I can not say enough great things about Mrs Clay. She is very attentive to your case and very knowledgeable of the law. When ever i email or call with a question Mrs Clay gets back to us with 24hrs. It is all so very nice when you call her office and her staff is very polite. The little things mean a lot, especially when you are going through anything with the court system. I've needed Jessica's help twice; once for a criminal matter and the other for bankruptcy. Both times Jessica took great care of me during two of the scariest moments of my life. On the criminal matter, by following her advice and also because of reputation/relationship with the Commonwealth DA, my matter was dismissed to a minor infraction. Jessica recently quickly completed several legal documents pertaining to wills and estates. We were under fierce time constraints and Jessica was able to meet them, in a professional manner and was very responsive and communicative. Mr. Kelley was recently my attorney. I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with the job that he did on my behalf. During the many months that he represented my interests, he proved to be highly versed in the law, trustworthy, of great moral/ethical character, and a no-nonsense kind of guy. He kept me updated throughout court proceedings and didn’t leave me with any unanswered questions. She has done nothing but waste time and money. I would not recommend her as an attorney if you are in need of one. Was very disappointed in her lack of effort to get things handled. I would do your research before even considering her as your attorney. So many great attorneys out there unfortunately I didn’t do my research and regret it. Just keep looking like I should have done. I’d give 0 stars if possible

Very professional and knowledgeable of the subject matter regarding my visitation case . Ms Currin was able to bring all parties together and allow that moment for both sides to actually talk and listen. She understood the assignment from the get go and made my job and concerns a lot easier through the entire process. I just gave her my first referral in which will be more to come if necessary . Ms Currin will give you that voice of reason and ease you through the entire process from beginning to end. I personally decided to keep her as my personal lawyer even after my case was over and settled. THANK YOU AGAIN !!!!!

The family court experience was great. Her office took care of all of my needs and were able to respond to questions and concerns quickly. I would recommend her to anyone looking for legal services. Mr. Cardon was a Godsend!!! I had no idea whom to contact for representation and blindly called multiple Attorneys' offices before Mr. Cardon was highly recommended to me. Several of the others seemed solely concerned about their payment (their initial statements only included the retainer amount and did not even ask my name before hanging up on me). I knew from our first conversation that Mr. Cardon was the attorney I needed in my corner! He was patient and took the time to learn about my situation. He truly showed up in the eleventh hour for my hearing that was scheduled the following morning! I was impressed by his professionalism and understanding, both in and out of the courtroom. Throughout the entire process, his level of compassion, resourcefulness and accessibility exceeded all of my expectations. The results of my case were life-changing in the most positive of ways! Mr. Cardon will always be my FIRST call should I ever need representation again, and should be yours as well!!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, David Cardon couldn't care less about helping us with my finance case. He took advantage and played me for $750 just to play candy crush in the court room with his hair a mess looking like he just popped out of bed and just "show up". He tried to avoid speaking with his actual client the whole time, stuttered and said UM the entire time while speaking to the judge. My fiance called him trying to discuss his case and David was chewing and eating all in his ear. With his lack of concern a public defender could've done a way better job and they are FREE. Let's not forget after he got us denied bond he ask for $10,000 and told me he would still have to do jail time. And he is a innocent man , I have proof with witness David never utilized. And due to him being a terrible lawyer my fiancé missed the birth of our son who passed away and he never got to meet him bc of this PEICE OF SGIT LAWYER . Now I have hired a WAY better lawyer to recommend for a fraction of the price AND HE WILL BE GETTING OUT . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER . This man cared nothing about his client or his case knowing we had a child due very soon and only wanted to take our money.

Let me just start by saying that The Va. BON is not your friend. Eileen Talamante is your friend. You bet, she is an expensive friend, but that’s only because she is worth every cent you invest towards having her fight to preserve your professional license ( aka: your future earnings potential), and fight she will like a magnificent pitbull. It was absolutely delightful to watch her spank the BON’s adjudicator ( The nerdy little short man who also fancies himself as a sci-fi author) for trying to take false accusations about me and spin them into “facts” at my formal hearing which was closed/ thrown out as a result of Eileen’s hard work and diligence. It can be an uphill battle all the way when dealing with an administrative hearing where the BON’s attorneys only have to establish what they consider to be “clear and convincing” evidence. The burden of proof is NOT “beyond a reasonable doubt” as in criminal cases. Take my word for it, you will not be able to “clearly convince” the BON of your innocence if you go it alone at your informal or formal hearing. Why? Because you will never be able to imagine all of the potential pitfalls that the BON will present you with, especially if you attempt to represent yourself, which is what I attempted to do at my informal hearing. However, Eileen knows the BON’s tactics, as well as how to shut them down. I am certain that if I had retained Eileen prior to my informal hearing, there would have likely never been a formal hearing, my total legal expenses would have been much less, and I would have been back to work much sooner. So, be informed and make a better decision than I did. Get representation right away, early on. Because, the BON is NOT your friend. If you are being called for an informal hearing, it’s likely because the BON already believes that “clear and convincing” evidence already exists against you. The circumstantial evidence that was stacked against me was overwhelming. It was like a pit of quicksand and I was up to my chin. Eileen was the rope that pulled me out. For anyone who is actually guilty of some kind of misconduct, you would still benefit greatly from having Eileen’s representation in order to ensure that you fully understand how to best navigate the disciplinary process imposed on you by the BON and that they are not excessive in regards to their ruling.

When I was faced with a BON complaint, I chose Eileen to represent me and guide me through the entire process, and I could not have made a better decision! From day one Eileen was informative, honest, and knowledgeable about how to handle the issue. Throughout the entire process, Eileen advised and guided me on what to expect, the current process, and her recommendations to help me with the case. She is beyond skilled and knowledgeable in this type of law, and knows the ins and outs of it in every aspect of it all. Being an RN herself makes her an expert in her job. I am so glad that I hired Eileen to represent me with the Board of Nursing. It was one of the scariest times in my life. Eileen is very knowledgeable regarding the BON process, and she helped me understand it. Throughout the whole ordeal she was compassionate and didn't make me feel bad about myself. Take warning that these reviews are very padded and not telling the whole truth. This is one of the most by far unprofessional and scummy organizations I’ve worked with when it comes to the home buying experience. Tried to charge me twice for transactions that I did not agree to. Had my realtor or myself not been paying attention vesta settlements fraudulently tried to charge me for a survey I didn’t agree to and tried to coerce me into wiring $2800 to them that was actually a refund to me. Had I not been paying attention they would have an extra $4000 from me. It wasn’t by mistake. You are trying to squeeze every dollar you can from unsuspecting customers. Also, unprofessional from top to bottom. No clear communication and instructions obscured by multiple people giving different instructions/info/dead lines that were often incorrect or incomplete. Withholding important information about Leans and other red marks till days before close. Customer beware. I’ll add more details later. If you try to reply with some lies about how things transpired I’ll gladly upload pictures of all texts and emails. This company is trash and you should stay away.

Nathan Olsen managed my custody case and he executed the case flawlessly. He would give you advice on what to expect and he is unusually blunt is managing expectations. He is VERY articulate and can would counter the opposing attorney when they try to be clever. His combination punches would floor any attorney that try to play dirty. After handling my own estate arrangements & will, I called on Richard to review and then handle my interests in the settlement of my Mom's estate. I am SO thankful that I did. Somewhat unusual arrangements complicated by naive executors and shady real estate brokers -- that took quite a bit of legwork to work-out -- were superbly resolved by Richard. Richard's calm demeanor & knowledgeable explanations coupled with sharp insights resulted in successful resolution of a situation that could have easily spun out of control. His willingness to go the 'extra mile', with support from an excellent staff, and his updates allowed me to shed the worry I was experiencing, and feel confident that my interests were well-represented. Even potential adversaries in this whole experience were complimentary of Richard's work! I recommend Mr. Nguyen without hesitation for those involved with estate settlements as well as real estate transactions. I believe his services would be particularly beneficial to those preparing for the inevitabilities of estate arrangements, whether their own or a loved one.

HE DONT DO S***.... BUT SHOW UP TO COURT!!!! MR. CAMPELL ALLOWED THE COMMONWEALTH OF ATTORNEY TALK HIM INTO GIVING ME SUPERVISED COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR A DOP CHARGE, WHEN THE "VICITIM" WASN'T COMING TO COURT, THE CHARGE COULD HAVE BEEN DROPPED!!!!! BUT SIMPLY BECUASE THE COMMONWEALTH OF ATTORNEY SAID I HAD A RECORD AND I HAVE SIMILIAR CHARGES, MR. CAMPELL AND THE VICTIM ALL OF A SUDDEN ARE ON THE BANDWAGON!!! HE DIDNT DO HIS FREAKING JOB AND FOLLOW UP BEHIND HIM. I HAVE NO CHARGES WHAT SO EVER TO MY NAME! BUT IM THE AFRICAN AMERICAN GIRL WHO MOTHER ISN'T COWORKERS WITH THE COMMONWALTH OF ATTORNEY EITHER!! Explained situation to him in free consultation. Speeding but record is clean. He said a reduction was probable even without a lawyer. Decided to hire him. Case was handled well and he did most of the talking. Charge reduced - good out come.

Nichols Zauzig, and in particular Cassandra Chin, has handled my family law situation for several complicated cases. Initially, I attended a seminar given by Mr. Nichols and he gave me confidence that the firm works hard for their clients. This proved to be especially true regarding Ms Chin. She is extremely well versed in Virginia family law, devotes the needed time and energy to the case, and far out classed the opposing counsel. She kept me well informed of the status of my case, presented options of how best to proceed, and every time we had a discussion I felt better about where I stood. I highly recommend Nichols Zauzig and specifically Ms Chin for any family law situation.

Cassandra Chin came highly recommended and I’m grateful for the recommendation. I retained her services for a post-divorce custody issue and both her and her whole team are smart, responsive, realistic, compassionate, and just so good at what they do. You're in excellent, highly capable hands from start to finish. Questions are always answered. I always knew exactly what was going on in our case. And you can tell just how respected she is in her field. Our case was resolved fairly and efficiently. It sounds odd to say when you are dealing with family law, but I enjoyed my time working with Cassandra and her team. While I hope to not have to retain her services again (knock on wood), I would 100% be a repeat client.

I was given Nichols Zauzig a few years ago as I contemplated a divorce. I’m thankful that I had their number because I suddenly needed them. My ex had her attorney send me an email telling me she wanted a divorce. Cassandra Chin urged me to try to work out a settlement agreement with my ex, but it is no surprise we couldn’t work anything out ourselves. Just before we went into a settlement meeting between the 2 attorneys and my ex, my ex pulled her original (untenable) offer and submitted an offer even worse. Cassandra called me before sending me the new offer and and told me not to worry because the new offer was against Virginia statute in several areas. She assured me that I would do better than the original offer my ex had just pulled. She was absolutely correct in her assessment. We got a much better deal and made a few nominal concessions early in the meeting that paid dividends later. Though I got divorced later in life and my ex had no savings or investments of her own, I will be able to retire thanks in no small part to Cassandra’s guidance. I thought we worked well together and I owe my future to her.

I was referred to this attorney and he came highly recommended, looking at the Google reviews and the extensive "knowledge" that was noted, I thought it was a no Brainer to higher him! Although, I could have retained another lawyer at a cheaper rate. I wish I would went with a court appointed lawyer and saved $2500.00 because he did absolutely nothing to help me. I payed in full way before my court date and never received a call or consultation (which was odd in my experience). I had to call multiple times just to follow up and see if i could do anything prior to my case to help, no advice was given. My discovery was requested a day before my court case and our first meeting was in the court room for about 5 minutes basically telling me to take a plea deal. I had a DUI and refusal. I was convicted of a DUI and the refusal null processed which basically means nothing was done, I would have achieved the same results representing myself or just pleading guilty to start with. There was no Alcohol test done so you would think it was a win, he didn't even try to get it reduced to wet wreckless or anything. His entire attitude and disposition showed me he really didn't care about the outcome of my case or about me at all. He showed up late each time and was very sinister while speaking with him. I absolutely wish I would have went with another attorney. I have a perfect driving record and no previous criminal record. I subsequently have to have Interlock for 12 months that cost $90. Per month, $400.00 for asap, $220.00 for restricted license and $500.00 in court cost. This is insane and can cause economic hardship for anyone on a budget. You have to have a FR44 on your Insurance which also increases your premium. I made a bad decision the night of my DUI charge and the day I retained this lawyer. I've been bleeding money every since. I get that the law is the law and consequences are standard for certain offenses but I can't help feeling like I had an attorney who didn't care about me. I recommend him to someone else prior to my case outcome. Another mistake. 2023 showed me alot, I'm thankful that I can afford to pay the cost and I have the tenacity to comply with all my obligations. The commonwealth or this attorney will never see me again. If you're going to refuse, refuse everything the field test and breathalyzer, you might spend 6 hours in jail but it will help your case in the future. I made a mistake that will stay on my record for ever, and possibly prevent future career opportunities. You only get one chance, this is your future. I would advise to always speak up for yourself, and if not satisfied excersise your right to request different counsel, the court will grant you a continuance, you may pay a little more because they will still deduct fees for whatever so called work they did, but it could possibly save your record and future. Most importantly obey the law people!! Lesson learned!

Joshua Goff is a walking VA Code encyclopedia that can articulate a very strong defense for his clients. He is the type of attorney you NEED in any criminal matter. When I first spoke with him on the phone, he was very professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and confident in his ability to defend the case… in court he transformed into a ferocious beast, showing no compassion to the opposition, and swung one of the biggest bats I ever seen in court. I am more than happy with the result and I could tell that Mr. Goff was proud of himself. That was clear indication that he challenges himself to be the best and he cares about his work. The best part about Mr. Goff is that you can tell he is passionate about what he does and being in the courtroom is his element. No matter how bad you think your case is… TRUST HIM! Doesn’t matter what your case is or what you look like… do yourself a favor and at least call him. He is affordable and is ready.

Mark was one of 3 lawyers I did a phone consultation with when I realized that it would be wise to hire representation for my speeding ticket (80 in a 55), which in VA is very scarily a criminal offense (reckless driving) since it was more than 20 miles over the speed limit. Mark gave me the most competitive quote of any of the 3 lawyers I spoke with (flat $500), dissuaded me from doing some of the unnecessary extra tests that one of the other lawyers had suggested I do (e.g., another lawyer suggested I get my car calibrated from a shady-sounding calibration person that would make his report say something favorable to me). Mark was highly responsive via email, and got the job done -- showed up in court at the right day and at the right time, and successfully got my offense downgraded to a regular speeding ticket. I'd highly recommend Mark's services if you're looking for honest, straightforward, and effective representation.

I hired Mark for a speeding ticket I received, 40 in a 25mph zone (4 points). His communication via email was excellent and answered all of my questions within the day clearly and concisely. I could not attend the court date so Mark represented me instead. The ticket ended up being reduced to a "Town Code Section-Failure to Pay Full Time and Attention." Because this is a town code, it won't even show up on my DMV driving history! The result was even better than I could imagine. I highly recommend this lawyer. Throughout our email conversations, I could tell he knows exactly what he is talking about. Best lawyer I ever hired.

After a preliminary meeting with Ms. Griffith, I hired her to prepare and submit a Virginia Medicaid application on behalf of my sister who is under skilled nursing care in a retirement community. I could not have made a better choice of attorney, nor could I have submitted an acceptable application without her. Ms. Griffith is highly skilled, experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. She is also a pleasure to work with. I have a profound hearing loss, which she accommodated patiently. She always responded to telephone messages and emails quickly, and completed all her work-product on the dates promised. I learned that preparing and submitting the Medicaid application required Ms. Griffith to work with four principals: me who hired her, my sister the client, the nursing home where my sister resides, and the Virginia Department of Family Services. In a very impressive display, Ms. Griffith seamlessly brought all four parties together in a timely fashion to get the application approved. A complicating factor is that I live in another state, making communication and contact more difficult. I am convinced that Ms. Griffith's interpersonal skills were a very important part of the successful application process. He seems competent, but his political activities/ambitions and case load seem to distract from his work at times. He waited to the last minute to file some paperwork he was notified about a couple of weeks earlier. We ended up missing a deadline as a result. Fortunately, the consequences were not too extreme. I’m writing here because he won’t own his sloppy work. If he just said a simple “woopsies. Sorry. My bad” instead of not acknowledging the issue, I would have let it go and not be writing here.

I had a serious problem with the federal authorities. One of the biggest federal cases to come through Northern Virginia. Frank Salvato was quick to respond and with his vast knowledge of the federal system, was able to get charges dismissed after a long battle. After having a first ever encounter with police, pulled over for a traffic violation, and issued a speeding ticket along with a reckless driving charge, we asked around and our family friends recommended to contact Mark Cummings, at law firm Sher, Cummings, and Ellis. With the excellent assistance of Adam Collins, Mark listened carefully to our story, identified the alleviating circumstances and took careful and systematic steps to approach the case. He established and maintained communication with the police and prosecution, suggested a driving habits course to be taken, and made an excellent presentation of the case during the actual court hearing. Mark succeeded in dropping the reckless driving charge to a speed ticket and above all with clean DMV records. We would definitely recommend Mark for any case in Northern Virginia / Washington DC area.

Here is my experience with Irina Vinogradsky: I found Irina online to hire her for my H1B RFE response. She and I scheduled a time to make the payment & sign the engagement letter at her office. However, when I visited her office, there was no engagement letter prepared by her. I was running out of time to respond to this RFE and I did trust her to represent my case professionally and paid her the full amount. For RFE, it is necessary to provide expert and education evaluation reports. However, i was the one reaching out to her trying to find a company to evaluate my degree and occupation. However, between October 10 to November 2, only question she did ask me regarding my case was about the organizational chart of my company. My employer got impatient and considered withdrawing the application. Of course, i did ask for a refund. She said she put many hours on my case, and she could refund less than half of what I paid. I agreed, but I wanted to see the draft she worked on. Unfortunately she told me that she was not sure how this draft document would be in use, so she rejected to mail the document. After many attempts, she did mail me the draft documentation. On the document, my salary was shown less than what my company offered me. Also she put on the document that my company needed an H1B worker to support company's operations in China and Vietnam. I mean my company's marketing tagline is 'Proudly manufactured in USA'. My company does NOT operate in China or Vietnam. Plus my salary is way above than what she put on the paperwork! Long story short, I am extremely disappointed. I do not recommend her.

Received my first ever speeding ticket. I had made plans to go to court to both acknowledge my role in the ticket but also to ask for consideration due to my numerous years of unblemished driving. Fortunately, I received a letter from Mr. Winget-Hernandez offering a 30 minute f-r-e-e consultation. His suggestions were straight forward and he even said could probably get similar results myself. However, hiring him would save me from taking a day off work, a 6 hour drive, plus bring his many years of experience to the situation. Bottom line: The case was dismissed! Worth every penny plus no hefty insurance cost increases. I am very grateful and would certainly recommend his professional services.

He gave me a free consultation in regards to a pending lawsuit against me from a student loan debt collector. He laid out all the steps I needed to take and while he was willing to take the case due to travel time it would have been restrictive. He referred me to several specialists in my area and gave me several leads to follow if any of them were unable to help me. I was represented by this law firm during my divorce and I was let down as a father. I found them using the employee support group benefit I had and which they are apart of Elizabeth was a great talker and these firm will bill you. Right before my court date when she was suppose to represent me she was exposed to COVID. I asked for a continuance. This was because I felt she knew my case the best. She assured me her partner would be able to help me this in a four day turn around. Well It did not turn out well for me I ended up losing on all grounds. The property and lost more time with my daughter due to the new custody arrangement custody because of the lack of preparation by her replacement. He also stated he was not happy representing me because of ESG agreement which capped his hour rate this was in the court house. She was able to recover and clear up some issues later on when we cleared up the custody but by then the damage was done. AVOID THIS FIRM. Specifically Anthony Williams who was the replacement.

We found Elizabeth through my company's EAP and I knew from the moment I sat in the free consultation that she was the right lawyer for us. I hired I hired Mirham at S&R after consulting with over a dozen firms in the area. She and the firm were the only ones that did not insult other firms and followed up immediately. After my first telephone conversation with her I was sure I wanted her representing me in court. Mirham represented me in Stafford County District Court for a misdemeanor Reckless Driving Charge. Going into court I was confident she would be able to get the charges reduced, even though I had a less than perfect driving record. She was able to get the charges reduced to a very small fine.
