It doesn’t get any better. Karen and her assistant, Chrystal, are Superb. I was a lost little sheep, in a wolves den. Then came Karen. Her actions helped me mentally, and financially. Usually, in these scenarios, there is only one winner. So, if you don’t want to watch your monies get burned up by a callous Lawyer actions, call Karen. She is the “Good” Karen. During my consultation, it was obvious that his knowledge was extensive and he helped me determine the best course of action in my upcoming separation and custody case. I had a two hour consultation with Mr. Lastra concerning my pending divorce and custody matter. I have multiple children with my spouse, including a stepchild from their previous marriage whose life I've been a part of since they were very little. Shortly into our meeting, Mr. Lastra asked me about my children and whether our relationship was biological, and then explained very compassionately that - unfortunately - if it were contested by either or both of their biological parents, he would not be able to guarantee me custody of or access to my stepchild as a de facto parent. He assured me that if he were representing me and I truly did want to pursue it against all odds that he would do everything in his power to help, but cautioned that it would likely be a long and costly uphill battle with an uncertain outcome. As heartbreaking as that was to hear, Mr. Lastra was the first lawyer to really prioritize and ask about my concerns for the children rather than choose to focus on my spouse and our finances and marital property. His honesty about that - the one outcome I care most about - gave me peace of mind that he wasn't just telling me what I want to hear to get me to sign his retainer. Additionally, while his consultation was not free, without my even having to ask, Mr. Lastra was extremely considerate of my budget. At the very beginning of the meeting, he verified the hourly rate that I had been quoted previously and told me how long his consultations with other people typically lasted. Then, every twenty minutes or so, he was kind enough to let me know how much billable time had elapsed and allowed me to set the pace of our discussion accordingly. Throughout the rest of our meeting, Mr. Lastra was both extremely inquisitive and educational. Rather than simply listen to my account of events, he engaged frequently, asking regular questions and taking notes. He also shared a wealth of his own knowledge, pulling from both general law and process as well as experiences gained from similar cases he'd handled in the past. During our consultation, I felt both well listened to and that I was speaking with an obvious expert. Prior to our meeting, I had discussed this matter with a few other lawyers, and while they were all quite professional and empathetic, none of them felt like they were being as realistic with me about the possible timelines, outcomes, costs, and the availability of themselves and their associates to adequately represent me and my family's interests as Mr. Lastra did. Though his rates are above average, my first impression from my consultation is that there is very good justification for it. He has absolutely earned my endorsement.

I went to Judd for a consultation where he was extremely knowledgeable. He was very upfront and honest about my case, not pushy about hiring him to take on my case, allowed my family and I privacy in a separate room to decide if we wanted to move forward with him. We decided to choose him and so thankful that we did! He was always easy to get in contact with and very professional. Of course one only needs an employment attorney when something bad has happened. I went home and googled employment attorneys. I have known Andrew Dansicker for several years and while I knew he was an attorney, I did not know his specialty. When Andrew’s name came up in my google search, I pulled up his web site. The kindness and warm feeling at a very dark time for me was all I needed to send in a request for a free consultation. Andrew was wonderful to work with, he was kind, caring, and responsive, he followed up, and he tried his best for me. In the end he was able to negotiate improved terms with my former employer. I hope you never need an employment attorney, but if you do I recommend Andrew Dansicker without reservation.

Where do I start? We were lucky to be referred to Mr. Darrow when we thought our case had little hope of being favorably resolved. Being from out of state (Illinois), we were worried that our case would be taken with a grain of salt. Not Mr. Darrow. He was detailed, fierce, intense and honest with us from the beginning. When we finally were able to meet with him in person, he was courteous, respectful and really good at breaking things down into Lamen's Terms for us. I sat in the courtroom watching him fight for us and was speechless. I can't say enough amazing things about this man and his ability to fight for the "little guy". I hired Mr. Darrow on a reference from a friend to rep me in a business matter (construction and contracts), which he did a wonderful job!! He believes in keeping attorney costs down and was wonderful to work with. I had to resign from the post office because it was getting too difficult for me to work with my knees. I had already had surgery on one knee and it wasn't quite right. I was depressed and my anxiety level was through the roof by the time I found him online. Thank God for finding him. I really didn't think he would be able to help me, because I lived in MO. I noticed on reviews that he took on many people from all over the US. I could even ask people who had hired him before, for reference. I liked that he doesn't charge an hourly rate. I personally like to know up front what something is going to cost me and that is how he does it. I couldn't of done this without him. I'm glad he was on my side. I recommend Robert to anyone who is trying to get federal disability retirement.

I strongly disagree with reviews that dismiss Felinton Elder Law as a sales scam. For the past five years, Mindy has worked with three generations of my family on many elder-related issues such as wills, POA's, health-related documents, and, especially, various types of estate planning trusts. Elder care legal considerations are, by their very nature, complex, time-consuming, and expensive. Through all of our interactions, Mindy has balanced the professional and the personal, more than once going our of her way to make last-minute personal accommodations and document changes necessary for our peace of mind. She has gotten to know our entire family: from my late father, to my wife and myself, and now our sons. (And yes, we all enjoy the warm reception her office staff and her canine companions Scruffy and Princess provide at each appointment.) So, if you are looking for quick, cheap elder-related legal packages that promise the world, look to the Internet for shake-and-bake, cut-rate legal advice of dubious value. When I was served with a temporary restraining orders from my wife, kids and residence on a Sunday morning, my world flipped upside down. I never had domestic issues before so I was scared beyond belief. Thank the moon and stars for Natasha! She got back to me on a Sunday, calmed me down and said she would be at court the following day at 8a. OMG the relief! The next morning the hearing was heard. Natasha's task was very very hard. The evidentiary standard for me to be removed from my home was very low. The judge made this clear to us all. The judge then asked if I would just consent. The amount of stress I felt was crazy. Low bar did not sound good at all. We proceed to trial and it was exactly what you never want to see and hear. A so called loved one spewing lies under oath and "fishing" for anything they can find to meet a "low bar". The expedition went back 10 years in time, things me and Natasha never had a chance to discuss as it was never mentioned in this complaint. Natasha did not fret at all during the hearing. Natasha tore my ex up pretty badly on cross. To the point of reminding her about perjury. My ex's lawyer was forced into speaking mostly after that point and Natasha shut that down. The judge had seen enough of the act. The order was struck down and I was able to return to my home where I have lived since Natasha's win for me that day in court July 2019. Most guys don't get past this point. Once your out the house, the narrative changes, especially with kids involved. Along with this restraining order, my ex charged me with criminal charges as well. After a quick discussion with the prosecutor, Natasha had the state drop these frivolous charges before the judge even took the bench. Our defense was based on the previous testimony. Natasha's cross examination was that strong. Natasha takes abuse of the system very seriously. She knows her criminal law and she knows how it is abused. She is a blessing for me and my family. I recommend her very highly and cannot thank her enough for what she has done for me and my family.

I first contacted Mrs.Dannemann Slater back in 2004 for child custody case after meeting with her and getting to know a little more about her I hired her right away to represent myself and my son in this case. The first thing I noticed about Mr. McDevitt upon meeting him was his friendly demeanor. I was very impressed with his past work history and well read resume. Mr. McDevitt is an extremely thorough lawyer, he likes to cover all bases. He represented me in a criminal case and I'm glad he was my lawyer. Mr. McDevitt will tell you how it is whether you like what he says or not because he tells you what you need to hear about your case. He isn't afraid to go to "bat" for you either. Mr McDevitt believed me and believed in me and he just didn't fight for me he jumped in with both fists! He is definitely a real fighter that will fight for you and fight for your case. A criminal charge is never expected by most families. The urgency, seriousness, and despair can be understood only by the people or their families who had that experience. My son was charged with a misdemeanor which had never been imagined based on his school life. Mr. Hall was strongly recommended by my trusted colleague’s spouse who is also an attorney. With a wish to grab a straw in the middle of a miserable feeling, I left a message to his staff member, a nice lady, who had always been kind and calm. He called me back in the afternoon on the same day. My first impression of him was his confidence without hesitation and knowledge. He explained the process in detail, and we met after a week. I was surprised by his insight about the key aspects of the case and whom he should contact. To me, he had eyes seeing the whole picture from above and more than a sufficient network to get the necessary information and help in my county. Moreover, he showed understanding and emotional support, which is, I believe, a rare skill to the professional who deals with the law. He treated us as respectful human beings. He told us that there was a chance that my son could receive a stet, but the verdict was leaning toward PBJ in the process. On the court day, the final verdict my son recieved was stet! A miracle happened to us. Mr. Hall did not give up the possibility of stet and tried his every effort during the painful five weeks and even in court. Like an excellent pilot in severe turbulence when passengers can have no control, Mr. Hall persistently and nicely maneuvered our case so we could survive the worst experience in our lives. My wife and I sincerely appreciate Mr. Hall for saving my son’s future and us. If my friends ask me, I will strongly recommend him without any reservations.

Our son was a college student at Salisbury University and was wrongfully charged with first degree rape, which can carry a life sentence! We knew on the advice of attorneys in our hometown to find a lawyer in the area who knew the way things worked in Wicomico County. Mr. Hall was a former prosecutor so he knows how both sides think, and he knows the judges! William worked diligently on our sons case through the help of a private detective and an expert witness to prove to the state that this was not a rape case at all and had the matter resolved to a simple misdamenaor with a "time served" sentence. All the other charges were dropped! William took the time to answer our questions and and kept us updated every step of the way! He never made us feel like we were bothering him and understood how difficult this was on our family. Most importantly, he genuninely cared about our son and was able to get him his freedom back! If you ever find yourself in any kind of trouble on the Eastern shore don't hesitate to call William Hall! We're sure glad we did!

William Hall is an amazing attorney. He was very professional and down to Earth. I was charged with 10 charges against me everything was dropped and put onto a stet docket. I was referred to Lindsey by a co-worker after the death of my mother. I had never had to go through the process of dealing with the administration of an estate/trust of a loved one and from start to finish the process was made so less stressful with Lindsey's knowledge and expertise in the area. Mr. Silmi is an incredible lawyer. I had contacted many lawyers for the NIW and all of them refused to take on our case. Mr. Silmi took one look at my credentials and said it could be done. Throughout the petition creation process he was responsive and engaged. He gave clear instructions and he turned a difficult process into a much more understandable one. During the document gathering process after the petition was put together, the firm was a little slow to respond to inquiries, but it was understandable given the unorthodox nature of my questions. I nearly lost hope but, lawyer Bangudi was very helpful .
