Consulted this firm re: estate planning, Medicaid prep for elderly parents. They asked for a lot of homework, info. I had specific questions, which Haley shrugged off. "All" and "most" of our assets would be protected. I took notes. "All" and "most." Repeatedly used those very words. Other options I asked specifically about, he wouldn't even consider. His plan, when finally presented, protected not "all" nor even "most" of the assets involved. Mere phone calls to other attorneys verified that what we had been asking about in terms of other options, taking seriously what Haley apparently would not consider as its billing possibilities weren't as great. Underwhelmed and overcharged.

I can't thank Robert Haley and his staff enough for all the help they have given my husband and I as we worked through the process of putting our wishes in writing. First, Mr. Haley reviewed our estate planning documentation from before, which had been in place for years. Since we did not have a specialist in elder law at the time our original documents were put together, we had many problems with our existing paperwork. Robert was so patient and explained the loopholes and why it was important that these gaps be addressed and corrected now to protect what is important to us for the future. We have worked hard all our lives to save money for our retirement, and knew if we did not get the proper documentation in place now, it could all disappear! Robert helped us get our Will's, Healthcare Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and our Durable Powers of Attorney all corrected. We now rest in the knowledge that the important first steps towards protecting our assets are in place. The services of Robert Haley and his staff have been invaluable to us. I know that in the future if issues arise, and when we need assistance with Medicaid Planning, they will be there to assist!

Mr Haley and his staff created an environment that was comfortable and supportive to my needs. I needed assistance with to sell my parents home, advice on their financial situation. I had to hire a CNA privately and Mr Haley worked with me with a Caregiver contract. There is so much to learn and understand about taking care of elderly parents. Mr Haley and his staff gave me peace of mind for so much legal issues. I could not have selected a better Attorney. Thank you for everything..

I first came across Mr. Foltz at the courthouse where I was struggling to get out of a very difficult eviction case for my tenants, who not only refuse to leave our premises, but also assaulted and threatened my family and I. Mr. Foltz overheard my conversation with the court clerk and offered to help. He introduced himself and asked me to explain the situation, which I did. He immediately assured me that he will be willing to help. We discussed his fee, which was out of my budget so he offered to take the case at no charge. He understood how stressful my situation seemed and wanted to help. I was truly shocked and grateful. Since then, he maintained in contact with me and walked me through the process every step of the way. He also appeared to all the court dates with me and not once made me feel that he was doing me a favor by taking my case at no charge. We were able to finally get the tenants out of my property and the case was resolved in my favor with the help of Mr. Foltz. I’m forever grateful to him. He is hands down one of the best attorneys I know. I would highly recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a passionate and talented lawyer because he’s truly one of a kind.

By the time I'd obtained Attorney Patrick Foltz as my counsel, my case had already been practically unsalvageable. I had a question about a landlord-tenant issue, and was calling lawyer after lawyer to ask them about my situation, only to be ignored or told I’d have to pay around $300 for them to say ANYTHING to me. When I called Patrick, I was blown away by the fact that he heard out my entire case, laid out the relevant law and gave me an accurate picture of things to come. I had never talked to the man before, yet he treated me like I was a family-friend that he was giving legal advice to. Because of this first encounter, I will not go anywhere but to Patrick.

Eric B. Stone successfully represented me in a case that initially I thought was going to be damage control. Mr. Stone listened carefully to my recollection of events, and immediately let me know that all was not lost. Mr. Stone carefully and methodically used the information I had prepared, coupled with the evidence collected by the state, and was able to craft a suitable defense. Mr. Stone's legal expertise coupled with his local knowledge and understanding of what prosecutors and courts are likely going to do, led us down a winning path. Mr. Stone is a true miracle worker! I was cited for reckless driving on my way back from Virginia Beach. He not only provided amazing advice, but was willing to work with me and explain patiently the in's and out's of the legal process. Mr quitiquit has restored my hopes in what a lawyer actually represents. YOU are absolutely his main concern when going into a court room. He gives no false hopes but does at the very least the best job he can possibly do. He represented a friend of mine and was absolutely amazing. The modern Columbo...without the cigar. Lol. If ever myself or anyone I know is in need of a lawyer Mr quitiquit is the only lawyer on our list. Mr Quitiquit is amazing! He turned a very stressful situation for me into one of awe! He knows his case law, knows what to expect in the courtroom and knows the appropriate time to strike and when to hold his cards. He was incredibly supportive, walked me through the entire process and never let me feel alone. While the entire situation was stressful, I had confidence that Tony had it under control and I needed to relax and trust him and his process. Daniel Fast is by far the absolute best attorney I have ever worked with. Not only is Mr Fast very personable, but he takes the time to review every piece of evidence as closely as possible in order to present it in a clear and concise manner. Mr Fast also explains every step in the legal process in a way that is not only makes it easy to understand, but he also has the uncanny ability to ease the normal fears of courtroom drama. Mr Fast quickly demonstrates a level of leadership that will leave clients confident in his skill and ability to litigate. I simply just can’t recommend Daniel Fast enough.

We have come to know Attorney Daniel Fast over two years and three different court cases for custody and visitation of my children. These were cases involving families from three different states. We found Dan on an internet review site, so we hope this review helps someone else seeking expert help in custody, visitation or divorce case representation. Dan is a very competent lawyer who knows the law and gave us sound advice on what was important legally to our case. He is an advocate for children and parents and worked to represent our case within the law. He prepared us well for court and provided us with a strong court defense. We appreciated the help that Dan gave us in representing my request for my child to be returned to my primary custody. This was a long process and very nerve wracking. Dan was available to talk with me by phone which helped me feel like I was doing all I could to advocate for my children. Dan also helped me complete a divorce proceeding. Dan has a great office assistant Pam who took my messages and kept me informed about the next time I would be able to talk with Dan. I needed a lawyer that would listen to me . I was going through a custody issue with my ex-wife. I tried to explain my issues with other attorneys and they stated it was too complicated. I was about to give up until a friend of mine who is a lawyer told me that the best person to go to if I wanted to stand a chance of winning was Kimberly Phillips. I told her my story and all the issues that I was having. She told me that she understood what I was going through and knew exactly what to do to help me with my situation. I hired her because I knew that she really wanted to help me. Her actions spoke louder than her words. She always contacted me continuously to keep me up to date at all times on what direction we were headed. I never had to wonder what was going on. She was always available to answer all my questions. She is very honest. She always showed concern. It seems as if she never stop working. She made me feel that I was her only client. I appreciated her kindness and her patience. Mrs. Phillips explained legal terms to me in a way that I could understand it. Mrs. Phillips did endless research on my case and was able to discover things about my ex-wife that I didn't know. In court, Mrs Phillips STOOD HER ground. I was very impressed. She is very good. If it wasn't for Mrs.Phillips, I would not have won custody of my son. I can not thank her enough. I rarely, if ever, write reviews, but had to make an exception for Kimberly Hughes Phillips. She is a true professional and she represented me well, in a very difficult case. Mrs. Phillips worked tirelessly to make sure my concerns were heard in court, regarding my concerns about my children. Her hard work enabled me to obtain primary and legal custody of my children. I have talked to her on Just answer. She was not able to type up properly or write complete sentences. Then was rude to me claiming that my English was not good enough to understand her broken sentences. I have a Ph.D. from the US. I understand, write, and publish in English. She was unable to answer my question and was rude. She might be nice in person but you she is not online.

The kindest and most lovely folks work at this office. I spoke with Linda first and she listened attentively and compassionately and asked questions and must have taken a lot of notes because when attorney Diane Stoeberl called me back that same day, she had been well informed of my situation and was ready to give me a free consultation over the phone. When we determined that there might be someone else more qualified to handle my very specific and somewhat rare tax issue, she was very happy to pass on that attorney's name and contact information. So while I was not able to use their professional services, I felt well cared for by their professional and responsive manner and I appreciate very much, their honesty. I would definitely recommend.

I do not recommend Nana Babington as a lawyer and I would rate her 0 if I could. She has failed my citizenship case, even though it was an easy one if applied at the right time. Because I was away from the US for 10 months during the past 5 years, I needed an attorney to give me a legal advice on when I should apply for my US Citizenship. So, on October 2019, I scheduled a PAID telephone appointment with Ms. Babington regarding this matter where she advised that I was already eligible to apply for US Citizenship. Further, I made the FULL payment (both the application fee and attorney fees) and she filed my case. Unfortunately, when I arrived at my interview I understood that being away from the States for 10 months I have broken the continuous residency requirement and as a result my case will be denied. The denial letter clearly explained that in case of absence over 6 months one must have some ties with the USA (either have an immediate family member residing in the USA, or be employed in the USA, or retain full access to his/her US abode). Unfortunately, I could not meet any of those requirements and Ms. Babington was aware of this. Upon receiving my denial letter, I called Ms. Babington and she promised to assist me to re-apply for citizenship. However, during this process she put me on hold for 2 weeks, then did not reply to my emails for days and refused to answer my phone calls. Later she emailed me saying that she was very busy with trial cases and that she did not have the time for courtesy cases. I emailed her back asking why she considered my case as courtesy since the case was failed due to her negligence and I have already wasted $1500 and 1 year of my time during this citizenship process and was not planing to waste anymore. She called me humiliating and blocked my emails. I have emailed her from a different account asking for a refund so I could find another attorney to work with. I have been patiently waiting for her to reply for OVER ONE month and haven't received anything to this day! Very unprofessional. So, long story short, please save your time and money and file your cases with a trusted lawyer. I am attaching her email as well as the part of the denial letter in my google review.

We found ourselves dealing with a serious issue with our child doing something very stupid. Kids make mistakes and do dumb things. Just as ours was getting ready to head off to college - the kid did what kids do and got caught. Serious offense and the potential to really ruin the rest of his/her life let alone lose everything in college. Chris made my child feel better, let him/her know the gravity of the situation. My child did community service ahead of court and Chris saved my child's future. I can't say enough about how he took a really serious issue and lead able to give my child a fresh start after a really dumb move, my child can now move on with life. So thankful for all of Chris's hard work!

Sooo Mr. Boyko was my court appointed attorney. I called his office 4 separate occasions. No call back. I still had to show up in court, and surprise, surprise he did not show up.... So as you can imagine I let the judge know, and it was continued and I decided to hire my own... it's all about the money, if you are willing to spend I'm quite sure he will represent you well, however if you have other financial circumstances.... go a different route.

This was the first, and hopefully last time that I'll need a lawyer, and I'm glad I found Marc. From day one he was able to put my mind at ease. I was represented by Mr. Jeremiah Denton in a complex case spanning over two years involving custody of children, a veteran, complex mental health issues, financial issues and much more. The outcome I sought was very rarely granted in the state of Virginia. However, it was granted in my favor. Without question I know that it was Mr. Denton's extremely competent representation and broad experience in presenting this complex case that brought the resolution I hoped for. We met Jeremiah A. Denton III when searching for a lawyer to handle our son's defense against a civil suit. We regret not having met him earlier in this process for the criminal defense as we are certain things would have been different for our son today. I am very unhappy with my experience at JGB. They neglected to follow up on appointments and the attorney was not pleasant when I has questions about the estate documents and I ended up with a final product which is unusable for our wants.

i got a possession charge and i spent hours looking through lawyers to find the perfect one to handle my case. between work and school i couldn't afford to lose my license so finding Brad on Avvo was a blessing. when we went to court he got me off with a really great deal in my favor. i honestly did not think it would've been possible to get that kind of deal with the court but with all his negotiation and hard work he made it happen. i'm definitely going to recommend him to anyone that needs a lawyer. i'd give him more than just 5 stars if i could

So so appreciative of Ty! We rented out our home and our tenants took advantage of us at every turn, most notably by failing to pay any rent for months on end and routinely continuing the case in court. Ty handled our case efficiently and professionally and fought to make sure we got what we deserved - and got our negligent tenants evicted. While I truly hope we never have to go through this process again, I know that we would call Ty in a heartbeat if so. I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone else who finds themselves in this sort of awful situation.

I used Grisham & Barnhardt services to close on my new house. I worked with Addison Barnhardt, who was amazing to work with. Addison was very professional, flexible, responsive, and most importantly, walked me through the process as a first time home buyer. I hired Johnathan for a semi complicated custody case. After being hired I found out that my ex had already filed and we had a court date already set. I sent this information to Johnathan he informed me that he had prior arrangements and couldn’t make it but would have someone step in on his place. Emily was wonderful and professional and also knowledgeable. My issue is more with billing and communication on what I would be billed. I turned out that due to Johnathans personal conflict with my initial court date I would not be paying 350 for any communication with Johnathan and an additional 250 for Emily. Had I known this would be the car I would had asked to be transferred over to Emily only as she was able to show up for my case and while my case was semi complicated it an experienced lawyer should’ve been wholly able to navigate it better than myself. Additionally, dusting a family emergency I called his office on a Thursday at 2:40 and was informed that he was not at his desk but would call me back. Due to urgency I then sent an email of which did not get responded to until Monday. He then informed me that his lack of response was because I did not include his assistant or the other attorney that I didn’t even know had been added to my case. Having never hired an attorney before better communication was expected in terms of who I would get billed for. The handout while full of information on how much certain tiers of employees would cost is helpful but really of no use when no one communicates and says this attorney will also be added to your case at your expense because on personal conflicts. I discontinued his services after he could not be reached and I informed him of my issues, feelings, and how I felt about his services and he responded with he “respectfully disagreed” I would recommend Emily as I actually did get to met with her in person and speak with her. I know billing and lack of communication was not her fault.

I knew I had selected the right attorney by the end of our initial consultation. I hired him to represent me as I navigated a divorce after a 38-year marriage. Although we used mediation & did not have to go to court, Jonathan was there every step of the way to be sure I was treated fairly. His response time in every situation, whether I called or emailed, was immediate. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a good attorney. The staff is amazing as well. I selected Jon McHugh of the Livesay & Myers Leesburg office to help me through a recent divorce. I unfortunately have experience with other divorce attorneys and because of previous issues, I interviewed a few others before I finally picked Jon. I was immediately impressed with his candor and demeanor. He didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, like many have. He also didn't look at his watch before he said hello or goodbye like I've experienced in the past. He listened to my story and gave me his thoughts about a path forward. I was sold on him after the first five minutes. Working with Jon and his support staff was my favorite of all time attorney interactions. Jon and Margaret Stanley were extremely responsive to any of my questions or requests and I never got the feeling that they were looking for things to charge me for like I've experienced in the past. The bottom line is that the final settlement came out much better than we discussed in the beginning. I chalk that up to Jon knowing what he is doing and the strategy he laid out working better than expected. Exceeding expectations is how you get satisfied customers and I certainly am one. As a side note, this cost me less in legal fees than I expected and much less than I've previously experienced. I would highly recommend the Livesay & Myers law firm and Jonathan McHugh in specific.

We were referred to Kirti by a close friend for marriage based GC process. From the start of the process, she was overtly helpful, caring and quick to respond to all queries. The process is not simple and has a lot of steps but Kirti was ever present and made us feel like we were in full control of the process. Her follow up was professional and timely. We communicated exclusively through email and phone but never felt she was not there. . She especially put us at ease prior to the GC interview and answered a myriad of questions patiently. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for any kind of immigration help.

So here it goes. As her site says that she provides free consultation. Be very careful here, When I called her she told me that she is busy and going to the courts and we spoke for like 2-5 min. After the 1st 5 min chat i called her again and she suggested to make an appointment and come to her office. And I did what she said after the meeting she said that I need to pay her $120/hr for this consultation. I was shocked as it was supposed to be a was initial consultation. I asked her about the free consultation, she said it already happened, at this point I dint wanted to argue with her and gave her my credit card she charged it. She also wrote a letter for me to give it to USCIS officer which was included in her package. And we both agreed that after my usics visit I will see if i need to hire her . She clearly told me to text her or send her an email regarding my case. I visited the USICS office and texted her she replied once and from that point was no response no at all. I tried calling her and left her voice mails many times but there was no response.

I think this attorney is a genuine expert in his field. My employer’s insurance company denied benefits to me multiple times for multiple reasons. Mr. Walker has successfully argued each case. He has helped me receive continuing benefits for the full cost of each medical treatment that was recommended by my doctors. He did this instead of settling my case for an amount that would not have covered all of my expenses. I thank Mr. Walker and his expert understanding for each success in court.
