I was served with custody paperwork regarding my child and I was at a complete loss, I was very emotional regarding this case and I am so grateful to have found Eric to represent me. Roger represented us in a custody and visitation dispute. He handled a difficult family situation and dynamic professionally and knowledgeably. He was there for mediation and prepared for court. Filed contempt charges when the current court order was not being followed. When the stress of the situation was intense he told me to relax, that I was in good hands and he was right. Roger will take the time to walk you through the process of an appeal to see if it's worth your time and resources. He and his network of former staff attorneys from the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court taught me that strict compliance with the rule of law is necessary or you will waste your time and resources. This means that the record must be cited accurately, facts must be taken from the record and you must comply with all the rules. Judges do not want to be overturned. I found Roger here on Avvo and he took on my unique and uncommon case that luckily he already had experience with. He explained things thoroughly but made no promises; he professionally provided his opinion while not guaranteeing any sort of outcome. We had the same lawyer since I started my brand 7 years ago. However, I had to get rid of them for the lack of due diligence on their part. Meagan was referred to us and all I can say is, wow! Night and day counsel experience. She’s very talented and professional at litigation. Business law is what we hired her for, but because she does so well, she’s now my lawyer for everything. If you have the opportunity to work with Wayne Clark, take it. Please take the time to read this review. My wife and I were recently forced into bankruptcy and we were also wrongfully accused of committing a fraud in a business deal that led to our bankruptcy. The plaintiffs sued knowing that we did not have the financial resources to defend ourselves. Their reason for such an action is irrelevant here. I was forced to try and defend us without a lawyer. Our case was complicated; I went weekly to the free legal clinics at the law library in Annapolis and attempted to educate myself in the subtleties of the legal systems. The task was daunting. During that time I talked many attorneys to get help, but we could not afford their services. I met Wayne at the free legal clinic at the bankruptcy court in Baltimore. He gave me a lot of helpful advice and went back to perusing our case. A few months later I again visited the legal clinic and fortunately for me; I once again met Wayne. I asked if he could guide me in preparing my case. I wrote a few motions and I asked Wayne to review them. He not only did he review my work; he assumed control of writing the motions I was seeking. He interviewed me and reviewed our documentation at length and he believed in me and our case. He knew that the plaintiffs did not have a creditable case; as he instructed me proving it is a different matter. He took on this case with an energy and commitment that astounded me. Although he had other cases, he still made me feel as if our case was always at the top of his mind. He seemed to work day and night, he would call me at night, on weekends and during holidays. He pushed me hard to produce the documents that he knew we would need for the case. As anyone can imagine this case was a very emotional and stressful ride for both my wife and I. Wayne was very good at taking the emotional anger out of the discussion and more importantly he was never afraid to tell me how it was and to take me task. When we finally got to court, it was obvious that the plaintiff's case was without merit and they agreed to settle out of court by dropping the case. Without Wayne's help, I would have lost the case even though the plaintiff's case was without merit. If you have the chance to work with Wayne, take comfort in knowing that you dealing with someone who will give you honesty, integrity and commitment. There are not enough words to describe our gratitude for having Wayne assist my wife and I with our case. If you have the chance to work with Wayne, Take it!!!

Hello I just want to say I called the Civil hotline for free attorney advice. Mr. Wayne Clark picked up and after I explained my situation as far as all of the loan modifications that I have been doing with my bank and their denials. I also explained to him that in a panic state one night, I hired an attorney off a commerical and paid him almost $3,000 to help with a loan modification that was denied. Not knowing that the attorney had possibly done something wrong Mr Clark advised me what I needed to do to get my money back from that attorney. Mr. Clark also advised me in approx 1 hour what I was fearing all along. See I had been fighting to save my home for almost 2 years, thinking I could. He asked me questions and evaluated my salary the home loan as well as the value of my home. In doing that he gave me an assessment of why the bank probably kept dening my loan modification and he made me realize that unless my income increased substantially like ASAP that my chances of saving the home was not great, that was the honesty do I need it. All I did the past two years was kept fighting and the amount of my past due balance increasing, and the bank was letting it happen. The bank has given me unrealistic expectations based on my salary and the likelihood that I would be able to catch up on the past due balance. For the first time in 2 years I was hit with the best reality check that I needed. I went to my church and prayed with my pastor and then contacted a realtor who basically advise me of the same thing. I did exactly what Mr. Clark told me to do and contacted the attorney, told him to give me my money back within one week and if he did not the steps that I was going to take in getting the money back. That attorney panicked to my surprise and did not fight me. I had my money within 4 days honestly, I could not believe it, I thought that money was lost and gone and thrown down the drain. I'm now prepared to move forward and start again. I'm so thankful to Attorney Clark because basically my funds were gone and he helped me get my money back free of charge with his advice. I truly feel he was a God sent and I would refer him to anyone anytime and any day. Thanks again Attorney Clark for all your help, bless you.

My husband and I were faced with bankruptcy due to a failed business deal. We were being sued by my husband's partners and had NO WHERE to turn. Our original attorney had been disbarred and we didn't have any more money to hire someone else. I was recently charged with a DUI in Maryland. My questions and concerns were heightened even more, as I am an out of state resident (WV), and did not know what to do. Mr. Phillips is excellent. I was able to pay a $300 fine and complete online courses, thus, not serving anytime in jail. I would recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation. All around professional, caring, accessible and informative.

After being charged with a boating under the influence charge with a .07 breathalyzer reading, I was told by the magistrate I could face potential jail time. Hiring Arnie was the best thing I could have ever done! He worked tirelessly to find issues with the DNR's statement, the sobriety test results and the overall charges. Ultimately all charges were dropped! He truly works hard for his clients. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

Let me start off by saying there are not enough positive adjectives to describe Matt Skipper and his team. I was the unfortunate recipient of an HOA organization that took FULL advantage of the residents because they could. It was an absolute abuse of power to say the least. However, in spite of the years of attempted torment, I was blessed to come across Matt Skipper. Although at that point I had PTSD from dealing with Lawyers, I left his office feeling like I had a chance to right the wrongs that had been done not only to me but others. Firm was communicative, explained things clearly in my opinion, KIND & EMPATHETIC, I never felt like I was bothering them & best of all I felt like they were on my side! !! What an awesome feeling! I had a BK-7 on my TransUnion report. The date is incorrect. It shows from 2016 but BK was in 2012. I also had 60 days late on a car loan from 2019, no collection and charge off Citi bank from 2019 paid. Started rebuilding December 2021 with 522 FICO 8 but none of the strategies worked. I have to look for a credit repair company which my colleague at work recommended to me as a PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST to me. I believed her because I knew she was having a bad credit score but that day she showed me her credit score was above 800+ I contacted them immediately to be honest I was not disappointed. Within 6 days PINNACLE CREDIT SPECIALIST wiped out all baddies on my credit report and increased my FICO SCORE to 811 I’m so EXCITED for what they did for me on my credit report. Matthew Skipper was recommended by my daughter. My family and I were being deprived of necessary access to our property that the condo association had no legal right to deprive us of. My company was hit with a never-ending “nuisance” law suit. Our long-time “K Street” lawyer was making no progress however he was making a fortune in hourly fees and if I put up with this “process” I would either have to pay extortion to the plaintiff or go broke paying my lawyer. At the suggestion of one of my employees, I moved the case to Brian Maul and was immediately amazed at how well he compared and contrasted to my previous lawyer. It’s easier to just list his many attributes: 1. He is extremely logical and really knows business law. He is intelligent, ethical and easy to work with. 2. He is very cost-efficient and generally produced 2 to 3 times the amount (of superior) work my previous lawyer did on a per hour basis. 3. He got up to speed with the case fast. In less than a month, he knew a lot more about this case than my previous lawyer who had been milking it for over a year. 4. He answered my legal questions fast and to the point. We discussed how we each thought the case should be handled and came to an optimal agreement; that worked! Brian submitted well targeted briefs. His in court arguments were well received by the judge and the opposing counsel was no match for him. This case was rapidly settled without going to trial. I never thought that I would compare the work of a lawyer to an artist.. Brian is an artist !

Mr. Piereck became my attorney rather last minute to a very complicated case. The states attorneys office at the last minute decided to dismiss it, but Mr. Pierick was extremely helpful and informed on all of my options moving forward and as to why the states attorney’s office canceled. If I ever had another case, I would highly consider even with a long distance between us in counties,I would call him again.

Paula took on our contentious custody case in 2019. Despite many setbacks from COVID, she helped us get custody of our child in 2021. Her knowledge of the Maryland court system and family law set up our case in the most successful way possible through multiple pretrials and contempt hearings; we didn't have to go to a full trial. We believe her approach to our case and was the reason the defendant asked to settle. She has been an attorney in Anne Arundel County for over 30 years and her knowledge, network, and skills reflect this tenure. Troy Nussbaum was very helpful in my case with a secure govt agency, I feel like he helped me know what to do when, researched and created a detailed written response - guided me through what was a RIDICULOUS charge, and attended an oral review.
