Wayne Grant was there for me during what could only be described as the worst time in my life. He was professional, yet personable and left no stone unturned in getting standard operating procedures changed in hospitals to make certain what happened to me cannot ever happen to anyone else again. Being part of a lawsuit is frustrating. It is emotionally and mentally draining. I am glad Wayne was my lawyer. He was with me throughout the last five years and coping with the situation at hand was much easier with him by my side. Hospitals should be held accountable for any negligence concerning the quality of patient care. Wayne felt the same way. He always knew the latest update concerning the case. I received a letter or email every six weeks. I called quite a bit too. If I had a question, he explained it until I understood the situation. He genuinely cared for me and my well-being. My wife and I were involved as non-ticketed injured parties in two automobile accidents in 2011. We have just concluded 3-3/4 years of negotiations stemming from those accidents, with the help of our excellent attorney, Ms. Rebecca Albano.
This process involved extended communication with representatives of three insurance companies, the drivers / car owners and their attorneys, plus administrative representatives from more than a dozen medical firms and therapeutic treatment providers. Ms. Albano took care of all the myriad of details, red tape, and paperwork as our legal representative.
At one point, she provided a five-inch stack of accumulated documentation copies to a doctor with the information necessary for him to conduct a comprehensive interview and form an objective medical opinion. This amount of material indicates the complexity of our case, and Ms. Albano’s thoroughness.
Ms. Albano was hired by the Paul Wilkinson Law Firm in part because of her experience as a trial lawyer. We were assigned to work with her from the start, and she was always available to meet as we had questions, progressed with treatments, and submitted innumerable records and bills. Her guidance and recommendations on the litigation process were invaluable, saving us lots of time and headaches. She also was sincerely concerned for our well-being and healing progress, and suggested additional diagnostic / therapy resources to us to help speed our recovery.
We found Ms. Albano to be consistently tough and proactive on our behalf, and very well informed on the whole legal morass with which we were suddenly confronted. We would have been immediately overwhelmed and outnumbered, had it not been for her expertise and caring. She kept us informed, gave us good advice based on her broad experience, and always explained our alternatives then let us make the final decisions along the way.
Naturally, we followed her as she left the law firm where we first met, and initiated her own business. We had built up a great deal of confidence, trust, and rapport with Ms. Albano. She continued to represent us well as we concluded the first settlement, then moved through final mediation on the second.
We feel that Ms. Albano was instrumental in negotiating fair agreements, which provided enough money to pay all of our medical / treatment / related bills, her own fees, and left enough for us to continue with some necessary ongoing rehab / maintenance treatments. She worked hard and successfully for us, and we will definitely call upon Ms. Albano if we have need for an attorney in the future.

When I was injured in an on-the-job accident in 1999, Pat was the attorney I chose to represent me because he was a neighbor and a personal friend, who I had known for nearly ten years. Pat helped me secure an award for the state maximum amount, as well as an agreement that obligated the work comp insurer for future, accident-related, medical expenses. I settled into an amicable relationship with the insurer that lasted for nearly 10 years, but suddenly, for reasons that I've never been able to discern, I began having trouble securing insurance approval for prescribed medicines. Additionally, the insurer demanded I consult a physician located 3 hours away because they were "concerned about the quality of care" my pain management physician was providing. I suspected their concern was more likely centered on prescription cost, rather than quality of care, but I knew I needed legal help to resolve the issue. Even though it had been nearly a decade since Pat had worked on my case, he and his staff gathered the information they needed to adequately, successfully, confront the insurance company and convince them that they would not fare well if this matter would appear before a judge. It's probably no surprise that the insurance company tried several times to make it more difficult for me to maintain the level of pain control I enjoyed prior to their "concern" for my welfare, but Pat successfully met and overcame every challenge. He also submitted the bill for his services to the insurance company, who having been unable to produce a single, successful, legal outcome, signaled total defeat by paying for my defense! I don't know how Pat's performance could possibly be improved.
Pat provides advice that is reasoned and reliable. His strategies are informed by nearly 40 years of experience, which renders them particularly effective. He is practical, but he never made me feel that I was just a "client" or that my issues were just components of a "case". Pat never lost sight of me as a person, and he understood that the result of the insurance company's failure to live up to their responsibilities, was an increase in my physical pain. Pat and his excellent staff worked with an urgency that made me feel as though they were experiencing that same pain. Who could ask anything more?

Mike will absolutely do over 100% for you and give you his honest and true opinion on your matter. We hired Mr. Novotny last July to help us with my son's car accident. My son was hit by a driver going the wrong way and totaled out his brand new car of 2 weeks. There was a lot of confusion on which insurance was going to cover his accident as she was driving a rental car and also purchased their insurance. Doug dealt with the adjuster that was the WORST adjuster in the world for over a year. He kept in constant communication with us and always made us feel reassured. He was always on top of things even when he was unable to get a response for weeks from the adjuster. I was even able to reach out to him with questions in regards to finding someone to help with a different legal issue with my daughter and he was able to help point me in the right direction as well. Mr. Doug Novotny has been a great help with me and this case , I had suffered a totaled car accident with my first car ever. I didn’t even get to make my first payment on it , only had it for 2 weeks . This lady from Australia had turned into me as I’m going straight under the traffic light as she was turning left on the opposite side of steeet and we kinda went head on then my car ran into the pole. The place I had got it from Big O Auto , the manager had referred me to him and I’m so glad he did , he’s the best lawyer anybody can have hands down. He’s so open & observes everything & tries or does help you as much as he can & get you in the care possibly because that’s what he did for me & I couldn’t thank him enough. The chiropractor and massages he referred me to 10/10 it helped me a lot and made me feel alot better . I had suffered some back & neck pain from it but as I was going through treatment and everything I was getting back to my normal self the massages had helped tremendously. Then after that I wasn’t to my full potential so he referred me to physical therapy and that was worth it after a month of that n constantly doing the stretches & techniques I felt somewhat normal again n getting myself back. Everything he been doing for me been very helpful & well needed . Settlement money is good and all and I appreciate him for helping me get the amount I got in extremely blessed for that but without his help and getting me in therapy I don’t think I would’ve been the same again . I found myself one day needing legal aid to defend myself against charges of domestic assault, represention for divorce, and shared custody of my 3.5 year old child. Jennifer was referred too me by a friend. I meet with Jen, and felt from the start she was someone I could put my future in her hands. Jen had her work cut out for her because my now ex- wife had put togather a case against me to bet all cases. My assault case was dissmissed. My fight for shared custody went thur all the typical paths that one parent may take when trying to prove to the courts that another parent is unfit to have shared custody.Which included my child seeing a counselor at the age of 4 and 5. During my fight for custody I had asked Jen to do something that is most often frowned upon by the courts. That was to have my child be put on the witness stand in front of the judge, Presiding over my custody and divorce case. Along with many other factors in this case I strongly believe that the meeting of my child and the Judge showed the court how wrong it would be, and how much it may affect the way this child's life may have turned out had my ex gotten what she wanted. Jennifer fought for Shared Primary Residence, and won this for myself and my daughter. My daughter is 14 now and remembers everything that took place during the 3 years it took to get this case resolved. She does great in school. And has been playing basketball year round for 4 years now, she is in the 8th grade her grades are great, also does track.She has a life that would not be as it is had I not had a Lawyer that went the distance with every issue she could to prove the truth and get all the facts out for every one involved in my case too see. In the end I would not ever want to go through that mess again but if ever I had to I would want Jennifer Ferguson, to be repenting me in court. I always recommend Att. Unlike the other attorneys, Jennifer offered candid advice during our first meeting and described to me what my options were and the best case scenario could be.

Two years ago, a friend and I were hit by a pickup truck crossing the street with stop lights. The guy who hit us was trying to avoid a red light and didn't see us. Because there were no witnesses or videos set up at the intersection, we didn't proceed as we didn't think we had a case. I was in a traumatizing and debilitating traffic collision. I found Nicole and company through a friend of a friend. I had multiple injuries that were preventing me from living my life and maintaining my responsibilities. My injuries were more than intimidating, and my situation was extremely overwhelming and confusing. Nicole gave me peace of mind through effective communication and always making herself available when I would freak out about my situation. Her assertive and reassuring demeanor made me feel confident that everything was going to work out. I don't know how I would have survived this without Nicole and her associates. They made the entire process feel almost effortless, and by "process," I mean three years of medical appointments, physical therapy, surgery, more therapy, etc. Despite having to endure all of that, I had conviction that everything would be okay, even when I was on bed rest and could barely walk. I can't adequately express how positive my experience has been with Nicole and her associates.
We're almost done with the entire process, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. Nicole delivered! My injuries were treated by amazing physicians, and I'm anticipating a full recovery! All of my medical bills are paid, and I have more than enough to compensate for my expenses incurred because of the traffic collision. The best part of it all is Nicole didn't make me feel like a client or paycheck. She expressed genuine concern every step of the way and explained every possible avenue and their respective possible outcomes. She made me feel like a priority, and didn't push me to do anything. I am more than impressed with the exceptional quality of care I received through the entire process.

I was in an accident a few years back and got badly injured. Unfortunately, I made the silly decision of handling my claim with the insurance company myself at first. After the insurance company strung me along for months though, I decided to hire a lawyer and I asked a friend if he knew anybody good. He recommended Torsten and Nicole, who had helped my friend out in the past.
When I called Torsten and Nicole, I wasn't sure what I'd be getting into. I'd never had a lawyer before, but they talked to me about my case on the phone and then we met in person and I felt at ease. They never pushed me to do anything and were happy to meet with me to discuss my case whether I hired them or not. Of course, I ended up retaining them, and I couldn't be happier.
Nicole and Torsten worked so hard for me on my case and ended up filing a lawsuit and battling with the insurance company for about a year in court. Along the way, the insurance company kept tossing BS offers at us and I was getting really frustrated with the entire process. It seemed that the insurance company would never pay me what I deserved.
But Torsten and Nicole kept assuring me that the insurance company would come up with more money and that this was just the game they always played with people's lives. It turns out, they were right. After pushing and pushing through the lawsuit, the insurance company finally gave in and offered me a great settlement a few weeks before trial just as Torsten and Nicole predicted.
Obviously, I'm happy that I got the money I deserved. But I was even happier with who got me the money. Torsten and Nicole were not just my lawyers. They were my friends. They took the time to listen to me and understand my problems and they stood up for me until the end. There were ups and downs for me emotionally throughout the process, and if it weren't for them, I'd probably have broken down completely and taken one of the insurance company's BS offers. In the end, I know I got what I deserved because of Nicole and Torsten. They are wonderful people and made me feel confident that I had great attorneys in my corner.

My child was hit by a car while he was crossing the street in a school zone. The reckless driver’s insurance company completely denied my child’s serious injury motor vehicle accident claim, laying blame on my son. I was injured in a tractor-trailer wreck in Brunswick, Georgia while I was visiting from out of state. When I returned home to Florida, I called a large Florida law firm to try to handle my Glynn County, Georgia case. This was a mistake. I suspected my husband died as a result of medical malpractice. I was referred to The Dow Firm, P.C. by another attorney who does not handle these types of wrongful death cases. Mr. Dow and his staff of experts (nurses and doctors) evaluated the situation and found that my husband had been victimized, but not as I originally suspected. The cause of my husband’s death was found in some obscure medical record entries which revealed an entirely different situation than the doctors had shared with me. Mr. Dow’s law firm’s investigative work was exceptional and I am so lucky I hired them.
