Once retained, the Spiggle Law firm was very responsive and provided me with specific and relevant input into my requests for a Religious Exemption and a Religious Accommodation. My employer initially approved my Religious Exemption, but verbally (and in writing) denied my Religious Accommodation request. I did my EB2 NIW petition with Yalda's help and from the beginning to the end she was very caring, knowledgeable, professional, and supportive. She helped me strengthen my case with very useful advice and she was always available to meet when I needed. In addition to that, she was very punctual to the schedule we set for the entire process which made it a quick process for such an extensive petition. On top of all these qualities, my favorite thing about Yalda is that she is willing to take cases that are not straightforward and work with you to create a strong case. For example, for scientists (like myself) she can build strong cases based on the quality of publications rather than quantity, while most immigration attorneys focus on just quantity. Overall, her ability to handle not straightforward cases this seamlessly and successfully is a testament to her exceptional ability as a lawyer. I hit the jackpot of charges in Arlington VA and was charged with a drunk in public while carrying a concealed weapon without a CCW and had my 2 small kids with me which the police also charged me with 2 counts of contributing to delinquent of a minor. I also had a seperate charge a few weeks later for driving under a suspended license. So 5 harsh charges and I was facing 1 to 2 years, maybe more, as well as tons ot fines and whatever else. I started to call various attorneys for consultation and I was reccomended Mr. Deane by another attorney who could not take my case due to being out of town and when they said he is a hard hitter, they were not lying. Mr. Deane listened to my case and did not sugar coat or promise the impossible to make me feel jolly. He was were caring, and direct and said he will do everything he can to help. He also advised me on things to do before court to help my chances, which I believe it did. Once the court dates came he was able to handle his part and got half the charges dropped, no fines, no probation and only like 12 days to serve which Is a breeze compared to 6 months or more if I stayed with my public defender or went with someone else. I am glad I hired Mr. Deane and will hire him again for any future issues that may need an experienced attorney that will get things done like a pro that he is. I used a few lawyers in the past and I highly reccomend Mr. Deane. The guy is a Pro and a Hard Hitter. You wont be dissapointed.

This is the 3rd time that Mr. Turner has represented me in court, and so I owe him a well merited review for his services. While it is difficult for any professional to divulge information, especially in when it comes to perceived criminal offenses, I feel like his efforts merit details. My background is a government contractor, where any criminal offenses would reduce my access to confidential information.
That being said, Mr. Turner has defended me successfully in the past, and this third time around he is still as good as 10 years ago. I was alegedly caught driving in the EZ pass lanes of i66, going 91 in a 70 mph, and was issued a reckless driving ticket. This ticket would cause me quite some trouble if found guilty. I had no choice but to call William Turner. He returned my call promptly, laid out a plan of action with some items that I needed to pursue, and then he met me in court early.
Mr. Turner presented my driving record, additional documentation, and a very well written disposition stating the case. My final case outcome was improper driving, which is a substantial reduction in fines as well as a non criminal ticket, as reckless driving is a level 4 misdemeanor. I could not be happier with the results. I recommend Mr. Turner to anyone that is in need of good criminal representation. While I want to say that I hope not to use his services again (ha, ha), he will be the first person I call if ever in legal trouble.

William Turner is nothing short of a life saver. You will not find a better defense attorney in Arlington County, especially in the domain of DUI charges. It is impossible to summarize all the reasons why into a couple sentences, so I will start by saying I fully support the key points of reviews already posted.
Bill’s reputation is backed not just by reviews here, but by members of the Arlington Judicial system. On the day of my release from Jail in March 2020, the shift Sergeant who I talked to previously about my case literally said “Wow, you clearly had the best lawyer for your situation” as I walked out the door serving 1 month instead of 12. Many other jail guards knew him by name as a former Arlington prosecutor, and immediately viewed me with new credibility (to the extent possible in jail of course) and stated he was one of the top defense attorneys in the county.
Clearly Bill’s experience and professionalism are unmatched, however it is the extra mile he goes for his clients that sets him further apart from his peers. Through my own negligent behavior, I called on Bill for representation more than once. Each time, he was straight-forward, honest and didn’t sugar-coat anything with false-hope. He took extra time each time we met, including close to an hour visit at 8 PM on a Wednesday after already putting in a full day of caseload while I was locked-up. Additionally, he called my parents in Chicago multiple times late at night to assure them I was in good hands.
Obviously, you don’t want to need a defense attorney, but when you do, that is not the time to be bargain shopping. Bill’s fees are on the high-end for a reason, you get what you pay for. Freedom and getting back to a better life is priceless.

I was locked up in Maryland on a DWI and was told by two different inmates that the best attorney they ever hired was Charlie. Of course I had my doubts.
I was facing a number of felonies and misdemeanors in the DMV area and also had deportation hold. My girlfriend went online to find his website but found he does not have one. Turns out all his clients come to him by word of mouth and referral.
I had hired a couple different lawyers before because I was impressed with fancy interactive web sites but they proved to be losers. I think I ended up paying them to maintain those fancy websites and they all helped put me in jail.
My girl called Charlie on a Saturday at about 9pm expecting to leave a voice message. What a shock when he answered. He explained his experience in federal, state and local courts and turns out he is a retired 21 year police officer. He has incredible experience on both sides of the law.
He got me out on bond, even with the detainer from ICE and then convinced the Immigration Judge to release me on my signature. Unbelievable.
I used Charlie in 3 different jurisdictions and the cases were either dismissed or broken down with no jail and court costs only. He is also handling my immigration work. Asylum for me and family green cards for my relatives.
Charlie is a one stop shop. Criminal, civil and immigration.
Don't hire an attorney because he happens to have a fancy web site. I would say the fancier the web site the more you are paying for a car salesman. You need someone like Charlie who is an actual fighter and knows the system. Hell he was the system for 21 years.
He has no website because he gets tons of clients by referral. His only advertising is his name and cell phone and believe me he will answer.
If you are in trouble call Charlie. He is licensed in Maryland and Virginia. He is also licensed in California but he said that is only for the people who own wineries. Too funny.
He is the best!!!

Mr FitzGerald came recommended to me from a friend. Like the other reviews I was amazed that he answers the phone most everyday and time. His knowledge of the law and relationship with the prosecutors is better than any other lawyer I have had to hire.
My case was a DWI 2, ASAP violation, 2 counts of Driving on Suspended, and 2 Probation violations. This occurred in Montgomery County. I had replaced another attorney who I had first hired who said he got me a "deal" to serve 60 days.
Mr FitzGerald somehow was able to get all but the DWI dropped and I did 5 days.
He is now handling my immigration case. He is reliable, responds immediately, reasonably priced and knows his stuff. I recommend him if you have any legal problem.

I was arrested in Maryland for a series of felonies and I got Mr. FitzGerald's name from one of the deputies who knew him from his days as a police officer. I did not get bonded out so I called his number on Sunday expecting to leave a message since no attorneys ever work weekends and most make you wait for 3 days before they return the call.
Surprisingly Mr. FitzGerald answered immediately and told me he makes himself available 7 days a week and most hours of the day, since most arrests occur at night.
Well I am glad I called. Although his fee was not the cheapest (you get what you pay for) it was worth it and more. He filed a bond motion the next day and I was out on Tuesday. Meanwhile he tracked down two of the witnesses and the officer and interviewed them at length. This helped when it came time to go to trial.
In discussions with the prosecutor as to why the case against me was no good, he learned that the prosecution felt exactly the same way due to the evidence being suspect. I do not know how he was able to do so, but all charges were dropped. He is now preparing a civil suit for malicious prosecution.
If you are arrested for any offense, felony, misdemeanor, dui, drugs, assault....anything, you have to call Mr FitzGerald. The other reviews he has are spot on. This guy is knowledgable, knows the system inside and out, is always available to call and speak to, when he says he will do something it gets done fast. Trust me this is the guy to call.
He practices in local courts and federal courts (I know because my nephew used him in federal court...and won).

Elizabeth was an excellent attorney in representing my case in which I was dealing with a serious traffic infraction. I was going through a bad separation/divorce in 2010 and I needed an attorney ASAP. I looked around the internet and posted what I was looking for in an attorney on a website.
Christian immediately emailed me and said he could help me out with my situation. The minute I met him, I knew I hit the lottery with him as my attorney. Christian is such a calming presence and assured me he would take care of my stress and make sure that I would not be bullied by me ex's attorney. Off and on, my divorce and custody battle went on for a few years! Each time, Christian was there and had my back. My Ex's attorney was a very difficult person to deal with and very irrational and emotional at times as well. This behavior allowed my attorney (Christian) to come out with a favorable outcome when it came to my custody issue. His recommendation on having my young son testify in my custody battle was key to me having 50-50 split shared custody. While always calling a child to testify is a calculated risk, Christian felt good about it with the Judge that would oversee the trial. Christian also made excellent choices for me when it came to my divorce. His recommendation on a small buyout of my ex in return for her leaving my retirement alone and forfeiting her ability to ever come back to me for anything in the future was the BEST decision I ever made. I didn't think that at the time, but he assured me it was in my best interest seeing how vindictive my ex is. The end result? Christian was correct!
Whenever I had needed Christian, he's always been there for me. He has become more than just "my attorney" He has become a true friend and someone that I consider family. He is so kind, considerate and his integrity is what makes him an outstanding attorney.

Jack was thrown into my case, which was an extraordinarily complex issue involving retaliation from a multi-billion dollar tech company & the laws regarding pay for "on-call time", about midway to summary judgement. The (also very talented) lawyer I had originally hired had received a higher calling from the White House that could not be ignored, and so Jack was thrown into the fray. Jack spent an inordinate amount of time with a MASSIVE amount of evidence to plow through and did so admirably and without hesistation or complaint. I was able to receive a considerable sum offered in settlement without having to drag myself through another potential few years of litigation. This allowed me to put the anger aside and get on with the business of living my life, which to me is worth more than gold! Tom represented me in a serious criminal matter. This was my first time having any sort of run-in with the law so of course I was very anxious. Tom was compassionate and is a truly generous man. I was falsely accused of committing a crime by an angry ex who I was not in contact with for at least 6 months. He was convicted of a misdemeanor against me and I was trying to leave the area and start fresh, until I was wrongly arrested. The police were understanding and took my evidence but I still faced pretty serious charges. Alan Dobson did a great job for my ESL student. She arrived in the US in May, 2013, at age 23 to join her mother, based on a request as a child of an asylee that originated in 2004, when she was 15. It took so long to get to the US because her government would not let her leave the country.
When she applied for permanent residence status (the green card), the USCIS said that because of her age, she would have to granted asylum on her own. That is when Alan Dobson was hired.
He knew exactly what needed to be done, that is, to request asylum, Nunc Pro Tunc. Mr Dobson filed for asylum for my student, represented her at the hearing and helped her refile the request for the green card, all for one very reasonable fixed fee. She was granted asylum and received her green card.
Unfortunately for my student, this process took several years, first because of a mistake at the USCIS office in Texas and then the huge backlog of cases in immigration court. Through all this time, Mr. Dobson maintained contact with my student, helped her renew her work permit several times (at no additional charge) and was always professional, courteous and upbeat when she was most discouraged.
She could not have had a better attorney or a better person handling her case.

Adam Hancock was the first and last attorney I've dealt with. I was facing a DUI (first offense), and scared to death. You would be a fool to not hire this guy if you have any type of traffic or criminal case. He got me off the hook with a nine point, three ticket charge, while I had 10 demerit points! He also got another guy off completely who was clearly guilty of larceny (stolen gift cards) and owned the Arlington prosecutor.
