Ian is the attorney for the quintessential "little guy." An attorney truly for the people. I was initially reluctant about hiring a large law firm to represent me in my case. All of the negativity you hear about large firms—not being regularly updated, not hearing from your lawyer, being handed off to paralegals—was debunked after my experience with Ian. When I hired Ian, I expected to regularly hear from him, not his paralegals, and that is precisely what I got.
Ian is selfless. He fights for what is fair and just. He will protect you; especially when the defense team of lawyers tries to personally attack you. The defense attorneys did what they could to intimidate me so I would drop my case and it almost worked. They attacked my credibility, pried into my personal life, and accused me of lying, being a fake, and a fraud. Ian was relentless in heading off the defense attacks and sticking up for me. As part of a lawsuit I thought every part of my life was subject to examination by the defense lawyers. Not true. Ian pushed back and had the legal intellect to back it up. It was such a sight to see. A big corporate lawyer giving up ground to the “little guy's” attorney.
Think of Ian as the big brother you call when the bully steals your lunch at recess. This sums up Ian and what he stands for. In the face of adversity—here a giant corporation—he did not back down. He stayed the course and believed in me. Every time I spoke with Ian or met with him, I felt confident, secured, and most importantly, that he had my back. I cannot write enough great things about Ian and express how much I really appreciate him as a human being and as my attorney.

Luke J. Puszynski is a sharp, kind, excellent lawyer that will be by your side every step of the way from the initial consultation all the way up to the day he hands you your check. I was involved in a T-bone accident and although that experience was traumatic Luke helped me understand the whole process clearly and managed my case perfectly. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. He returned calls very promptly. He made sure I was following proper procedures to get the treatment for the injuries I had and guided me every step of the way. He made the right recommendations with how to negotiate with the insurance company for the maximum settlement possible without having to go to trial. He also has years of experience in the courtroom if in fact you do have to go to trial. He could quickly give examples of other cases to help me better understand my own case. Background -
I suffered a severe head injury in Johnson County (I lived in Missouri at the time) that left me extremely sensitive to light and noise, a death sentence for a construction contractor. I was left unable to work and I hired an attorney who promised to sue and win.
Long story short, the first injury attorney (located in Kansas City) dropped the ball and let my case languish for 3years before it was almost dismissed. I fired that attorney and hired Jeremiah Johnson's office to try and salvage my case.
Jeremiah and his staff immediately jumped into the case and prepared it for trial. They deposed the defendant and his colleagues which led to a substantial settlement a few weeks before trial. My life was changed for the better by his efforts - I would still be suffering on a daily basis without thier help.
Jeremiah never failed to answer the phone or call me back like my first attorney. He always kept me in the loop, compared to my first attorney who would go months without a word.
Jeremiah also hired a medical expert who put a value on my permanent disability. This seemed to be a key to me getting a settlement that was literally 10 times what was previously offered when my old attorney was involved.
I highly recommend Jeremiah and his office to anyone who has a personal injury/permanent disability case in Kansas City.

David represented us for my husbands serious work related injury. Ours was a very difficult case that stretched out over 8 long years with many twists and turns.Even though it took a long time through no fault of his own, he remained very dedicated to our case. He never gave up. I was referred to David by my pastor after I had been injured working at a department store in town. Remodeling was happening and I was struck by a 4x12 piece of sheetrock. David immediately got my benefits started from my employer and then went after the contractor who caused my injuries. He took care of following up on all my personal and medical needs. When the case was finally over, he helped me with the purchase of a home and even found a nice used car from a wholesaler for me. Mr. Kieklak and his staff were very professional and guided me through the Social Security Disability process and hearing. I could not have managed to get the doctors paperwork and other items together for my case and have them submitted like they required without his help. Mr. Page helped me to settle my car accident claim against two very difficult insurance companies. It was a long process due to its complication, but Mr. Page walked me through the whole process. At one point, he told me if this were going to the court, he would still stick to our original engagement letter (you know most attorneys charge differently for the trial) just because he could not stand what the insurance company was trying to do on my claim. Fortunately, my case got satisfactorily settled without going to the court. I think he probably should have retired by now, but I would highly recommend him because he knows what he does and more importantly, he has the ethics that are the key to everything. At first Rob wasn't sure if he would take my case. After speaking more at length with him he felt that he did want to help me. It took 3 years. After being hit by an uninsured motorist, I tried to negotiate my personal injury and property damage claims with my insurance company. Though I'm an attorney, my insurer simply would not negotiate an adequate settlement of those claims with me. That's when I called Mr. Frye. He was able to see me almost immediately and he got my insurance company to settle those claims within a matter of weeks.
