Mr. Travis and his paralegal Dauna were wonderful in representing me in my divorce and child custody case. They were both very knowledgeable about laws, and detail oriented in preparing my case. Mike has a desire to be successful in his services and representing myself. This was first demonstrated to me when Mike did his research on me to determine if I was being honest with him in the beginning. When he was certain that he was given all the correct facts, he took on the case. I really appreciated this, because when he accepted my case, he was committed to it and to me. Mike would review every aspect with me and explain the alternatives including the potential cost impacts with the various options before proceeding. Mike dealt professionally with everything that needed to be addressed. He discussed the issues with me and listened to what I had to say without making any pre-judgments. Mike would summarize the issues well and keep to the facts even though the other party attempted to “rabbit trail” at every opportunity. My “after-divorce” problems continued for years as the other party would continually challenge the final order. Even in this, Mike dealt professionally and worked to keep my interests protected. As for the process, Colin McMichen gave me a frank preliminary assessment of how my case was likely to play out.
I was comfortable from the beginning of our attorney-client relationship, that I was able to have regular communications with him. He gave me easy instructions to follow.
I was not rushed in anyway, he took time to ask questions and answer questions at the beginning to get to know me. He was very easy to talk with.
Being in two different states, we did everything via email and phone, with no complications.

Kristi came highly recommended by a long time District Court Judge. He described her legal ability as second to none in the area. Following a vicious pit bull attack while on duty as a Deputy Sheriff, I retained Kristi who works as a team with Jay Flynn. Kristi formulted a plan for the case and began sending me to doctors for formal and professionally documented evaluations. After a year of medical examinations from the defense and our side, The defense requested to mediate. This is where Kristi's ability really shined. Rob represented me when a negligent driver ran a red light. I did not see it coming and there was nothing I could do to avoid the collision. The collision happened while I was on the job. Since the case happened while I was on the job we had to deal with the insurance company for workman’s comp and the insurance company who represented the negligent driver.
The process was very complicated and I was totally confused and frustrated after trying to deal with both insurance companies. It was clear that they were not there to help me. I hired the firm of Crary, Clark Domanico & Chuang and I was amazed how quickly they took control of my case, stood up to the insurance companies and got my case resolved. I was walking in a neighborhood below my house when I was attacked by two German Shepard dogs. One bite me hard on my leg and broke the skin. I was dazed and in pain and called my husband who immediately came to pick me up. I called Animal Control and gave the officer all the required information. I retained Matt for a slip & fall injury because the insurance company was not working with me. After Matt took my claim over I did not have to do anything. Matt did all the calling, negotiating, and because of his due diligence I received a larger settlement than I thought I was gonna receive. I retained Matt Rizzo twice for two auto accident claims. Matt's communication and service to his clients are second-to-none. He always kept me informed about my case. We met a few times before going into depositions and I really felt like he cared about me, my injuries and fighting for my compensation. He always had a plan. I was in a car accident back in 2019, and the driver who hit me was uninsured. I have had 2 previous back surgeries, and this car accident is now causing me to have a 3rd. I contacted Jonathan and he took my case. He not only helped me to get a significant settlement with the uninsured driver (which he did not have to do since this was a case through City Court) but he was able to secure a significant settlement for me through my own insurance company. About a year and a half ago I was hit by a drunk driver and sustained some pretty serious and potentially life-altering injuries. I had a number of phone consultations with lawyers throughout the state (prioritizing competence over geographic proximity). A number of other lawyers I spoke to sounded perfectly competent, but Jon struck me as particularly thoughtful, measured, and precise in his thinking. So I ultimately chose him and am glad I did.
All I can say is that my initial impression of Jon was pretty on point. He is measured and patient in his approach to litigation, which (I think) is an absolutely crucial attribute of a personal injury lawyer, where there is the temptation to get a bit overly aggressive with the opposition and signal impatience, which then might lead to easier, quicker--but ultimately smaller settlements. Point being, Jon is cerebral, patient, and plays the long game.
Further, and maybe most importantly, his ability to formulate strong and well-researched arguments is top-notch. My case was a bit complicated, with a number of moving parts and policies. But throughout the year-or-so process, Jon went up against the legal departments of two big insurance companies, putting forward arguments that were strong enough to get both to fully capitulate (even in a case that was as anything but cut-and-dried as mine was).
There was, however, one negative point with Jon I should mention in fairness. In the little of a year long period I worked with Jon, there was a two-to-three week period where for the life of me I could not get a hold of him. I left numerous voicemails, messages with the secretary, etc, but no luck. After writing an email to him him he promptly responded and explained that he was in the midst of a court-proceeding which was pretty much all-consuming. As demanding as they are, I understood and held nothing against him. (I even debate whether I should include this in my review, but hey, full disclosure.) And after that two/three week lapse of communication he was super prompt in getting back to me and keeping in touch.
All in all, being the tough grader that I am, I'd give Jon a 9.5/10....meaning he's a mere half-point away from being a flawless and ideal attorney to have on your side. I would not only recommend, but *urge* any friend or family to hire Jon.
