Wallace B. Wason, Jr. represented our family in a case involving complex litigation, which involved multiple corporate and individual defendants, and as plaintiffs, a family including two minor children as well as a business. He filed our complaint within a narrow 90 days before the statute of limitations ran, and a counter-complaint soon thereafter. He was aggressive and impressive, both in the courtroom and in pleadings which is reflected in the opinions of the Court. Ultimately, one corporate defendant settled early (in the middle of a deposition) and a final settlement was achieved post-mediation with all parties.

Marvin is a great lawyer. He is very knowledgeable about the law and will work your case. I ended up firing my previous attorney and Marvin represented me in a Grand Larceny case. It was a minor offense but because I was already serving a sentence, and this would have been my second conviction, he got me off with a slap on the wrist. I ended up doing less time and sentenced to less than the first judge sentenced me to.
Marvin has a very dry humor and often that is how he tells you what is going on. This might turn off some people. At first, it turned me off but I realized that this was just his personality and how comes off. In a way, he did not sugarcoat anything. I had that problem with my first attorney. I ended up with a 2 year sentence because he mishandled my case. I was guilty but in our society you get what you pay for in terms of legal representation. I paid heavily and did not get what I paid for(First Attorney). Marvin was the exact opposite. He was pricey at almost $9000 (Thank god to family and friends) but I was very pleased with the service. His office staff are very warm and nice too(Catherine). I am grateful to her for always getting my messages to Marvin, and my family when I could not reach them.
They bent over backwards to try to help me deal with my sentence. At times I would call them to contact my family or to make sure I was getting treated fairly in jail/prison. They always went above and beyond.They even wrote a letter to the Warden to get back on a medication I was taking. They had decided to take me off of it even though it was working but a bit pricey(They will get you on cheap stuff in there to cut costs). Thanks to a letter from Marvin, I was placed back on the medication. I do not know what would have happened if I was not placed back on this medication. It was one of the only ones that worked.
If you are looking for a good attorney in Fairfax County or Northern Virginia you should consider Marvin Miller. At least you will know you got your moneys worth. He is very professional and in the courtroom conducted himself like an attorney. He stood up to the prosecutor like he was suppose to, and asked the Judge for leniency. My previous attorney was scared and shaking. You need an attorney with balls, that is aggressive, and can get you the least amount of punishment if you are already going to be punished.
The legal system in Virginia is ridiculous, and in Fairfax County even more horrifying. So you need someone who can keep you out of trouble. Marvin Miller is the man!!!! I hope I do not need his services again because I am leading a straight and narrow life, but you bet I would call him again if it came to it.

Mr. Brown was very good about taking me through every step of the process. Even though my case was not the kind where my career was at stake, he treated it with the utmost seriousness and was very professional. My case was ultimately dismissed just before trial; it seemed likely we would win and the plaintiff decided not to go through with it. If I ever have to do this again, I will call him!

We needed an attorney to help us with our copy write issues enabling us to pass the last hurdle in getting our work published. Manuel first helped us understand the surrounding legal issues involved. Once he did that he was able to ask us the right questions to guide his research. One of the things which impressed us the most was the quality of Manuel's research. This made us comfortable that all our issues were covered in depth and nothing would sneak up on us a year after we published. Manuel is also very good in interpreting the law in practical terms. Manuel helped us understand the consequences of every decision we could have made. This was very useful in helping us make what we believed were the best informed decisions and we feel comfortable now in moving forward and publishing our work. I would not be as confident as I am now in moving our publishing date up almost two months because of Manuel's work.

I do recommend Laura Jacobson for a very qualify lawyer in the area she is young but very knowledge in the immigration law. After being abandoned and neglected by my mother, my dad brought me to the U.S. when I was 8 years old. I came here illegally; a visa needed an authorization from my mother to leave the country. As I grew older I faced the complications of not having a status. During my senior year, I got turned down for scholarships, I had the necessity to drive and to get a job but couldn't. Other attorneys said that there was no way to fix my status unless I left the country and waited for a pardon that could possibly never happen. I felt like there was nothing else I could do. My dad said to keep doing well in school that "education is something no one can ever take away from you." I graduated 3rd in my class and got accepted into well-known colleges. During that last year of high school, I met a girl who had a similar situation and had received her permanent residence with the help of Cabrini Attorneys. I got informed and got in contact with Attorney Laura Jacobson. The process had to be done before I turned 18; we had about 2 months to get everything together. Court approved some of the paperwork needed for my immigration application about 3 days before my 18th birthday. Laura was great! She kept me informed and made me feel like everything was going to work out. She worked very hard and her work paid off when I received my green card in October! My life is so much better; I have my driver's license, a job, and I’m attending college to become an elementary teacher. Nothing can stop me now.

We had to deal with a breach of contract and, after a quick search, found Tony Damiani’s practice. Our last lawyer left us in the lurch and didn’t pursue the requested course of action against the defendant but wouldn’t give us many details as to what work had been done. Tony was patient with us, gave us very fair advice that projected potential outcomes and what he felt might happen if we pursued each option. He stayed with us each step of the way, quickly picked up where the last lawyer left off, and got us a better win than we really thought we’d get. I’ve asked him for advice on other matters a few times too and he is so very patient with me, despite me rambling when I get nervous. I know we got one of the best lawyers out there and recommend him every time we hear someone is looking for a lawyer.

I had the pleasure of working withe Rachel Buker on a contract breach case issue for creative work. She took on a case that was by all measures uncertain in terms of its outcome. Working along with Ms. Buker was great. I was most impressed with her prompt responses and keeping me informed on our case. She is exceptional, knowledgable and finds creative strategies to approach your case.
We had a large corporate suit and Ms. Buker made it feel less daunting for me in the process. She also handled most of the case with ease and gave me peace of mind. I want to thank Mr David Rosenblum for the outstanding service provided regarding my personal injury in the car accident case. It took more than 4 years for two attorneys (one in Maryland, another one in Virginia) to get the case settled. This whole process was, at times, difficult for me and sometimes painful. I have been an attorney in Virginia since 1985 specializing in Administrative and Regulatory law. I have learned one thing in my practice, which is not to practice outside my area of expertise. I was hit by a car crossing the street in a crosswalk by an irresponsible driver last year in March, and fortunately only suffered three painful fractured ribs, and no internal injuries. The Bourdon & Tortolero firm handled my 2021/2022 divorce case. Before I even hired them, I knew that they were the team to help me, as I was a demanding customer (I like things to be done yesterday!). As any divorce case, it was emotionally, mentally, and physically stressful to go through a divorce, not only for me, but for everyone involved (I have a son). Daniel, Katherine, and Jon were not only my legal representation, but they made me feel as a family member. Katherine specially was extremely efficient (normally within the same day of two she would have the new documentation redacted for my approval). Sometimes she would even call me to ask how I was doing. She would call everyone involved in the litigations by first name (which makes it special and personal, not only "business") and she knew and remembered every detail in my case. Katherine would even remember my dog's name!!!
