his job to heart unlike my previous lawyer. Tim put the opposition law firm on notice that he was about the business of winning my case and not losing. Tim had a tough challenge because he had to rectify the mess made by previous lawyer who had my case on track to be a loss.
The best way to summarize how Tim handled my case could be explained by using terminology from the 1960s Batman TV series. In response to Tim’s introduction and demand letter to the opposition, Tim was hit with a response that was a BOOM. Tim responded and hit back with a KA-BOOM. Next time they hit Tim with a POW and Tim responded with a POW-POW; Tim did NOT back down. Tim worked hard and fought hard for my case. He kept me informed with every step of my case unlike my previous lawyer. He was honest with and didn’t sugarcoat what I needed to hear about my case. He did a hell of a good job with my case considering the mess he had to work with. I would absolutely recommend the Upper Charles Law Group as my experience was absolutely pleasurable with this law group. You will get a team of qualified lawyers who will fight for you and be honest with you, don’t hesitate to hire this law firm.
