Fred and his team are seasoned professionals. I reached out for a consultation in the Morning Mr. Tortolero called me later that same afternoon. He was very friendly and professional but not like a stuffy professional. I was rushing I thought he is not being paid let me get right to it! It was quite the opposite, I felt like I was his client, he was patient, knowledgeable and extremely honest, transparent and supportive as if I was his client. He was like a cheerleader. He shot me down if he thought my suggestion was not going to fly in court he did not sugar coat things, I appreciated that. He was honest about the cost he did not lie and say oh it will only be x amount and I will have this done in no time. I was charged with 2 felonies, malicious wounding and attempted robbery. All because I made the wrong person mad at me. If convicted, I was facing up to 30 years in prison. Because the police never contact me to hear my side of the story, I woke up one morning to 2 felony warrants. The prosecutor offered a horrible plea deal, which would have resulted in me going to prison and pleading guilty to 2 charges. If it wasn't for Farheena's confidence and professionalism, I would have taken the deal.
We went to trial, and everything was working against us. The Judge denied every single one of our motions and agreed with each of the prosecution's objections. The prosecutor, during his opening, made statements that NONE of the 4 witnesses (including my accuser) ever substantiated. The prosecutor also informed our witness that he was an 'unindicted coconspirator', despite the fact (based on statements made by my accuser) that he was not involved at all.
Despite everything the prosecutor pulled, Farheena remained professional. She had a game plan, stuck to it, and kept me informed along the way. During the opening, the prosecutor made statements that we had never heard before, statements that had never been made by my accuser or his witness. Farheena calmly and clearly rebutted each of the prosecution's accusations, and outlined to the jury what they were going to see during the trial.
As mentioned, throughout the trial, the prosecutor objected to and the judge ruled against virtually all of our motions. Farheena knew the Judge's track record and was not surprised or rattled when our motions were denied. She always had a plan. She was also well aware of the prosecutor's demeanor going into trial and could anticipate what he would and would not do. She had an incredible cross of both my accuser and his witness. She rattled the prosecution's witness during cross to the point the judge needed to excuse the jury, and threatened to put the witness in handcuffs if she didn't behave. For the jury to see this witness absolutely implode under Farheena's questioning, I believe was a key turning point in the trial.
During closing, the prosecutor returned to his 'practices', making statements that had not been substantiated and tying together evidence in a light that favored my accuser. He urged the jury to find me guilty, and made a compelling argument for them to do so. Farheena's closing was clear and concise. She remembered minute details from the day before, reiterating both mine and my accuser's statements to ensure the jury understood how each piece of physical evidence, external factors, and testimony in the case fit together. She connected the dots from her opening, through the trial, and tied everything together. She painted a clear picture of what really happened that night. I firmly believe that it was her closing that lead to the jury's ultimate decision of not guilty on both charges.
I would recommend Farheena to everyone. She is the reason I have my life back. I wholeheartedly believe, if it wasn't for her, I would be rotting in a cell and my life would be over.
Because this trial was held with Covid protocols in place, anyone who wanted to watch the trial needed to do so from a separate room. My accuser, his friends, and 4-5 interns from the prosecutor's office were in that room at all times. My gf and friends told me after trial that during openings+testimony my accuser and the interns were laughing, joking, and were confident the prosecution would win. After Farheena's closing arguments, everyone in the room was silent.

Joseph King was court appointed to represent my son on a drug related charge. Throughout the entire case, Mr. King kept both me and my son apprised of each step of the process. He was able to secure my son's trust in authority and gain insight into what brought my son to this stage in his life. There were several occasions when Mr. King took time out of his busy schedule to sit down with my son and really listen and get to know him personally. I felt as though he served more as a mentor than as a lawyer. My son spoke very highly of Mr. King every time they met to discuss the case. My son listened to his suggestions and put them into action. I truly believe that children, no matter the age, crave positive attention and react accordingly. Had an unfortunate need to have an attorney. I initially went to an attorney that helped me out in the past. He refused to take this case and instead tried to turf me to a colleague of his who I researched and found that they had done something illegal and had been admonished in the past. PLUS, they wanted 5K to represent me. I received Mrs. Graham-Williams' advertisement in the mail. I researched her and other attorneys and used my gut feeling and decided to go with her. Am I glad I did!
I called her and gave her the particulars of my case. She matter-of-factly told me that she thought she could get the issue resolved for me. She also quoted me a price that was substantially less than what was quoted by the other firm.
Following her specific instructions, I was able to have my case handled expertly. I was facing a felony charge and potential jail time. Instead, the charge was downgraded to disorderly conduct. No jail time. I could not have asked for a better outcome!

We came in Drake office back in 12/2016 with really bad situation in my case. My I-130 was approve but same time I was on deportation with a supervision.

I used Sean to help me upgrade my OTH discharge. On our first visit, Sean was extremely professional and caring. He listened to my story with full attention. We went over my medical, mental and personnel records and made a timeline from when I first joined to when I left the service. My 2012 VW GTIs engine blew after a timing chain failure, and I was extremely worried that I was going to have to spend over $7,000 getting it fixed. Instead, I made the extremely intelligent decision of reaching out to Mr. Webster after reading a positive review of his services in an online forum. Although my GTI was not covered under warranty or included in the class-action lawsuit, Mr. Webster was able to negotiate a settlement with VW for 100% of the cost of the engine replacement, plus reimbursement for towing and other service expenses. It took a couple of weeks for everything to happen, but I am extremely grateful to him and his team. He may be a wizard of sorts.

When the timing chain malfunctioned on my 2011 VW Tiguan, the engine needed to be replaced at a cost of almost $6000, There were no warning signs at all. I wanted to see if there were any class action lawsuits for this issue so I googled VW timing chain lawsuits and found Steven Webster's website.
When I left a message for him, he called me back within a few hours, told me that VW was aware of the problem, asked me how much my expenses were in relation to the failure, and told me to send him a copy of the bill after I picked up the car.
Within 2 weeks the issue was settled and VW paid my claim. I was so lucky to have found this lawfirm!

I contacted Jose when he worked for another firm a couple years ago. He understood the dire and time sensitive situation I was in. He was honest and up front with me that taking my case on such short notice, while he would do his best, he cannot commit as many resources as he would like given the short turn around time and the other cases on his plate. Having said that, he said he would take my case, but just wanted me to be aware that he might not be able to do the job 100% like he would normally do. But he also referred me to another disability lawyer in case I wanted someone who could dedicate more time to my case.
Ultimately, I chose to go with the other lawyer he referred me to because I wanted a lawyer who could dedicate his full attention to my case. And I successfully won my disability appeal. So it is clear that Jose had no ego in referring me to another very good lawyer.
I really appreciated Jose's honesty and up front nature. And the amount of time he spent helping me even though he got nothing out of it.
If Jose says he can take your case, you can be assured he will dedicate the proper amount of attention unless he tells you otherwise.

I am 53 and have suffered back issues and surgeries for 24 years. I am at the point in life where I can't take much more day to day pain. In researching about long term disability I realized this is not a "game" the average person should play alone. Honestly I did not want to spend money as I have spent thousands on medical bills this year alone. Mr. Caballe made me feel comfortable from the start of the conversation. It was encouraged that my wife participate and he included her throughout the conversation. He pointed out so many areas that I never would have thought about or considered regarding the process of filing and collection LTD. How Social Security most likely will become part of the process and the fact that I do not have to totally stop living to be considered disabled, and ways to handle that. He also told me that I most likely will have additional questions after our meeting and to feel free to call or email him and he will respond. This single outreach says to me that it is about the client and not just the money. He treated us the way both my wife and I treat people. If I need to move forward with a disability claim, I only have one phone call to make and that is comforting.

Donne Colton was referred to me by a therapist who provides court testimony regarding the welfare of children in divorce cases. I sought the therapist's attorney recommendations because I wanted an attorney who had earned a stellar reputation for negotiating and writing divorce and custody agreements in the best interest of children, and I got that and much more when I hired Donne to represent me in my contested divorce in 2015-2016. My custody case was extremely complicated and contentious, and Donne did an outstanding job of navigating me through it.
I worked with him and with his excellent paralegal, Margie Madsen, for a solid year. When I was researching attorneys and collecting recommendations, a high-powered attorney connected to a family member of mine sent her an email saying that his divorce attorney "was the best thing about my divorce." I would wholeheartedly say this about Donne and Margie. The divorce was the most difficult, frightening, and stressful experience of my life, and I was continually grateful and glad to have Donne and Margie expertly guiding me through it.
Donne has a great deal of personal and professional integrity. He was everything I wanted in an attorney--he's knowledgeable, an excellent negotiator, very good with the myriad details that divorce entails, always accessible, a terrific writer (he wrote all of the agreements for my divorce), and he represented me very well, in court, in documents, in emails, and in phone calls with my ex-husband's attorney.
He's honest, ethical, easy to talk to, trustworthy, fair, and extremely hardworking. He worked through the night (and into the wee hours) when necessary when we got down to the wire negotiating my custody and property settlements with my ex-husband's attorney, and achieved excellent agreements that enabled my ex-husband and I to settle both matters out of court, without having to leave them up to a trial judge.
These same agreements have helped me navigate challenges I've had with my ex-husband in the many months since our divorce was finalized. The agreements provide a solid foundation for me to refer to, and excellent boundaries for us to live within.
I honestly can't think of any area in which Donne fell short of my needs or expectations. I feel very fortunate that he was able to take my case, as I could not imagine having had a better attorney to work with.

Words really can't describe the level of professionalism and expertise Attorney Wade possesses. I had a nightmare divorce/custody case that carried over from North Carolina for a total of four years. At the time I came in contact with Attorney Wade I was on my fourth lawyer and I spent almost 20k in legal fees. In time, I had become a "professional court testifier" and became very familiar with the legal process. I knew a good attorney when I saw one. I did my research and Attorney Wade had pedigree (which I heavily believe in) and I read several Washington Post articles that she was profiled in. I was impressed.
