Attorney Shaughnessy handled a complex law suit against my former employer. His ability to listen and quickly identify the salient points was excellent, as was his ability to clearly communicate the legal position and options. Ultimately, we were successful in settling the suit due to Attorney Shaughnessy's analysis of their responses and motions, strategic filing of motions, and communication and negotiating with their attorney, who happened to be from a very large Philadelphia law firm.

While writing my and wife's will Mr. Shaughnessy noticed that I had supplied incorrect information, information that I did not think critical to our estate. Mr. Shaughnessy explained that this certain information was indeed critical and could cause severe problems. We could not thank him enough.
Since he is the sole attorney his schedule is almost always filled, but no matter how busy he is he returns our phone calls within an hour (we have heard the same from other of his clients as well). Intelligent, patient, Mr. Shaughnessy is just about the best lawyer you could ask for. Any friends we hear needing legal help we recommend him.

I was in a motorcycle accident. Mike guided me through the process fairly and with great judgement and timing in my opinion. He was personable, yet firm. He offered guidance not direction which made him ethically sound in my opinion. Without Mike's guidance, I would have not been able to recover even close to a fair amount for my claim. He did not direct any of my actions. His ethics guided my direction. I've hired the Lagarde Law Firm twice now (one car accident handled by Mary and one contracts case handled by Richard) and have been pleased with the level of service and results both times. Charlie Waters got me through the most difficult ordeal of my life. There were times when I just wanted to give up and give in, but he wouldn’t let me. Well, don't let this young man's age fool you. This skilled attorney is a dogged litigator!
We were denied coverage by our insurance on a claim for damage to a rental house that we own. The tenants left in the middle of the night, and left mountains of debris and severe damage to just about every room in the house, as well as totally destroying and removing the electric double-sized garage door, and stealing a major appliance.
What did Insurance Adjuster tell us after looking at the property? That it was "normal wear and tear", and the insurance company denied our claim.
We immediately engaged Mr. Runge, and almost immediately he set up a meeting at out rental house with the Insurance Adjuster. My wife and I were there, but we just stood by and let Carson Runge do what he does best - fight for his client!
As a result, within days, Mr. Runge informed us that the insurance company had agreed to a settlement, and not just a token amount. The amount we were awarded on our claim has enabled us to repair all of the damage done, and all of the costs of cleanup and restoration!
Over the last 40 years, I have needed to retain the services of an attorney at different times, but never have I retained an attorney who has gone over and above what was expected in order to make the client whole.

I was in an automobile accident in which I was hit from behind. I called The Law Offices of Marynell Maloney about a medical malpractice case on behalf of my husband. After the initial consultation, we were told Attorney Michelle Maloney would like to meet with us. When my husband and I met with her she was very straight forward and honest as to what we should expect if she agreed to represent my husband. Once she reviewed the evidence she agreed to take the case. There are several things that I admire about Michelle. One being she is a very compassionate and humble person, and very easy to talk to. With the caveat that I did not end up proceeding with litigation, I found both Mr Anderson and Mr Mitchell to be exceedingly professional and timely in their responsiveness to my inquiries. They easily could have recommended proceeding with litigation, but instead recommended against it as despite a strong case and likelihood of their own personal benefit secondary to fees, even a positive outcome was unlikely to be beneficial to me. They certainly put my interests ahead of their own.

When we started expanding our construction business statewide we were very fortunate to meet Mr. George. He was referred to us from the bank that was providing the financing for our work and also from our accountants. The law firm of Thorson Switala Mondock & Snead LLP is the best - Joe Mondock in particular. He took my son’s case after three other law firms declined – and two of the three chased us down, initially. The end result was that Joe Mondock got my son a decent settlement.
The other law firms were too busy, or not interested, saying the injuries weren’t bad enough, the medical bills weren’t high enough ($7300), etc., even though the case had several rock solid aspects to it.
My son and his girlfriend borrowed my car and stopped at a red light. A drunk driver slammed into the rear of my car and fled the scene. The drunk sped away with his airbag deployed, his trunk bent up and front end smashed. My son called the cops, and he and his girlfriend (she was driving) chased after the drunk in my damaged car ($6000 damage, in the shop for 100 days) and the drunk driver was apprehended after 7 miles of twists and turns. The drunk driver failed the sobriety test and was taken to jail. It was his 3rd DUI.
None of this mattered to the other law firms. For them, it was all about the money, and they said there wasn’t enough money at issue. They told my son to settle it on his own.
Of course, the drunk driver’s insurance company offered up “peanuts” when my son tried to settle with them. It was ridiculous.
After we pondered the situation for a few months, luckily we saw the Thorson Switala Mondock & Snead television ad where they talk about “Walk-In Wednesday”. So, we met with Joe Mondock without an appointment the next Wednesday, and we discussed the potential case, at length. He said my son deserved more than the crap the drunk’s insurance company was offering. In fact, Mondock wrote up the complaint with an additional angle reflecting the drunk fleeing the scene - extra ammunition.
To tell you the truth, at deposition, I don’t think the drunk driver’s attorney quite understood this additional aspect, nor their predicament. Mondock made the case about more than just the money. The defendant’s team understood eventually, when the case was settled for an amount double digits times what they initially offered my son.
Bottom line, I give the law firm of Thorson Switala Mondock & Sneed a solid “A”, especially Joe Mondock. He wasn’t afraid to step up to the plate and take a swing, and fight the good fight.

I thought Joe did a wonderful job for my daughter's case. She was attacked by a dog and was bit two times on her face. Joe was very helpful and helped me every step of the way. My family has obtained Joseph Mondock for legal services on 3 different occasions, different family members each time.
Our choice of him originally started when I was in an auto accident and we contacted his offices for legal services. Mr. Mondock came to our home to get my information as I was in pain due to my injuries. He was very professional and caring and took the time to make sure that I understood everything and answered all questions. Throughout my case he was quick to respond to my calls and questions as well as giving updates so that I always knew what was going on. He worked hard to get me the best settlement possible and make sure all of my bills due to my accident were taken care of. There was little to no work needed on my part as Mr. Mondock handled everything with the insurance and medical bills which removed all the stress of the situation from me and made it possible to just heal and deal with my injuries.
My husband ended up in an accident a few years later which was more extensive and time consuming than mine. When we determined that we would need a lawyer, we did not hesitate in contacting Mr. Mondock for his services. He once again provided the same excellent service to the point that he makes you feel as if you are the most important case he has. My husbands recovery and medical care was much longer than mine and Mr. Mondock still took care of all details for this extended time and got us a generous and much appreciated settlement.
Recently my son was in an accident due to an uninsured motorist and we immediately contacted Mr. Mondock to get his help in how to handle such a situation. He gave us the straight truth about how to deal with it and did not try to promise that he could do something that might not be possible just to get business. Mr. Mondock once again handled all of the details and worked with our medical insurance as well as our auto insurance for the uninsured motorist claim in order to get the claim handled the best possible way. He was even able to get the medical insurance to accept a lower amount for their reimbursement in order to provide my son with a larger settlement amount.
Every time that we have obtained Mr. Mondock he has provided excellent service and has never let us down. We have been completely satisfied with his efforts and would highly recommend his services to anyone. We greatly appreciated all of his hard work and the stress that he removed from us by him handling all aspects and details of our claims.

David is a truly great lawyer, as well as a tremendous human being. As a lawyer he is brilliant, aggressive when needed, thoughtful, confident, considerate, calm under fire, and most importantly has impeccable judgment. In addition he is a walking law library, and because of the depth of his knowledge and experience, able to think "out of the box" and with tremendous creative skill. As a client this was a huge advantage.
When our son was tragically killed by a negligent driver I immediately called David. I didn’t really consider a different lawyer. He was the clear choice. He will always do the "right" thing and fight for justice, regardless of the time and energy needed and the insurance company’s unlimited financial resources. He’s was all in. The value of this to our family simply can't be overstated. David Beninger, both professionally and as a person, is one of a kind.
David represented our family in a lawsuit where our son, a young man in his late 20s with a new wife and a baby on the way, was killed by a negligent driver while on his way to work. Initially the insurance company tried to blame our loved one for causing his own death. Many lawyers would have accepted the conclusions of the so called "experts" and insurance company, and turned us away. Not David. He instigated a thorough and comprehensive investigation that showed, through engineering and reconstruction, there was no fault on the part of our son. He was the innocent victim, not the cause. Through David's hard work we learned the company who employed the driver, either knew or should have known the driver had no business being behind the wheel of a truck. Without David's unfailing belief in our case our family, including his new wife and unborn child, would have been out in the cold.
David cared for our family with unfaltering compassion, and answered each and every phone call any of us made to his office almost immediately. Our family was in the throws of the worst tragedy of our lives when David took on our case. David took the weight of the day to day dealing with the legal aftermath, leaving us the ability to begin healing, resulting in a well-founded a sense of security.
David, and his carefully chosen partners and staff, were all there for not just me, but for our entire family through a lengthy and complex battle to hold those responsible for the tragic unnecessary death of our son responsible. At our request he successfully made sure we were largely insulated from the horrific facts of our case, to the extent that was reasonable under the circumstances. That was a blessing.
I think it's also important to comment on David as a person. He told us what happened when we asked, even if it was not what we wanted to hear. David cares about people first. To that end he is extremely generous with his time. He wanted to know about our family. It was important to him to know who our family is and who our son was. He wanted to get to know our family: it wasn’t a chore. Did our son like fishing? What were his favorite hobbies? Did he enjoy playing soccer? Was he a Seahawks fan? How many children did he want? What was his personality?
David couldn't change what happened, but as a person, not just as a lawyer, he made it clear that our family came first. What he could do was find justice our son and our family. His result far exceeded our expectations and assured the security of his widow and daughter. As a 2 time client and a lawyer myself when my family had an overwhelming life changing trauma, there was only one lawyer who came to mind to help our family, that was David Beninger. David is in a league of his own. I highly recommend him.
