I hired Sam Wayne to litigate a case involving the FCRA, and federal student loan system. It was complicated, the trial Court was uninterested and unfair, often refusing to see how the dots connected, and without Sam's close attention to detail: would have been disposed of. At the end of the ordeal, after the Court dealt me one last bit of unfairness by abridging my constitutional right to a jury trial and verdict, Sam negotiated a settlement that maximized my return and didn't leave me with a huge tax burden. My accident resulted in injuries including multiple rib fractures and a totaled car. We tried for over a year to work with the at-fault driver’s insurance co thinking we didn’t want to involve attorneys. There was so much back and forth, and the insurance co wouldn’t even make themselves available before 8:30 or after 4:30 because it wasn’t convenient for them. They assigned different reps ranging from ‘Claims Generalist Associate’, ‘Claims General Int (does this mean intern?)’, etc. So frustrating! Then they gave me a lowball offer saying they wouldn’t go higher. I asked close friends for the name of the attorney who had successfully handled their case decades ago – Attorney Fehring.
From the first contact with Attorney Fehring and his paralegal Shannon, they handled my case respectfully and professionally; advising what they thought and outlining options. In the end, they were able to secure far more than we were while they handled all the interactions.
Thank you to Atty Fehring and Shannon. I appreciate all you did to help me through this.

Larry was recommended to me by a co-worker after I had been injured in an automobile accident. From the initial consultation through the settlement, Larry thoroughly explained every step of the process at the appropriate time. He always kept me updated on the status of my case. Laurence Fehring has my unequivocal and enthusiastic recommendation. I have a difficult time envisioning an individual who chooses Mr. Fehring and comes to second-guess the decision.
My knowledge of the Milwaukee legal community runs broad and deep. A car accident at the end of calendar year 2012 -- caused by the negligence of another driver -- left me with injuries, bouncing around from physician to physician and from one physical therapy session to another. Mr. Fehring's name found its way to my "short list" of lawyers for a potential representation.
After one preliminary consultation I knew he was the lawyer I wanted. In our initial meeting he manifested kindness, authenticity, amiability, strong listening skills, and more than a measure of wisdom. As time unfolded he proved to be especially -- in some circumstances nearly instantaneously -- responsive to all inquiries I posed via email. No less important, the team of assistants with which he works consistently struck me as every bit as diligent, skilled, and caring as Mr. Fehring, bespeaking (I am speculating here; but I'm comfortable doing so) the talent he and his partners have for training others.
My claim against the insurer of the negligent driver settled out prior to any complaint being filed -- as Mr. Fehring had indicated in our initial meeting is the case with more than 85% of the representations he undertakes. I was pleased it did -- even though, at times, my anger at the negligent driver engendered in me the desire to tell my story on the witness stand.
To repeat, to my mind Laurence Fehring is both an outstanding lawyer and a terrific person. Having the two rolled into one makes for a can't miss choice.

Mr. Graham handled the sale of my rental property to my tenants. As no realtors were involved, this involved extra work on his part to complete tasks ordinarily done by realtors. Since I live out of state, this added further complications. Mr. Graham handled the sale in an extremely professional manner, solved every problem that came up, and charged a very reasonable fee. Lindsey was the best thing to happen to me after my divorce. My ex had a large percentage of placement of our child and had been put in a position of power over me, making me feel like I had no option other than to barely see my son and pay an arm and a leg in child support.

Attorney Stephen Sawyer was my attorney for a case that had been in the courts for 5 years. As this case was scheduled for trial there was a large ammount of work that had to be done because of the severity of the charges and the fact that the incident was so long ago by the time we reached the trial date. Mr. Sawyer went above and beyond through this entire process. He kept me in the loop and traveled many hours to talk to me in person and to get any evidence that was needed for my defense. Hired Jason for a work comp case. I know my case was going to be rather involved so I sought out a lawyer through my Teamsters union. The Teamsters Lawyer out of Washington state recommended Jason.
After initial consult, I felt quite confident with Jason. However, at this point I felt compelled to write this review.
Over the months and months at this point of my surgery, having difficulties with the insurance company with TTD benefits, and not receiving medical devices needed for recovery that the insurance did not want to cover, I made several phone calls to Jason‘s office.
The first phone call I placed to him with questions about the insurance company/ work comp carrier went unanswered for more than three weeks.
When I contacted his office again, I was told that I needed to set up an appointment for him to call me back. This was accomplished with an appointment date, however, I did not get a call back.
I called his office again, and was put on hold for him to finally pick up the telephone. this was after my scheduled appointment time.
The Work Comp insurance finally came through approving the medical device with the help of DWD Madison Wisconsin work Comp division, (not Jason) that I needed after my surgery, but once again, I did that with the help of the Work Comp division in Madison Wisconsin not Jason. I also needed Jason to help me fill out a hearing request with the state of Wisconsin against the work comp insurance carrier because they were not paying me the correct TTD benefit amount. TTD benefits at this point in time are still stalled. The Work Comp carrier hasn’t done anything to adjust the weekly benefit amount.
I finally got the division DWD Madison Work Comp involved. Jason Oldenburg was not. I had to do this on my own. The state took a look at all of the monetary/medical equipment that I needed. And they have been the only ones that could give me any kind of help at this point seeing that Jason did not.
The state did all the TTD financial calculations, (which at this point the Work Comp carrier has not adjusted ) and stepped in about the medical device that I needed after my surgery six weeks after the surgery.
I also requested the paperwork for hearing with the lawyers from the DWD Work Comp division in Madison. I received the paperwork and it was quite perplexing, and I didn’t want to try and fill it out myself.
When I received the paperwork from the Work Comp division in Madison Wisconsin, I looked over the paperwork, called Jason‘s office, and talked to Ashley at the front desk, requesting a return phone call from Jason.
After 2 1/2 weeks it never happened, he never did call me back. That’s enough for me. If you can’t count on someone upfront before things get complex, how can you trust him when things start to get dicey/complex.
He apologized to me after the first unanswered phone call months ago, and said he would do better, keep me informed, “and to give him another chance” retaining him as a lawyer. I agreed to give him another chance and he did it again (no call back) I need help with my TTD benefits, he has been no help. I will not give or put my trust in a lawyer that cannot simply return a phone call. Anybody who Reads this review may think I am distraught, upset, or angry. I am not, just just very disappointed.
I wish Jason Oldenburg and his law firm well, he’s just not for me! I dissolved the client/lawyer relationship.

I was reluctant to try for disability, even with long standing multiple sclerosis. I knew I could no longer work full time, with my symptoms, but I questioned if I would win a disability case. Attorney Edari was WONDERFUL with not only my son who was in trouble, but me as a mom when I had questions. We spoke to another attorney about my sons case and all he seemed to care about was a paycheck and not helping my son. My son was facing time not only in jail but in prison, Attorney Edari worked long and hard to do what she could to lessen that time. I met Vata, during the most horrific time in my life, I was facing felony child abuse charges. Vata was the third attorney that I had spoken with inregards to my case. Long Story Short
Two years ago, there was a major hailstorm in Hudson, WI. I requested a quote to repair the hail damage to my house from a trusted contractor I had used before: Element Exteriors. They came back with a quote of $32,000 to replace siding, gutters and the roof. I submitted my claim to my insurance company. They sent out an Adjuster to appraise the damage. After reviewing their Adjuster's report, they came back with an offer of $2,500 after my $1700 deductible. They didn't see the need for replacement, only minor repairs. Obviously, I disagreed with their assessment since most of my neighborhood had roof, siding and gutters replaced. Most notably, the neighbors on both sides of me.
The State of Wisconsin has a law that if there is a disagreement on the settlement, there must be an Independent Appraisal. My insurance company refused to participate in or authorize an Independent Appraisal, which was against Wisconsin State Law. So, I hired Drew Nelson at Nelson and Lindquist to force my insurance company to comply with Wisconsin Law. After two years of fighting with my insurance company, Drew was able to get my insurance company to agree to an Independent Appraisal. After the Independent Appraisal and engaging in the "Mediation Process", Drew was able to convince my insurance company to pay what we felt the policy required of them and I was able to move forward with the replacement of my roof and siding.
