I hired these guys several years ago for a distruction of property charge. The result? I was convicted, sentenced to two months in jail, and lost my security clearance permanently. This was my first offense ever and these guys could not keep me out of jail. They also told me I could get my security clearance back which is not true. I have never been able to get it back after all these years due to this. I was also forced to file a waiver for my right to appeal and expungement (which seemed moot since convictions are never expunged anyway in VA). Do not waste your money on these guys. You are better off getting a public defender. Note that all of the reviews on their website are fake (easy to do when you own the site) and they have many shill reviews on Google and other sites where they pay people to write positive reviews.

I was facing a misdemeanor charge that would have completely uprooted my life and family’s well being as I moved out of state and jurisdiction shortly after being charged. How would I know that? Unfortunately, I have had to secure the PNA firm on different issues concerning a family member.
Even though, I’ve interacted with many of the attorneys on staff, Jessica Richardson has been the one that was retained for several of the most recent cases.
Throughout each process, Richardson has shown a certain character that allows you to feel comfortable in insuring that everything is going to alright. She was honest and forthright during each case and was able to obtain a much better result than we had anticipated.
Jessica has been responsive and attentive to all of our concerns by answering our questions in detail with the most simplistic explanation, and always keeping us in the loop.
It is clearly evident that when she is presenting her cases in court, she is quite knowledgeable in her field and is well respected.

When I was going through my divorce this past year, Tawyna was the right person to represent me. She was all business and fought for me like no lawyer I have ever had. If you need a strong lawyer, that has your back, and always thinking about you and your needs, she is the lawyer you for you.She saves me lots of money and was always very professional and matter of fact. The billing retainer was very reasonable in which my ex spouse spent three times more than my case. I didn’t have to be pay my ex spouse attorney fees, which saved me tons of money. Tawyna is the lawyer you need and would be foolish to go with someone else. Will go to battle with her again in the future. Her legal team is amazing and the model of professionalism. If you need a lawyer, better call Tawyna!

I was referred to Tawnya by The Alexandria Bar Association (ACBA) Lawyer Referral Service, for my uncontested divorce.
I arrived at the office for my consultation appointment. The receptionist (a gentleman, didn't catch his name) didn't tell Tawnya that I arrived. 10 minutes later, she came out, and was surprised to see me. Unfortunate, but fine. Now we can begin.
We get to her office, and the conversation went thus:
What's your situation? I'm getting a divorce
How long were you married? 6 years
I sent you paperwork, you didn't complete it. Yes I did, I emailed it back to you.
Do you have a signed settlement agreement? No, she won't sign.
Did you send that to me? Yes, in the same email.
Oh! There it is.
I was beyond frustrated. I booked a 30 minute appointment, and the majority of it was eaten answering questions that I had already provided answers and documentation for when she requested it 4 days prior. I was very thorough, to avoid this exact scenario. I wanted this meeting to be productive. It wasn't.
She talked me through the process, answered a few specific questions I had brought with me, but ultimately, nothing I couldn't have found online. Very disappointing experience.

In high stakes cases, there is no better than Bose. I was charged with Reckless by a super tough State Trooper who was a ticked off donkey. He didn't like that I had a bad record. I had another Reckless conviction in the past, numerous speeding charges and a - 5 record even after taking a driver improvement course. On court date, the battle was on. Trooper was fired up and they at first refused to take this charge down to something which wouldn't end my job as a commercial driver. I saw it. Bose spent hours in that room breaking down that trooper and the prosecutor. Finally, I ended up with a 3 point charge and a fine. Job saved. Bose came recommended by my family and they told me no one was better. I believe them now. He charges a little more than other lawyers but he is absolutely the best. His experience as a former cop and his decades of experience at this shows. High stakes cases - Bose. No question.

Damon Colbert is top tier! You won’t regret hiring him. In my loved ones case, we learned just how unjust the justice system is. The first attorney we hired was recommended to us by a friend and he completely dropped the ball. Never visited the jail, didn’t answer phone calls, kept us completely out of the loop and failed to produce results.
We decided to hire Mr. Colbert just a couple of months before trial and immediately saw the difference. He stepped in and was very attentive, timely, and personable from the day we retained him. He was also affordable. Out of the dozens of attorneys we spoke with, Damon was the only one who didn’t seem motivated by money. He actually cared. He routinely visited the jail at least once a week. We (the family) never felt like we were burdening him with questions or as if we had to chase him down for updates. He always contacted us first as soon as he received updates.
He was truly a blessing throughout this whole process. Especially given the fact that he had to pick up the slack of another attorney on such short notice. He did great at trial and presented the evidence clearly and professionally. Even when the prosecutors were twisting facts, he made sure the jury understood the truth. & most importantly the jury found him not-guilty of a charge that he would’ve been facing up to a decade of jail time for. I have not personally met Mr Colbert, or seen him in action, however I have recently learned from my second family, how he helped my "nephew" out of what seemed like a bad situation, especially in our Commonwealth state. Its my understanding he was very attentive and thorough before and during the trial. The outcome was in our favor! Thanks Mr. Colbert, you are a breath of fresh air to this family!!

Most people loathe hearing from lawyers, a sentiment I certainly share, with the exception of Aaron Christoff. He treated my case and myself with genuine compassion, care, and kindness that I’ve never experienced before from an attorney.
Amidst the mayhem and distress of family legal proceedings, I couldn’t suggest a more apt lawyer to retain for counsel. Without Aaron’s sensitivity, support, and emotional intelligence, I would’ve been far more miserable throughout my case.
