I had the pleasure of being represented by Walter Schouten. Ironically, he was referred to me by an attorney that I consulted with. I was told to call Walter because he is very knowledgeable and he's an outstanding trial lawyer. Walter took on my case and he was assisted by an amazing paralegal in Vanessa Enciso. This dynamic duo believed that they could help my situation in securing me a new trial for a custody case. They went to work immediately. This was 2 weeks after I lost at trial while being represented by a different firm.
Long story long...Walter was able to get me a new trial, and he was able to get the judge to change her previous ruling. I am now the custodial parent of my 7 year old son.
I have to admit that even if I wasn't awarded custodial rights, I was more than satisfied with the representation and would have been able to live with the ruling a lot easier. Knowing that I was being properly represented was huge for me. Especially since the previous firm I hired for this case was absolutely terrible.

Our daughter was hit by a car and killed while in a crosswalk. We were fortunate to find Josh to take our case. I could not imagine a more effective attorney. Josh took on all of the details of our case. He recommended a highly competent probate attorney to handle the details of our daughter's estate. This lawyer saved my life at a very bad time when I sustained a terrible injury. Mr. Adams supported me in every way imaginable. He is a warrior and was able to obtain a large settlement which was much larger than the insurance co wanted to pay. These lawyers have deep roots roots in SE Texas which I think also helped. Gilbert Adams came highly recommended when my mother fell on an unsafe, wet floor at a local restaurant causing head injuries. We decided to put our trust in him. I retained Mr. Kline's office after being hit by a care while riding my motorcycle. While trying to heal from my injuries, my wife and I were worried how I would get my medical bills handled and since the driver had little insurance how we were going to handle this traumatic situation. Here is our story: We were in one hot-real-estate-mess, with the other party of two (2) attorneys trying to hood-wink us for a lot. Two against one, from a big Irvine firm.

Joe was amazing-and I don't think my situation was easy. I had two different accidents 6 months apart: car accident, December 2012 when I was injured by a gentleman that ran a stop sign in Denver then in June 2013 I was hit by a car while riding my bike in Iowa (two different states also created a challenge)........so things got a bit complicated, as each tried to blame the other for my permanent injuries. Joe was amazing-truly handling every detail, especially the stress that goes along with this type of situation. He answered every question I had-even if they were multiple times, or questions he wondered why I was asking. I had what some would call a “complicated” case. Which took time to sort out - many years in fact. Sometimes I wouldn’t hear from the office for awhile unless I contacted them first. I do think that this possibly could’ve been handled quicker. But like I said my case was complicated, they moved offices and then COVID - some delays that occurred we’re out of their control. Besides the delays - my encounters with Kevin and his team were always a delight. They were very professional, and took time to answer all my questions. We ended up getting a settlement for what I think I deserved and that was greatly appreciated. Worth all the time in the end. I would recommend them to a friend but hope they improve on regular and timely communication going forward.

I'm grateful to Kevin and his team of paralegals Kyle and Davis who helped us through the whole case. My case was complex however, Kevin and his team were able to resolve my case that started in 2018. During mediation and deposition, Kevin walked us through the whole process and prepared us for what the defense counsel was going to do and say. My case was resolved in mediation and Kevin always listened to our concerns and explained to us what was the best avenue and what to expect. The case was against Geico, and his posture never changed, thanks to that he was able to make Geico triple their initial settlement offer. I do not doubt that without Kevin and his associates Geico would have won even though they mistreated a loyal customer. I would recommend Leipow and Associates to does who need a great litigation firm.
